wow.. this was my first time came to Palembang. Lucky me, I chose the right Hotel to stay. The hotel was amazing, the room was really clean, there was a big space of parking area, the staff were friendly and the food was out of this world. Hidden gem”
This hotel is perfect for family traveling. Room is spacious and great facilities. Comfy bed too! Location is a bit far from downtown but that’s okay, considering it’s close to LRT station, so you can go by it. The mall beside the hotel has various good tenants. The only thing that annoyed us was the local people who stayed for staycation at the same floor were VERY LOOOOUUUUDDDD! They talked to each other (almost screaming) in the hallway (they stayed as family in different rooms), kids running back and forth endlessly until we had to call receptionist to send the security. Elevators are too few for a tall building. So we had to scoot in crowded elevator (and it’s still covid risk situation). Otherwise, we were very happy staying at this hotel.

One of the best in Palembang”
The hotel felt new, no idea when it was first operational. Grand design lobby , Clean spacious room with smart TV albeit the smallest size TV I had ever encountered in 5 star hotel. Thumbs up for the room AC , so good that you can try in room winter time ...brrr. Helpful friendly staffs all round . Those made up for the location that a bit outskirt . Definitely need to be fixed are the lifts that super super slow to close and took a while to start moving. During crowded time either you wait forever or follow people squeezed in regardless of direction up or down to get moving.

Recommended hotel to stay around the Jakabaring Sports City area”
We have stayed several times at Wyndham OPI Hotel and the service matches the predicate of embedded stars. It's just that I experienced a little difficulty when trying to get into a special guest wifi network. A little input so that the hotel can make improvements to improve service standards. However, I would still recommend Wyndham OPI Hotel Palembang if you want to stay in the Jakabaring Sports City area.

2'nd time staying here. This time tried the facilities . The gym machines are top qualities. Breakfast are good . The restaurant serve fantastics cakes . The steak can easily the best in Palembang and nowhere comparable for the ambience further notched up by great server .

Need regular maintenance ”
The hotel is 5 star but lack of maintenance in the room given just open less than 6 months. There was thin spider web near the ceiling, stain found in the basin and also broken tap for shower. Other than that everything is perfect. Breakfast is superb, friendly staff and great live music in lounge.
