EXCELLENT”
Upon first welcoming, the staff was exceptional. Always pleasant, attended to problems quickly if there were any. The breakfast was great. The rooms are super clean, the shower is HUGE, the air conditioning worked well. I loved it. It's also located next to everything. 10 minute walk to Monkey Forest, 15 minute walk to the major temple and ceremonies. 10 minute walk to Ubud Market. It was perfect. The only thing with this place is Grab and Go Jek WILL NOT PICK YOU UP HERE. So...be prepared with cash for a taxi if you want to get out of Ubud and see some other stuff. They rideshare services will drop you off, but you can't get picked up. So be prepared to haggle with the taxi drivers. Also, Ubud Village coordinated with my taxi driver to pick me up from the airport and the rate was super fair. So, maybe even look to them to arrange a taxi for you.

Excellent location & great service”
My wife & I stayed for 7 nights in room 105 which had an amazing balcony & great view of the pool. Our room & large balcony were very clean. Linens & towels were bright white & crisp. Services at the reception desk & house cleaning were exemplary. We were looking for "city hotel" so this property was perfect for us. We were initially little disappointed at the breakfast restaurant but the hotel manager, Wayan Sutawan made sure our concerns were completely taken care of. We were very impressed with his attention to our minor concerns and we thank him for our pleasant 7 nights stay. Important advice: If you run into any issues, go straight to Wayan. We also thank Mr. Dewa at the front desk who greeted us at the check in time & during our departure as well.

Lovely hotel - friendly staff and beautiful gardens”
We loved our stay at Ubud Village Hotel. We got an upgrade - which was a lovely surprise. Our room was very comfortable - the bath was great. We had a verandah where we played cards. The hotel is very beautiful. The central pool with lush plants creates such a relaxing atmosphere to be in. It's so serene that it's hard to believe it's right in the centre of Ubud. All the staff are exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really delicious with lots of options. The flat white coffee was really good! We also enjoyed watching a storm from the roof one afternoon where they serve complimentary afternoon teas. Just perfect. Thank you so much. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel, tucked in from the hustle and bustle of Monkey Forest road. There was genuine warmth from all staff in the hotel, they really made you feel at home. We had booked a Junior Suite with a pool view and it was a huge and spacious room, with lovely furnishings, beautiful huge bathroom and a really nice terrace that we could sit at in the evening. We loved our time at this hotel, pool is smallish however it was never crowded and the 2 for 1 cocktails in happy hour are great value. Breakfast each day was perfect and such high quality. Highly recommend this hotel. So close to everything- so many great restaurants nearby.

Good location, extremely friendly staff and wonderful service”
This hotel is located along the streets but upon entering, it's like you are entering a little sanctuary, away from the noise of the streets. We were greeted with warm smiles when we checked in and the staff helped us with the paperwork while we waited in the lobby. After finishing our welcome drink, we were brought to our room. To our surprise, we were given a complimentary upgrade to a villa room. The room was huge! Everything was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was semi-buffet style facing the pool. The hotel is relatively centrally located to the Ubud Art Market and Monkey Forest. Highly recommended!

We booked here for 2 night. At the moment we arrived we instantly got an upgrade. The room was amazing never seen this before. Clean, huge, bathtub, shower, big balcony. The bathroom was huge as wel. The staf is really nice and the swimming pool was nice and clean. they even had a small gym just enough to get my workout in. Long story short! Simply amazing! Thanks!

Fantastic stay! The team are really professional and attentive, any time you see them they will have a smile on their face and greet you. The location is perfect for walking to great restaurants, street vendors and monkey forest. The room is spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast is really tasty which is a bonus. We have stayed at this hotel many times and the staff are always warm and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious, airy and always very clean. The hotel is in the centre of town, within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes and shops. The onsite restaurant - Madu, also has a great menu selection.

Stayed here for 2 nights in October. From the moment we entered the service could not be faulted - Explained the facilities etc Room - Junior Suite - Was superb. Spotlessly clean. The overall experience in Ubud Village Hotel is superb! The hotel staff is very friendly and help, the room is huge and clean! Most importantly, it is located at the center of Ubud which make it convenience to visit many places! I would be back again to this Hotel if I visit Ubud next time!

Hidden Gem”
+ Staff was very friendly + Very clean + Food is amazing (a la carte and breakfast buffet) + Live Band in the evening + Great Hotel services (massages are worth the money) + Very environmentally friendly philosophy + Our room (Junior Suite) very stylish, I imagine all to be like this. + Great pool area - Can get a little noisy when people yell in the corridor -Air con (maybe just in our room) was a little loud so we turned it off at night. This was fine for us though. ~ Ubud has a 15%-21% service and government charge it seems which (for Europeans like us) is something to keep in mind and not get stressed over. It's nice to see how much tip the staff get though. = All round very pleased with this hotel, so much that we extended our stay. Glad that we found it and would recommend it to anyone interested staying in Ubud!

Beautiful hotel. Staff very attentive. We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic . Great size room...bathroom..balcony over the pool. Great location. Just walk out the door to some great places to eat. Only downfall was the smell of cat urine after having a shower. Didn't last too long but certainly wasn't pleasant. Breakfast was ok. Buffet of cereals, fruit,pastries,toast, juices....tea and coffee and a la carte menu. Will defiantly stay again

Delightfully surprised!”
Couldn't believe our eyes when we entered our accommodation at the Ubud village hotel, Junior suite with pool view. Our room was magnificent and worth every cent. Not a great view of the pool but it didn't really matter. Accommodation was in a great spot, right in the middle of Monkey Forest Road with lots of shops and eateries close by. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Located in the center of Ubud, very close to market, restaurants, shops, Monkey forest. The staff was the best! So nice and polite. We liked the variety of breakfast. Also, complimentary afternoon tea was so nice, and the pasteries were yummy! Rooms were bit dark, cleaned every day. Common areas and pool were nice. For us the main disadvantage was the smell of damp and mold in our first room, which got worst every day. Also the pillows got damp. We got upgraded to another room, which was nice and smelled good but unfortunately, the next day we smelled the same odour in our new room although not as strong as in our first room. So there’s something wrong with the ventilation.

Just amazing! ”
This hotel was way above our expectations! A hidden oasis in the middle of Ubud. Hotel was very clean, room was VERY spacious just beautiful. Staff were super friendly and made awesome drinks. Breakfast had lots of options and both the pool were wonderful, secluded and surrounded by trees & plants. The only negative is the Gym' equipment was not working properly (and that was the main reason for booking that hotel). Location couldn't have been better we walked everywhere for the 4 days we stayed and able to find more places in Ubud than our last trip. Great Hotel will be back for sure.

Honeymoon trip”
The service at Ubud Village was great! Decorated our bed and bathtub with petals and surprised us with a honeymoon cake which tasted great! Before offering the cake, they even asked if we had allergies :) staff were smiley and greeted us every time we pass by. Pleasant stay!

Fantastic hotel, staff were amazing and upgraded us upon arrival. Location was fantastic as you didn't need to catch a taxi to get around everything was walking distance. The only small downside was it was a very large hotel therefore alot of noise at all hours of the day of people coming and going. Other than that I can't fault this hotel.
