Amazing Stay!”
My family had such a wonderful stay at Miss Sophie’s. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and charming, and William was so helpful upon our arrival. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Want to Visit Again”
My friend and I stayed at the nicholas for 5 nights and it was great. they treated us so great breakfast was tasty and the location was perfect for our trip. Thank you so much for the all the services. One thing to consider is the height. bedroom is on the second floor so it was not easy to go to bathroom during the night. The Nicholas Residence is RECOMMENDABLE.

Nice place, nice people and nice reception”
My prefect journey at Prague was started when I arrived the St Nicholas Hotel where I met Nuno (the manager). He awared that we had taken a long flight from HOng Kong to Czech so we arranged my families to check in earlier at 1030 he’s and invited us to take the breakfast which would be finished at 1100. Nuno then introduced everything in his hotel to us and gave many travelling tips to facilitate our stay in Prague. The hotel itself is located centrally in the beautiful city., every scenic spots is within walking distance so we had visited the Charles Bridge, old town centre, the Lennon wall in different time in the morning, evening and dawn. We made Good use of this locational advantages to have a full dimension viewing of the best of Prague. Another staff I would like to appraise is Almad. He is a cheerful young guy who is actually very willing to help. He found out the best Czech restaurant for us and advised me the best time spot for visiting the mesuems. Come back soon

Superb!!!”
Nicholas hotel was one of the most beautiful hotel i’ve ever been. It’s located right next to St. Nicholas Cathedral and right in front of tram station, surrounded by lots of restaurants. Our room was two storeys room with kitchenette, it was so spacious it can accommodate 4 people. Upon arrival we were greeted with a basket of goodies, a bottle of wine and even a handwritten welcome letter from the manager. The staffs were very very nice and helpful, gave us recommendations about what to eat and what to do in Prague, how to get around, etc. We really enjoyed our stay in Prague and we will definitely book this hotel again should we ever come back to Prague. Totally recommended!

The Nicholas Hotel Residence is ideally situated moments away from the stunning Charles Bridge, with other major attractions like Prague Castle virtually on its doorstep. We were blown away by the care and warmth of the staff - upon arrival, we were greeted with a personalised note from the owner. Our room was cosy, warm and comfortable, with fabulous views of the Little Quarter. If you are looking for unique and comfortable accomodation in the heart of Prague, this is the place!

Dear Judy, It's absolutely wonderful to read your kind words. Thank you so much! That's what we aim for and to have accomplished it means a lot to us. You are more than welcome next time you visit Prague, although the letter will be written by the manager and not the owner, ;-) All the best and safe travels, Nuno Soares Manager
Great location ”
The staff were really welcoming and helpful at the Nicholas Hotel , the double room with kitchenette was perfect , a hand written welcome lettter and a snacks and wine complimentary basket was a nice surprise - they even thought of the weather with an umbrella in the wardrobe which luckily we didn’t need . Lush bathrobes and spa type slippers were provided as well as a fan which we used as the rooms are very toasty . The bed was super comfy and this was a peaceful place right by the 22 tram stop in the centre which in our optinio is the best area in Prague. Just a stones throw from Charles bridge and a short walk from the lovely Kampa area . Definately would stay there again .

Smack-on location just 1 min walk to Charles Bridge”
We reached Prague from Vienna via train, took a tram to Malostranske station... and we got lost. No signs of the hotel entrance nor any signboards. It took us a while to locate the hotel (its entrance is just next to the money changer). the "hotel" itself occupies the top floor of a baroque style building, with a total of 9 rooms in the hotel. We are pleased with the warm and lovely welcome from the hotel manager Mr. Nuno, whom he show us to our room and gave us a quick introduction on the attractions around the hotel/Prague. Over 3 days we walked to Charles bridge (1 min walk from hotel), Lennon wall (5 mins), peeing statue (5 mins), narrowest street in Prague with the traffic light (5 mins), Prague Castle (15 mins). Overall we enjoyed our stay at Nicholas Hotel Residence, a suggestion to the hotel: probably can consider changing different breakfast buffet spread every day? The breakfast spread was limited to breads and cheeses and we had the same food for 3 days straight.

Definitely recommended!”
Sorry for a late comment and we really enjoyed our stay in Praha with Nicholas residence. We were four and live in a suite with kitchen and attic. The two double beds are big enough for 4 of us and the bathroom is good too. The hotel is just about 5 min walk to the Charles bridge and on the way there are supermarkets and nice souvenir shops. The best part for the hotel is that you can have your buffet breakfast just in your suite! The nice staff will supply the breakfast in the table just in front of your door. Everything is sweet. Will definitely come back if we come to Praha again. Thank you Nicholas!

Nice apartment hotel in the very center of an old town square”
This is a small hotel, basically just 10 suites of different size, on the 3rd flow of an old building right next to St Nicholas Church, in the middle of Malostranska Square. The 3rd floor was nicely redone, everything is new, yet you still see old wooden beams that remind you that you are in a historic building. Your windows face the busy square, but with 2 layers of glass, there is no noise when the windows are close - although there is a tram stop next to the building. The sleeping area in my suite was in the attic, just above the living area, with a small set of stairs. This was lovely and unusual - also a great thing if there are more than one person in the room with the different sleeping schedules. There are also small windows in the attic that make the sleeping compound well ventilated. It looks like there is no air conditioning, however, I was staying in the middle of July heat with 32C in the middle of the day and the lack of AC was not a major issue - opening windows in the evening was enough. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. A good benefit of the hotel is a small kitchen corner where you could heat food. There is a small range, a kettle, a fridge, and some choice of free food inside. Fridges are rare in this kind of hotel, it is really great - at least to keep your water cold. Even a welcome bottle of wine! There is no coffee machine in the room, but right outside you have a shared Nespresso machine that makes excellent espressos and lungos. This is available anytime as well as some fruits and pastries. This is also a place whether they bring food for breakfast - you take it and eat in your room. A reasonable choice of cheese, meat, bread, cereal and vegetables also boiled eggs and yogurt. Basic, but just adequate. Finally, you are 10 min away (or one tram stop) from a subway station Malostranska and next to a busy tram line - these trams could bring you almost anyware non-stop. I really liked all of that and it would be my top choice to st

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location”
We loved our trip to Prague, the most beautiful city I have ever visited. This hotel was in a great location within walking distance of many great sights including Prague Castle and The Charles Bridge. It was lovely having what felt like our own apartment with a seating area which looked on to the square which leads on towards the Bridge. The staff were always kind and helpful and we would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to all the staff for our lovely holiday.

This hotel is very impressive and exceptional.”
We spent 2 nights in the Nicholas residence and we feel really like home. Our room is a spacious duplex room where there is a small kitchen and utensils. I really impressed with the receptionist who can speak a very good English and they were also friendly and helpful. Our surprise is that they prepared a special complimentary consisted of wine and snacks for us. The breakfast was catered in front of our room so we could just grab the food and privatedly eat in our room. Nothing to complain. We just feel like home and did not want to leave the place.... :)

One word: Awesome!”
Definitely one of the best hotel/apartment stay I had during my 1.5 months Europe tour! It is within walking distance to all the tourist attractions, including the old town square, the Prague castle/st. Vitus cathedral and Petrin hill. The staff were extremely welcoming, and even dropped us a welcome note on the day we arrived. As for the room, we were extremely pleased with the spacious apartment we get, that is equipped with a kitchenette as well as a attic bedroom. There was also a complementary basket of snacks and wine provided in the room! We wished we could stay there longer!!!

A very nice hotel with very warm welcome from the staff The hotel room is near to the Charles' Bridge and is a traditional one. We booked one double bedroom but turn out that the hotel provides us with a triple bedroom with an attic. The bedroom is super wonderful with a small kitchen, a living room, a small dining room and two bedrooms. Every thing is very good!!! Will definitely go back to this hotel when I back to Prague later.

Great Location but House-Keeping Service needs some improvement :) ”
We checked in late from Vienna to Prague. Ali, was on shift that night. He is a young and bubbly gentleman and he assisted us in checking in and showed us places we should check out (in the map). He saw there are x6 of us, all adults, so he welcomed us with x2 bottles of local red wines :) The mattress were all in good condition and it's firm enough to support people with back problem. The location of this hotel apartment is really GREAT! It's walking distance to many attractions and the trams & buses are just right in front of the hotel. Very easy access to everywhere including taking metro. The only thing we feel that is not so good is that there's only one bathroom, and the house-keeping ladies didn't bother to replenish the hair & body shampoo for us when we had finished using one set of that within the first night (coz there are x6 of us). We thought they will replenish the following day, but No.....We stayed there for x3 nights. Luckily we brought our own toiletries, otherwise we will have to shower without shampoo. There are only x2 pairs of slippers but there are x6 of us. Again, house-keeping ladies did not replenish for us!! There's a loft in our apartment, my brothers are sleeping there. They found out that the House-keeping ladies did not went up to tidy up their duvets as long as we stayed there. With the amount we paid for, we do expect the house-keeping service to be at the great level. However, it happens to be the opposite. So i guess, the hotel management needs to train the house-keeping ladies to have more initiative in replenishing the shampoos and slippers and at least bother to tidy the sheets at the loft. Nevertheless, we still left some tips for the house-keeping ladies (hopefully they will bother to replenish things for the next hotel guests). Best Regards, Suzanne

Real Prague Feel”
What a great location and staying here you really are part of old Prague. It's great walking back to the hotel and seeing others photograph it (and its background of course.) Staff are the most pleasant, relaxed and helpful you could wish for. Duplex room (room 3) had great views and was comfortable. The mini-kitchen facility in our room was useful and the free fridge mini bar and welcome bottle of wine a nice touch.

Picturesq! ”
I love this hotel so much. Location wise, it was the best. It's beside a church, starbucks, atm and a money changer. The area was perfect and picturesq! Restaurants are within walking distance also. I love their breakfast and 24 hr coffee and pastries per floor. Their rooms are big enough for the whole family with matching welcome letter, free wine and free mini bar. I would definitely stay in this hotel when i get a chance to visit prague again!
