"You know how Ubud, Bali is like? It sets the mood. It makes you peaceful. Its just close to perfection. Well, include Chili Ubud Cottage in your 'to-stay' location when in Ubud and let's just say that you would like for time to just stop. Staff - level of friendliness and attention they give is that of any Ritz. Top notch. Location - tucked in a cul-de-sac but still having Monkey Forest walkable and Monkey Forest Rd is just 5mins walk, it's ideal enough. Premise - initially thought out as a Resto, this place expanded inwards and became villas there after. It's a beautiful place where you can just look down from the Resto @ the front and just wonder your mind away - perfection with an IPad but sheer heavenly when you have an actual book. The smell of the surroundings and the smell of the book paper adding to it a mug of cold one... tell me you are not floating your mind over already? Bfast - small menu but enough to mix and match on a daily basis. Small servings but does the job till afternoon time comes. Room - big enough and spacious. Has all that it needs BUT!! Due to closeness to nature, ants abound so don't be irked. Verdict - I LOVE IT. It's great and all rounded. Everything that holiday dream accoms are. No need for infinity pool. No need for big names. No need to break the bank. Come and enjoy the blissful property that is Chili Ubud. Come and enjoy the days in the Island of Gods. "

"This was by far my favourite property in Bali! The staff went out of their way to make my stay special. There is a complimentary shuttle into the center of Ubud which is so convenient. The breakfast spread was delicious, a mix of local and Western. Pool is a good size. I actually cancelled other accommodation at a 2nd hotel in Ubud to stay an extra week here it was that good! If you want relaxing then this is the best choice you could make + Ubud hustle + bustle is literally a 10+- min drive away! "

"consider a new resort since opening march 2019, ideal for people to just want to stay 1-3nights max to relax. surrounding is quiet and peaceful. staff are friendly and nice. Was given a room beside the dining area at level 2. is really noisy, can hear the sounds outside clearly. requested the room to be change, lucky the staff is nice and arranged fast to be on level 3 instead. the location is apt 15mins away from the ubud centre but they have shuttle vehicle for certain timings to bring you there. otherwise to travel out, the only way is to take a taxi out, the reception staff can always arrange for you. there's nothing to walk around much outside the resort. if you don't mind spending abit more, do go for their spa and their romantic dinner for 2. surprising the beef and prawns are not that bad. we enjoyed chatting with the staff who did the decorations and attended to us after our dinner. only thing i don't really like so much is the slippers and the door to the batharea"

"Me and my boyfriend stayed here as we wanted to visit Ubud but also wanted a nice hotel. We were so glad we chose this hotel! When we walked into the room we both simultaneously said “wow” because it was sooo spacious and clean! It was stunning. The bed was massive too and very comfortable. Everything about the room was perfect. We stayed for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. All the staff at the hotel were so kind and helpful. Breakfast was also included which was a bonus, and was very nice. There was a variety so we always walked away full. The pool was also amazing. There were enough sun beds in very good condition and so was the pool. Everything seemed very new and well cared for. The hotel is out of central ubud but the hotel offers a complimentary transfer at certain times which was handy and a good idea otherwise it would’ve meant getting a taxi. The hotel is situated in the middle of the rice fields which has amazing views both sides of the hotel. It’s a very quite area so it’s very peaceful. We both had the best time staying at your beautiful hotel. We don’t think it could’ve been better. Everything was stunning. Thank you all who made our stay amazing. "

"Because The Anumana Ubud Hotel still new, opening in Mei 2015 so it's inevitable that there's still a sound for finishing, but it’s not to bother for me. Overall I like to stay at The Anumana Ubud Hotel, it’s so relaxing, clean, comfortable and amazing so I would like to go back again. All the staff very friendly and so welcome to us, they always ask about their service. The hotel are located in walking distance to Bebek Bengil Restaurant and Monkey Forest. We stay for 3 nights (with 3 kind different rooms, Superior Lagoon View, Deluxe Lagoon View, Superior Lagoon Access) at The Anumana Ubud Hotel. The room ambience is so calmy and is big enough for me, but the shower it's a bit tricky, first at Superior Lagoon View the water sinkhole not so smooth to absorb the water so I have to take it off the cover, and the shower at Deluxe Lagoon View, the soap, shampoo all places in pot at the washing stand so it's a bit troublesome to use them. Love the lazily couch in balcony at Deluxe Lagoon View. But what I like the most are Superior Lagoon Access, it's in Ground floor with acces (stair) directly to the pool. Love the pool, the water and the design. My disappointment are the picture in TV not to good (maybe because the signal reception not so good) and the channel is to short. And the breakfast, because The Anumana Ubud Hotel still new so there's no Buffet, and they gave us breakfast menu but we can only order it once after that they will charges your order. "

"With such a good range of quality hotels in Ubud finding Alaya was a bit of a coincidence - and therefore a very positive surprise. We were mostly impressed by the overall consistent and good quality throughout our stay. Everything was well implemented: overall service, room, breakfast, hotel public areas, room amenities and furnishing - stony bathtub in the middle of the room was a nice touch, and the view from the balcony was super. We would definitely go back to Alaya and would warmly recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a quality experience at a reasonable cost. The way the hotel is located requires a bit of an effort to get everywhere though: 5-10 minutes to the Monkey Forest, 20 to the Ubud centre but at least you get to see a lot."

"We loved this property! Location: For me, this location was ideal. Situated amongst shops, galleries, restaurants and tourist attractions, everything was easily accessible. Ubud Village is just down the street from Monkey Sanctuary and a short walk from some beautiful scenery. The Ubud Palace (with nightly Balinese dance shows) and arts market are also minutes away. Taxis and motor bikes are everywhere for convenience. Hotel: We stayed in a junior suite and loved it. The room is well appointed and comfortable with high-end finishes, toiletries and lots of space. The staff were awesome! We were offered welcome drinks, explained the property/area and assisted with booking activities. (it's not necessary to book activities/tours in advance or with the hotel directly - there are so many booths/guides in the area for this - but we actually saved money by booking with the hotel and we sensed they were grateful that we did). We had to cancel one activity with short notice due to timing and there were no questions asked; the staff were helpful and understanding. There is a nice restaurant on site which is a bit fancy but not pricey; the food was good and included both western and Indonesian fare. Our breakfast was excellent, though we were too busy to enjoy it daily. The rooftop bar serves complimentary tea and the downstairs bar offers two-for-one cocktails during happy hour. (There are 24 hour convenient stores down the street if you'd rather make your own cocktails or walk around with a Bintang beer). Summary: We love Ubud and the Ubud Village hotel. With so many choices, it's hard choosing a property from afar, in a place you've never visited. I don't always write reviews but I am now because I relied on reviews myself when planning our vacation. We'll definitely stay here again when we return to Ubud (hopefully soon)!"
