“F1 Weekend”
I moved out of Paris Hotel to get better rates for that weekend of F1 Races. My first room was in the Central Tower near the elevators. This room had rust spots on the bathtub that looked like poop. I did call housekeeping to try to clean it. I tried to clean it first. By the handicap bar, it was super dirty too under the shower. Housekeeping came up while I was gone and just left me towels and made the bed. The brown rust was still there. At 4 am and 5 am, people walked by and I could hear them talk very loudly. My frig froze my leftover Prime rib dinner. There have no microwaves in the room or downstairs like they did during CVID Xmas when I stayed there. When I stayed Xmas 2020, they did post a sign on those microwaves that only the frozen dinner purchased at the gift shop can be warmed up. So I did not use those microwaves even though I did have leftovers. The next afternoon, I did go downstairs and asked to be moved to a room down the hall away from the elevators. I heard the elevator bell dinging too. I was lucky the front desk gal was nice enough to move me and gave me a free upgrade to a remodeled room. So I drop my luggage into the new room and leave for the day. The A/C was blowing hard and it was cold. When I get back I stayed 1.5 hrs in the room. I did not want to go back downstairs to change rooms again. I called maintenance up and they had 3 more other projects to do before they could come to my room. So I said they them that it would be faster to go downstairs and get another room. I first call about the A/C not warming up even with the heat is jacked up to 80 degrees. The front desk gal was nice and gave me another upgraded remodeled room . I did ask for a room with no connecting doors. This room had two connecting doors. But no other guests were staying in the rooms next to me since people had left the hotel by Sun and it was Sun night. So I will go back to stay at Westgate even though it's a very long walk to get to other casinos. As long as I get onto the Monorail to get to MGM Grand, Mid Strip or go to Sahara to ride the Duece to get to across the street. Westgate does provide good customer service at the Bell desk and front desk. I did not eat at any of the restaurants and did not was to eat Bar Food at the Sportsbook.
