The Edition is unbelievable. The customer service is beyond compare. The room is comfortable, luxurious and new. I have had spa experiences all over Asia and Europe- but the skill and the service from the Spa here is something many five stars can aspire for. Considering I have no frequent membership customer account with them, they have given me a service that is beyond expectations. The bar manager Miki has taken care of me and I can only say that if you have tried all the five stars and you think you have seen everything- you must come to the Edition in Toranomon and you will have an altogether new level of experience.
Beautiful view of Tokyo view from the tower view room which I stayed during my visit in Tokyo. Tower can be seen at the lobby area and blue room restaurant which serve the daily breakfast and high tea. However there are some minor shortcomings such as service can be improved overall, sharing experience that I am having the morning breakfast at about 9.30am, requested for a change of seat closer with the view of the tower and one the staff in the restaurant replied or "advice" I should come earlier for breakfast if I prefer the table and seats of the tower view which such reply was rather redundant. After asking for the 3rd time another service crew was able to arrange the preferred request. I have received the welcome amenity which is a bottle of champagne. Appreciate the kind gesture but there are no other alternative being offered after letting the front desk know that I didn't open the bottle of champagne. Overall a comfortable stay but fall short of some minor shortcomings, lack of the personal touch and lack of Japan culture (lost feel that I was in Japan in the hotel)
I had a very comfortable stay with the room, services, amenities, and gifts like credits. The breakfast menu was a bit confusing, and I was unsure when ordering, but I felt the quality of the food was high. There were few Japanese staff, so I also enjoyed the feeling of being overseas.
I stayed there for a trip with my father. Great breakfast, room, and hospitality. It was great to see how spacious the room was in Tokyo!! Also, fantastic concierge. NALANI helped us get a reservation at one of the best sushi places. Staffs at breakfast and check-in process were extremely considerate as well.
