Great stay in Siem Reap”
The Victoria Angkor Resort and Spa was the perfect place to stay in Siem Reap, and one of the most enjoyable hotels I've ever stayed anywhere. Great location, an easy walk into the town, and close to Siem Reap's wonderful temples. It was much nicer than I had even anticipated, I would like to have been able to stay longer and enjoy the facilities more. Great food, wonderful people, and a beautiful pool. Worth the trip in itself!

Colonial elegance with a modern touch”
We only stayed for four nights but it was by far the best hotel of our holiday. The room was spacious and clean, with a good sized balcony overlooking the lush green tropical plants between our room and the pool (salt water). Each night at around 7 the chamber maids would ask to turn down the bed and left gifts on our pillows each time. We treated ourselves to a massage in the hotel spa which was also excellent, albeit a tad spendy for Cambodia, mind you it is five star! The hotel staff were very friendly and polite throughout our stay. The hotels sits facing the central park and is 15 minutes by private car to the Angkor Temples, 15-20 to the airport and only 3 by tuk-tuk to Pub Street. This is by far the best hotel in Siem Reap and is well worth that little extra. Very very well recommended!

Absolutely delightful return visit.”
This was a return visit for us and we took first time visitors to Cambodia with us. We did all the bookings and were anxious everything went well for our friends sake. It was wonderful. Some hotels are not the same on a subsequent visit but the Victoria was perfect as we remembered it. The guys played golf several times and the staff facilitated the bookings with competence. Us ladies went to the Spa which was gorgeous. We have been to Cambodia many times and staying at the Victoria in Siem Reap is a standout. I often reflect on the Kmer color scheme at the Victoria and it is just so fitting it conjures up instant feelings of cultural awareness. We all had a wonderful stay and will return with the Golf clubs of course.

Amazing hotel”
This is a beautiful and luxurious hotel that is close to Angkor Wat. The best part was the swimming pool which was gorgeous. It was very hot in Siem Reap while we were there and taking a day to sit by the pool and cool off in the pool every now and then was great, not to mention the excellent poolside service where we could order drinks, food, ice cream, even complimentary massages. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone who is thinking about visiting Angkor Wat and Siem Reap.

Charming French colonial in the center of town”
We stayed two nights in late August and we wished we stayed longer. The hotel is only a few years old, but is beautifully decorated in French colonial revival. The swimming pool is perfect for cooling down after days of adventures in Siem Reap and around. Breakfast buffet is probably one of the best of all hotels I have stayed in the southeast Asia. Staff was all warm, and had this genuine welcoming smiles (that is different from some Thai resorts). Tuk Tuk was always waiting at the front gate, so we just hopped on and went to explore the town only for a couple $s. There are some giganic hotels around the road leading to Angkor Wat/Thom, but I would much prefer quiet, middle-sized Vicoria. They also provided electric mosquito coils in the room, but we did not have to use it.

The Victoria Angkor was such a lovely hotel to stay in. It was very centrally located and the staff were so kind and helpful all the time. The place was so charming and had so much character. My family really enjoyed staying here and will certainly consider staying here again when in Siem Reap.

Lovely hotel in Siem Reap”
Everything was very good, but the things that we loved about the Victoria at Siem Reap were the beautiful pool area (they have a large salt water pool). The pool is easy to access with steps, has plenty of loungers and is surrounded by trees. We also loved the bar area, which has a delightful 1930's feel- fantastic for a sundowner looking out at the pool! and the lovely trees in the middle of the hotel (just outside our room) which are decorated with beautiful lights at night. A very romantic feel to the place and one of our favourite hotels anywhere to date!

Wonderful, great atmosphere”
this was my 2nd visit to siem reap and i decided that i wanted a comfortable place where i would not only sleep but also enjoy the atmosphere. the victoria is absolutely the right place for that, with its impeccable service, best breakfast ever, great pool to relax after climbing temple after temple in angkor. the location is fine even to go walking or to catch one of the numerous tuk-tuks, wi-fi could be a bit faster but it was working fine.

The Victoria Exceeds All Expectations!”
I booked the Victoria for my parents' one week visit to Siem Reap. They are both in their 70s and had never been to Asia before. They were apprehensive about their trip, but had an experience of a lifetime. They positively could not stop remarking about the incredible staff, elegant design, quality restaurant, bar and comfort of the Victoria. I am convinced that the Victoria made the sometimes challenging aspects of being in a developing country completely manageable for them. I recommend the Victoria to all visitors!

fantastic hotel old world charm”
my family are very discerning re food and fussy re accomodation - but here in siem reap we foung an absolute gem -from the staff to the food to the facilites it was almost faultless. the only minor complaints we could find were that the coffee could be better and some of the spa staff were inexperineced. but having said that we will be back in a flash and have alreaday recoomended the hotel to others. the food and beverage manager (chan sophea) went out of his way to make us at home and we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday in their freanch restaraunt which was first class. his staff were so accomodatiing on this special occassion. number one hotel for us on our trip through singapore, cambodia and vietnam.

Unparalelled for price in Siem Reap”
This is a fantastic deal in Siem reap. I have stayed here for the Angkor half-marathon 2 years running now and would be very pleased to return. The old elevators, the layout and decor are all very charming. The french restaurant attached to the hotel is good but too expensive for what you get. The in-house restaurant and breakfast included are fabulous. Well done!

Great hotel. Disappointing kids club ”
I was traveling on my own with young boys ages 7, 5 and 3. After a long day of travel I was thrilled with the efficient check in process and how attentive the staff were to my overtired children. The free crocodile the kids were given at check in was a lovely touch. Upon being taken to our room it became clear we had been given a free upgrade to a stunning suite. Again I was thrilled! Each morning after a very decent breakfast we made use of the affiliated tuk tuks out front if the hotel and Mr Seven (our driver) took us to various temples and other attractions. After a hit and sweaty few hours we would head back to the pool and enjoy the pool. A great combination. Unfortunately the kids club tainted my stay. I had chosen the Victoria as many reviews had mentioned their kids club. And as I was traveling alone with the boys this was important to me. The hotel information mentions indoor and outdoor activities for the children etc etc. it is a medium sized room largely catering to babies. On our first day I dropped the kids off for 45 mins while I went and bought supplies for our stay. Upon my return the kids complained that the two staff members had just sat and watched their tv soap opera. I discussed this with the staff and they apologized and assured me they would not do this again. The following two days the older two boys went to kids club afte lunch while I stayed in our room with the youngest one napping. They played with some toys and watched some cartoon TV. Given our busy mornings i was totally ok with that but I do feel the term "kids club" is a little misleading. I definitely feel the staff should be more engaged. Having said all that it did serve its purpose for me needing short term babysitting and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Siem Reap was a fabulous destination for the kids and I. Definitely up there with one of our top holidays.

Friendly hotel and spa, great breakfast”
The start of my stay was very friendly and welcome. I even got an early check-in and they didn't make any problems for a late check out at the end of my stay. I loved the quiet location, which is not too far from the city center. Great to rent a bike and travel trough the beautiful scenery. The massage and pool drinks in the hotel are great, but are a little bit expensive in comparison to similar facilities in the city nearby. All in all it was great to be in Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa, a place to go back, for sure!

French comfort in Siem Reap”
We had a lovely stay at the Victoria Resort in Siem Reap. We have stayed at the Victoria in Phan Theit and stayed here because of the lovely time we had there. The Victoria Angkor Wat did not disappoint and was a nice home away from home during our four days in Cambodia. The only negatives were the very sparse and overpriced breakfast buffet (just go to town for breakfast) and the air conditioning took hours to cool off our room. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to these issues though. Enjoy the wonderful saltwater pool!

Sensational service and high quality accommodation”
we found the hospitality and service at the Victoria Angkor Resort beyond expectation. The Deluxe room was large and well appointed. Our view from the balcony overlooked the swimming pool and the vegetation within the quadrangle provided a tropical aspect. We were not disturbed by the patrons enjoying the poolside.The staff were very attentive and the prices of drinks and food were affordable. The location of the hotel was sufficiently removed from the commercial (markets) to create a perception of grandeur but close enough to commute aboard a Tut- Tut to any destination at very reasonable rates.

Quality hotel in great location”
This is one of the top Siem Reap hotels. Close to town but far enough to be out of the mayhem. Staff are quite good and friendly. The pool area is a wonderful environment to while away the time. Happy hour is good. Breakfast has a wide selection of foods but the plates were dirty several times. Coffee is poor and belies the quality of the hotel. Our a/c wasn't responsive and sometimes was too cold, sometimes too hot. The shower tub is very small (footprint) but the pressure and hot water is good. Wifi is free and quick.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the city”
While we were visiting in the off-season, the hotel provided calmness in the middle of Siem Reap. This was particularly so for the central swimming pool area which the kids enjoyed so much (actually more than the old temples of Angkor). Rooms are excellent as well.

Good hotel with French colonial style architecture”
Very comfortable hotel in good location. The pool and its surrounds are very attractive. The staff are very friendly and the rooms clean. Breakfast overlooking the pool is excellent. We were disappointed with our meal at the Bistro restaurant but perhaps this was due to the choices of food[ the rabbit was extremely tough ]. Overall the hotel was a great experience and I would recommend it to Siem Reap visitors.

Beautiful All Around”
we loved everything about this hotel. the service even before our stay was great. we arranged for a pick up at the airport, our flight was over an hour late but they were still there waiting. on arrival the open air lobby is stunning, as is the rest of the grounds, room, pool, all around the hotel was stunning. we did not eat at restaurant, but we did order room service and we were very pleased. i will come back to victoria angkor resort & spa

fantastic hotel located by the river. a short tuk tuk ride to the main centre of siem reap, cost $2.00. luxurious surroundings, staff welcoming and friendly, service excellent. large rooms, comfortable furnishings and prices in the hotel very reasonable. we will defiantly be making a return visit.
