They fooled me twice”
Arrived August 31, 2022 at 15:45, booked & paid for Superior Double Room (or 1 Queen Bed but they said the the booking was for Twin Bed Room). Couldn’t change! Ok fine, fooled #1 Apparently It’s only the beginning! Afterwards, they said Room hasn’t ready yet! It was 15:45 and service notes indeed said Check-in time : 14:00. Offered me a Smoking Room if I need to check-in at the time. What??! Do they aware the massive health difference between those 2 floors type? I can only checked-in at 16:35 after 50’ waiting time. For a person who had 8 hours drives, 50’ waiting-time is a very memorable experience in a what-so-called “a 4 stars hotel”. Fooled me twice! The biggest part was we had a 16:30 agenda in other place. Off course, we were late & ruin our mood. Hotel interiors was nice & clean though, breakfast was good, hospitality ok. But perhaps it wasn’t managed as per expected yet, once again for a 4 stars hotel.

It is a good brand new hotel with nice room overlooking the Pekanbaru city. The breakfast was fantastic for the price. Very reasonble price compared to other hotel within the Pekanbaru. Everything is new. Good nice soft bed and flatscreen TV. Staff is very accomodating. Strongly recommend this hotel if we go to Pekanbaru.

Good hotel, close 2 gov offices far from the rest”
I stayed here for 8 nights in Aug 2015. The hotel is well presented, very clean room, good service, well equipped gym. The pool is a little dirty for my liking. The hotel is very close to government offices but far from everything else. But there are plenty of taxis, mini vans and public buses. The nearest shopping mall is Plaza Citra, which is quite basic but it houses one of the three cinemas in Pekanbaru. The choice of restaurant is very limited there. The nearest and nicest restaurant is H Selamat Bebek Goreng (Fried duck), which is located near Plaza Citra. If you like bread and pastry, there's a bakery just next door.

Stayed everytime I'm in Pekanbaru”
The fact that I stayed here everytime I am in Pekanbaru says it all. I've been here for like 5 or 6 times, and used to stay in hotel nearer to the central of the town. But been staying in the Premiere for like 4 times now. As the name implies, it's the premier hotel in pekanbaru.

The Premiere was literally my second home 3 years ago. I stayed in this hotel last week during a recent trip to Pekanbaru. While the overall service was still OK, but I have noticed a slight decrease in it’s quality i.e the food, the reception, the lounge etc. I enjoyed my stay nonetheless. The Premiere is still my favourite hotel in Pekanbaru.

no amenities nearby, therefore have to take a taxi to nearby shopping center. Otherwise everything in the hotel is good. Breakfast spread is good but limited choices. The hotel cafe and room service are the same. i had 3 meals there and it became boring. Spa in the hotel is expensive, can find cheaper ones out of hotel. The service is good, the reservations allowed me to check in at 10am even though their check in time was at 2pm. Overall a good experience, i would choose there again should i visit Pekanbaru again.
