"I travel to Tokyo every few months for business. This is the perfect hotel for that. Location is central, close to Ginza, Akihara, Tokyo station and only 15min to Shinjuku, 25 min to Shibuya. One step away from the metro station exit. Direct train from Haneda or Narita. Room is small but enough space (so do the other hotels in Tokyo), clean and modern. Bed and comforter is very comfy during the cold nights. Pillows are not like the western type that I know of (fluffy and kinna thick), they r very thin. But I get used to them. They provide enough amenities that you don't have to bring anything from home. Toothbrush, comb, body sponge, hairband are provided. Hairdryer, electric kettle with coffee and tea. They have the Japanese robe, yukata that I can use to sleep. So I don't normally bring pj. "

"APA Nihombashi Bakurocho-Ekimae is conveniently located on the outer skirts of the city. But it is within a very short walking distance to not only 1 subway station but 3! So, no matter where you're coming from within the city, it is easily accessible. The hotel is very clean and housekeeping does a very good job of cleaning the rooms. In terms of facilities, the hotel stores your suitcase before and after check-in/out if you need to catch a late flight or have flown in early and there isn't any room available. However, the rooms are rather small, but I believe this is common throughout Tokyo, so for the price you're paying at APA, I think it's a great deal."

"This is honestly the best hostel I've lived in throughout my month in Japan. The place is new and very clean and there's a good and lively atmosphere present, especially in the bar on the ground floor. The staff are very friendly and interactive so you won't be short of a conversation. The hostel has a kitchen with essentials like oil, sugar, salt, a cooker et cetera so it is possible to cook simple meals. The hostel also has sufficient showers, toilets and a mini launderette. Location wise it is very strategically located, perhaps a minute's walk from JR Bakurocho Station, Toei Bakuro Yokoyama Station on the Shinjuku Line and Toei Higashi Nihonbashi Station on the Asakusa Line. Popular areas like Asakusa, Chiyoda, Akiba et cetera are less than 15 minutes away by metro.. or you could opt to cycle around the city (the hostel does not rent bicycles, but if you have got 1 you could request to store your bicycle on the 2nd floor/3rd level at the staircase landing). The staff also allow for baggage storage pre-check-in and post-check-out but there is a specific time of which I can't remember off the top of my head - it would be best to clarify with the hostel staff but if I'm not mistaken its 8am to 1am. Overall highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo again."

"apa hotels are good because you always know what you're getting, a super tiny room that is comfortable and always clean. i have stayed in many apa hotels and they are always modern and comfortable. i don't mind that they are super small after all this is tokyo. they are always within walking distance if not right outside the subway station. this one was in a really quiet neighborhood so it was boring at night. it's in the same subway line as shinjuku and shibuya which are two of my must visit areas whenever i'm in tokyo. it's hard not to be satisfied with this hotel because all of the important factors like charm, cleanliness and amazing hotel staff are in place.
