Where to stay in Uluwatu
Uluwatu hotels & accommodations

Getting to Anantara Bali Resort & Spa from Denpasar took awhile approximately 45 minutes taking into consideration the traffic. Having a shuttle service to pick you up from the resort itself is more worth it rather than getting a taxi from the airport as they tend to cheat your money. From the lobby itself, the scenery of the resort is breathtaking. The room was even b...

For me the Best hotel in uluwatu, is the second consecutive year that I stay in it. It's front To the peak of surf in uluwatu. The pool is great and the service too. We stayed in the villas, room clean and new! The mamma cafe is excellent! I will be back and will stay again! Super recommend!

We paid about $1400 for 2 nights at the one bedroom ocean view as the cliff-edge ocean view was fully booked but got upgraded to a two bedroom ocean view room as they were quite fully booked when we checked-in. nice gesture but it didnt matter as we didnt need the extra room anyway. The view from our room was quite obstructed and i wasnt exactly happy that i could see ...

hidden gem in uluwatu! eventhough the location is quite hidden and the only road leading to the resort is badly damaged, but when you arrive there, all those bad impression gone away as soon as you being welcomed by the staffs. walked into the room leave us speechless looking at the detailing, nice room, nice private pool, semi equipped kitchen and nice living room. t...

Booked this villa for my birthday and had the best experience. The butler service was top notch and the bbq dinner and romantic set up was on key. I can't wait to book again for next year! Thank you C151 staff for making my birthday vacation so memorable!

- We were greeted at the arrival hall way before the customs check, and led Royal style through express way straight to the baggage collection area. The Visa upon arrival was managed by the Hotel at the Custom. Wow! - The Room was so spacious, more than enough for an extra bed with baby sleeping with us. The Indian Ocean view and the waves hitting along the coast do...

we are very lucky to be the first guests boeed from agoda. hence, we are entitled to relatively cheaper rate and come complimantary services. the villa is quite ptivate and has almost everything you need like outdoor living, outdoor kitchen and dining, private swimming pool, both indoor and outdoor bath. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the hotel is located 15 mi...

Great Location on the top of the hidden hills in Uluwatu with amazing 360 views however it's more like an Air B&B so non other facilities if compare to other five star resorts. With limited few villas available for different sizes of groups, this is the true hidden hill villas in Uluwatu. Special note on the Santorini Villa, amazing art deco, white/ blue decoration f...

Pros: the view, the room was better than the photos in my opinion, clean, the people are incredibly friendly, drivers can take you wherever you want to go for a reasonable price, the pool is great, comfortable bed. Overall, I had a great stay here and would stay again. Cons: walkability to other places isn’t great, but that’s what the drivers are for and I think typic...

Our stay at Le Grande couldn't have been better. I have stayed at Uluwatu before (but not at Le Grande) and loved the area so thought I would bring the girlfriend here and stay at a nice resort. Le Grande definitely did not disappoint. Beautiful grounds beside a golf course with a great pools, bar, pool table, ping pong and restaurant. Room was massive, spotlessly clea...

uluwatu considers as new tourism area in bali. most taxi drivers don't know where this hotel located. we ended up frocked up more from our pocket because of lost on the road and lack of road signs to direct us to the hotel. i suggest renting a car with driver who knows this location. the hotel's view is magnificent. it located up the hill facing south, uluwatu sea. ...

The price is worth every peny The villas are spacious large bed clean room the air conditioner is working well The pool is so amazing with the view of the city center, the view of sea and the mountain directly in front of your eyes... Pros: great location, great value (similar villa nearby would cost 2-4x more), nice and clean premises, right size pool with jacuzzi, nice bathtub, open door/window rooms, good tv cable/wifi, full kitchen amenities, 2 security guards 24h, pandawa beach resort closeby. They also serve very nice chicken satay (the best!!) although not always readily available. Cons: ba...

The Wyndham is right near the beautiful dreamland beach you can quickly walk there from the hotel loved that. W hired a scooter from the hotel for short trips around but they will happily book you a driver where you want to go. Uluwatu is a nice area with looks of beach’s and beach clubs so we enjoyed stay a few nights and seeing all of that. The staff were amazing. Re...

An excellent hotel in Pecatu close to uluwatu and jimbaran areas. A new hotel with very nice facilities and a good base to explore the beaches of uluwatu, uluwatu temple and jimbaran beach and sea food. we stayed just one night and wished we could stay longer. Hotel is also very close to the airport. Just 30 minutes away. we flew out the next day.

We stayed in several parts of the island for our honeymoon and this is where we ended our stay in Bali. Uluwatu has a very chill vibe. This hotel is at the very back of a gated community which is nice but also makes it a bit tougher getting around. The hotel is pretty nice inside for a price but overall it’s very tired and needs some renovating. The staff however is ve...

My mum and I stayed in the Jepun villa which was huge for just the two of us (it made us want to come back with more family members). Balinese style villa with separated bedrooms and individuals bathrooms. Big private swimming pool and living areas. The service was excellent. Breakfast freshly prepared and served facing the coast. Renting a motorbike is easy and you ...

The views were amazing from almost any private room/suite that you choose from. Breakfast was tasty, and it was included inside my room price, which was a nice surprise as I was expecting otherwise. I loved the balcony/private terrace and the public lounge areas where I had my breakfast to too. The Padang Padang beach was also literally just right below Dreamsea itself...

Me and my partner were upgraded to the Big Rock room for my Birthday! The room itself was lovely, with panoramic views of the sea and a nice big wrap around balcony where we were able to eat a tasty breakfast each morning. We loved the facilities, location and food options available throughout the day here. The beach just below is very quiet and clean, and was the best...

Me and my BF stayed here for a night. We were greeted with roses on the bed which was very sweet and romantic. The staff were great and helpful. The rooms are really clean and for worth it for the price we paid. Taxis can be found parked right across the hotel. My only problem with my stay here was that there was absolutely nothing to do around the area. Everything clo...

I greatly recommend the Puri Pandawa resort. It is lovely place with excellent staff - nothing is a problem in Puri and we felt realy comfortable and well pampered. It is place for those who wants to escape from busy tourist places as Kuta. They have a nice swiming pool and lovely garden. We rented a comfy kind of beach house with part opened bathroom and we just love...

Three Monkeys is in a great location for exploring the best of Uluwatu. You can walk to the beach, the bars, the restaurants easily. Breakfast each day is a lovely treat, or you can relax by the pool while making friends with the other guests in this small but friendly setting. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, and all the staff know you on first name ...
Cheap places to stay in Uluwatu

my stay was amazing! from the beginning till the end, the lovely and gorgeous staff made me feel like home. It was like living with a small family. They were always smiling, helpful and extremely kind! the basic room was perfect for us: it was a really good price, close to the beach and in a nice and quiet area. This Guesthouse has a restaurant and a small shop for wat...

Uluwatu backpackers is an awesome place. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are soft. So many good vibes here. Super cheap and excellent quaility for the price (around 5 USD a night). Alan, the manager, is so kind and helpful. Nice pool and lots of space to hang out on beanbags and mingle. I had the best time here.

This hostel was by far the best I have stayed at in Bali! I ended up extending so many nights! The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and hot water, wifi was great, everything is clean, but most importantly, Ronny was the perfect host. He took us to some places around town and created such a warm environment where every guest at th...

Great place to stay. It was at the center of all the must-go places in Bali. All you need is a motorbike which can be rented at the hotel at a very low price then you can go anywhere north, south, east and west to all of the nice beaches there especially Padang Padang and Uluwatu two of the major tourist spots in the island. And banana pancake is awesome.

Great location. A lot of western food nearby. If you want cheap indonesian food, go to warung Heboh. The room is big. Bed is huge. Very comfy and clean. Could use a electric socket close to the bed. No hot shower. Staff is friendly The outdoor bathroom sounds like a great idea, but once the sun goes down, the bathroom looks more like a zoo! You will find frogs, bird...

It's a basic accommodation with a bed including mosquito nets, which we didn't need at all, hot shower, reliable WiFi, good working air-conditioning and friendly staff. You definitely need to rent a scooter, which we got from the stay, to go to the beach (10 minutes ride) or to other shops and restaurant. If you don't like driving a scooter there is one shop just 2 min...

Had a really good stay and recommended it to several other travelers, the rooms are quite small, but the staff are wonderful and are doing everything to make your stay the best, which make is a great value for money. They offer all sort of shuttles to party and took a group out to dinner with desert. The vibe is just great, you will meet loads of nice people in the com...

This was the cleanest room I've never seen during my trip in Indonesia. The restaurant is very cheap in compare to other restaurant in Uluwatu. The Location is perfect! Closes to a lots of Beaches. It's possible to rent a bike direct to the hostel. The staff is very good.

The place is really nice, the bed is super confy and room was very clean. Made is a super helpful and friendly host. Location is a bit distant if walking to places is your intention. But Made has a scooter to rent so that will facilitate. If you looking for a nice place to relax this is the best option in uluwatu. And theres also a small kitchen so you can make your ...

Pros- The staff are absolutely amazing! This has by far been the best place to stay on our trip. Super close to all of the beaches you wanna hit. Nice size room! Cons- we did have some ants in our room...but that’s to be expected everywhere I’m sure. It also would be nice to have breakfast included (pro-breakfast was amazing here too!)

Stayed at Ady's with the intention of doing some paragliding and surfing which are both close by, the location is just perfect. The accomdation itself is basic but very clean. Dbl bed, bathroom, kettle and fridge. Lots of food options locally (warungs). Ady will rent you a motorbike (essential) to get around at a super good rate. Supermarket is around 100m away. I rea...

For backpackers or travelers on a budget, this is a five stars hotel! Room for 6€ is a really comfy, quite, nice small pool, place to chill and kitchen! Staff is friendly. You can bike for 60K/day. Thought you can go around/for eating by walking. We will come back!

Very impressed with this new small but smart hotel. Only six rooms with king bed but the rooms are amazing for the price they charge to us. PC with internet, great bath room and quite big room. The hotel is at 5min walking from PAdang Padang Beach and is in a forest enviroment free of noise, perfect to relax. All the beverages are very cheap and the staff is very kind....

Everyone at the homestay was so sweet, friendly and accommodating, it was a highlight of my time in Uluwatu! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. The fan kept the room cool, and the room felt overall very secure. The price was amazing, and I ended up loving it so much I extended my stay. Will definitely come back!

Never had such a great experience in any homestay. The host and his wife are kind, helpful and they do a very good breakfast. My phone got stolen in Kuta and he helped me to go to the police at 10pm, always with a smile. The place is comfortable and you have one of the best warung of whole bali at 100m (6 amazing meals for 100k, its amazing).

Pro: the location on the map is right at the crossroad of many interesting spots in Uluwatu, Pecatu and the surrounding, the price is affordable. Con: the small path leading to the hostel is very dark at night, no street lights, the window cannot close shut so people can hear and see you from outside, but the guests were chill and respected your privacy.

Helpful owner Wayan. Very energetic. Motor bike rental at 60,000 per day. We stayed at both the standard double room and the delux room. Delux comes with a rooftop for star gazing at night, a small courtyard, bigger washroom. But the standard is good enough for couples. There is also gas stove for boiling water. You can ask for a saucepan from the kitchen.

Although we arrived disappointed as we’d booked a twin room of which there are none, after realising it was an agents mistake they kindly gave us 2 rooms. The Australien lady working there went above and beyond to help us get a ferry to Lembongan and also helped cure Bali Belly with her personal activated charcoal mix she made. The room was clean, the massive double be...

Uluwatu Made Guesthouse is located on a windy road and is surrounded by lush forestry and bush. Our stay there was extremely nice. The owner is an extremely nice women who makes THE BEST banana smoothies in the world (must try). The location is good, but only if you happy to ride a motorbike (50k per day). The spot is around a 4-6 minute bike ride to a few restaurants...

This is the second time ive stayed here, close to everything - single fins is just up the road - rent a ped and discover lots of cool beaches in uluwatu. Me and my boyfriend were backpacking and this place was great to meet other people our age - i'd say 18-30s. The food is really cheap and soo delicious really good for your money if your on a budget. Nice restaura...

bed is comfortable facilities are new and clean Breakfast have not much choice but is acceptable. Highly recommend the scrambled eggs, very delicious Somebody will give location lower rating but I give 5 because there is no difference on the access to transportation if you are staying in the uluwatu area

It was lovely place to stay when we want to visit Uluwatu Temple to see Kecak Dance. Near to IndoMart. Hotel charge us IDR50,000 for buying hanger from them. We stay at Murai room, but upstairs a bit dusty, so we ask the cleaner to clean it up. The spoon for tea was not clean because it was used by previous traveller. Prompt service and we had a wonderfull night.

The new construction hotel is one of the better hotels in Bali and certainly one of the very best in close proximity to Uluwatu temple. The use of a golf cart to go to and from the villa from the lobby could be trying for some people, I never minded a few minutes wait if the golf cart was assisting other customers. The customer service was impecable and the villas were...

Well this is our first time here (and they were just established not so long ago, reflected by the furniture and interior, that is all brand new). Impressive with the value of money. The mattress is a 5-stars quality. The view (of sea -although it headed west), the pool, all are very great. Except the breakfast that they should improve. Two thumbs up and would visit th...

Accomodating staff. Nice design of rooms and facilities although it has aged, still a great value for the price. Very cold airconditioning, cozy and comfortable room, wonderful landscaping, antiques and furniture, and a wonderful view of the coast, Uluwatu and Seminyak area to cap out trip. Nice organic restuarants and surf shops down the road.

Initially didn't enjoy Bali much but as soon as we arrived here our whole perspective changed. The staff really made the place, they looked after us so well. We were staying in the 2 bed villa for a week but had friends coming into Bali staying elsewhere. So we booked the big 5 bed villa for a night for all our friends which was great. The staff were very accommodati...

We have reached the villa on 7th February but UNFORTUNATELY, the villa is on SUPER BAD HYGIENE/CLEALINESS situation. The villa, ALL THE facilities including the swimming pool are of super dirty, stained with fungus etc. We are not able to enjoy our holidays with the villa for the 3 nights stay. We are very disappointed with it that it ruined our whole trip with the d...

We picked up supplies at Pepitos on the way because we didn't know if there would be anything available at Lorin. The hotel is new, large and minimalist. The room has not coffee making facilities but otherwise is well equipped. When we were there Lorin was virtually empty. I walked the long corridors for fittness each morning. The rooftop area is equipped with sea...

Brilliant and relaxing. Saskia really goes above and beyond to ensure you have a brilliant stay. The food was excellent and wholesome, made fresh by the chef (even the jams!!). Loved the spacious room, artwork and pool hangout after a day on the motorbikes and surrounding beaches in South Kuta/Uluwatu. Would return! Only downside was little far from nightlife/restauran...

The staff were Really sweet and thoughtful, especially Madi - they decorated our room and filled our bathtub with beautiful flowers for our honeymoon :) the location and hotel are Super peaceful, away from bustle and heat of Kuta, Jimbaran and Padangbai /Bingin. There was a free short shuttle to Jimbaran Beach and to Balangan Beach which was very convenient. As we wer...

We stayed at the Semara and never want to set our foot off after finding the breathtaking views. Uluwatu is definitely one of or the best destination spot in this gods island and the luxurious Semara is definitely one of many that stands out along Uluwatu cliffs. You'll find 7 different properties with each own very concept to choose. Our stay was complimented by a gre...

The Sterling will be amazing when it is finished. It was a bit of a ghost town which suited us. At the moment there is a temporary lobby, pool, restaurant, gym etc. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The staff were helpful, the room was amazing. It was weird that they didn’t order taxi’s for you. Always want to hook you up with a driver.

The free breakfast you get here doesn’t compare to anywhere else I have stayed in Bali and we have been 7 times. No tvs so if you’re want that and loud music and booze it’s not for you. They have beers in their fridges if your partners need a drink and you can buy your own to enjoy in your room or on the patio. One of my Ll time favourite places to stay in uluwatu and ...

This is a very strange hotel in the first place. Advertised as 5-star, it's visible that this category was just an intention. At best it looks like 4 minus. But considering the ridiculously low prices you can get sometimes, it might be a good idea to consider it. If something in The Rich Prada is really 5-star, this is the lobby. It shows the owners' intentions most o...

I am writing this review after 10 months, sorry for the late review. I went for 3 more holidays after my Bali trip and stayed at 5 star hotels every time with my toddler kid, but nothing was as compareable with Renaissance Uluwatu. Flamingo Dewata Pool Villa is located at the residential area. It's a serene, leisure and free accommodation. The villa's pool is clean and decent in size. The villa arranged an in-room breakfast for us. Even the food is not much choices, but we still enjoy it.

Modern house with gorgeous decor and everything you need for a vacation of peace and solitude. We loved everything about our stay but if you want to see tourist attractions this villa is not for you. If your happy to try traditional bali set amongst villages then it's perfect. The Melasti beach - the best on Bali - and located just in 3-5 min by car and the road from v...

Love the big and modern living room, kitchen and bedrooms!! A big surprise that the pool is 1.80m 👍👍👍. Thank you host for providing 24hrs security guard and all the amenities & conveniences. On arrival the original office was an absolute mess. All the grounds were neglected & water features drained & derelict. I was shocked & about to tell my driver we weren't going to stay. This is my wedding trip in Bali. I have booked 2 nights for my family. The villa is very large and beautiful that I was very impressed when I look around it. Our manager was very kind and helpful. If not one of the best. Everything was perfect, no complaints and we would for sure stay here again. This is our second time in Bali and this Vila by far will blow away your expectations. It's a very personal place with exquisite quality all around. You have to drive to ger around but the view is amazing. Definitely try it if you are in the market for excellence when ...

There is a staff who is extremely helpful and friendly with all our request from accommodation, food to transport request, forgot to take down his name. One of the main concern is the smell around the areas where pig farm is nearby. It is not very smell-friendly area.

Had a fantastic stay! Rooms are spacious, ours was on the ground level which had a pool view and a lovely terrace with deck chairs to chill out. The pool is incredible, massive and well designed with plenty of trees for shade, numerous deck chairs, day beds and cabanas and easy access to the bar for drinks or snacks. Special mention to the incredible breakfast buffet...
