We spent 3 nights at the Thon Rosenkratz and all 9 members of my party loved it. Location is superb, easy access to all attractions and tons of cafes, restaurants, etc. Rooms are big, well appointed and extremely comfortable. Service is 5* and staff is incredibly helpful. Breakfast is 5*, the best by far in our 20 days trip in Scandinavia and free dinner snack was awesome. Real value for money in expensive Norway. There is even a gym in the premises.

really enjoyed this hotel! fantastic location- near the sights/shops/short taxi ride to the train station. staff were friendly and accommodating. rooms were comfy, stylish/cool design, good hot water pressure etc. complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was a wide array on offer. two thumbs up!

Staying at Then near the National Gallery”

A warm welcome was received on arrival. Smooth check in. Room unexpectedly smaller than I thought, but compact, no view but quiet. The breakfast was amazing, well presented, a great range including homemade chocolate (a big treat so early in the morning). Staff bought around refills of coffee and tea. Centrally located near the National Gallery, about 10 minute walk/stroll from the main station through the pedestrian shopping area of town.

Large clean room in excellent central location. Minor issues quickly resolved e.g. safe locked on arrival and TV remote not working.

Start of First Visit to Norway”

Excellent, good staff throughout, relaxed and attentive, clean and attractive, although no evening meal available in restaurant laid on a lovely inclusive buffet in the guest lounge. Location good once we found it from station. Trams and cycle hire outside.
