Tromso City Center hotels & accommodations

I want to thank all the staff in this hotel, specially Sandra, with which I was in contact before traveling, and she made us feel confident that we had chosen the best hotel in Tromso . It was a wonderful homely 6-day experience @ Thon Hotel Polar & Tromso Very satisfied & will definitely return. We were fortunately to witness the aurora several nights during our stay...all within the city. The breakfast spread was fantastic. Beautiful memories.

Great hotel, highly recommended. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Great breakfast selection and free coffee/tea and cookies available all day. Fast internet connection. Extremely spacious rooms, well designed rooms, heated tiled bathroom, close to all attractions (Tromso is only small). Fantastic spa and health centre on top floor with sauna and heated spa ...

This hotel represents great value with the inclusion of breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea on top of a very nice hotel. The additional cost of a deluxe room with view across the fjord to the mountains is worth the expense. While this may not be the cheapest hotel n Tromso, if you had to buy breakfast and dinner in addition to your hotel room you would need a second or...

If you look for an apartment kind of accommodation, then this is a perfect choice. Old red house is within 20 mins walking distance to major attractions. There is possibility to see Northern Lights from the kitchen if you are lucky when the sky is clear. The property owner was extremely helpful and friendly. we just love the design of this hotel, room was spacious and bed also comfortable. the common area are nice with a touch of skandinavian. there's a modern look fireplace which is very nice in the lobby good to beat the extreme cold weather in winter time

I stayed just a night in Ami Hotel. Location is quite good and the rooms are ok, but a bit noisy due to light walls and plumbing of the sinks. As nice it is to have a watersink in the room, you can't help the noise that comes from it, when someone uses it on otherside of the wall or above... It's a bit distracting if you want to sleep and it bothers. Otherwise the hote...

The location of this property is right in the middle of the city, with a stone's throw away from the underground parking. Norway is a very expensive country, but somehow this hotel manages to provide a very comfortable room at a good price. Bathroom floor is heated, water pressure is good, rooms are clean though basic. A good place to rest in Tromso.
