A family friendly environment”
I was traveling with my wife and my one year old daughter, the location was what attracted me the most. It is close to the beach but it has a few pool area where I feel safe. The room is very nice, cozy and homey. Though when I stayed they were fixing the boiler room, having showered past the designated time it was no problem because you need cold water when you visit Bali. The resort is also close to the main road where all the mini markets are located. The breakfast menu is nice and simple, just what we were after. If only we had more time to spare, we would've booked an extra night

Rooms were well maintained each day and closeness to good restaurants within walking distance , plenty of bars and local outlets just accross the road and great local spas , in particular 'la luna' spa down the road from resort and it is air conditioned too, also great prices for all treatments!

Perfect Location”
The Jayakarta is in a perfect spot in Legian. So much around it, shopping, bars and beautiful legian beach. Breakfasts were delicious and staff service overall was great. The hotel is quite old thou and is in need of a revamp.

This hotel has upsides and down sides. It is in a great location. The deluxe rooms are great but do not get one of the apartments at back of hotel they are very old and musty. I can’t believe they are still there. The grounds are lovely with beanbags on big lawn. The pools are great but if u don’t claim your seat by 7 am forget about sitting on a chair. A lot of people put towels down very early and didn’t sit down till avo which was very frustrating. It would be better if the pool attendants policed this. The drinks around pool here are way more expensive than other hotels. The breakfast was lavish. I would come back again definitely

Stayed in superior room. Although this hotel is old it’s value for money. Location is fantastic right on the beach. Staff are very friendly. Huge grounds. Only down side, we were in Bali in January & the pools were very warm.

Affordable and great location”
Missing a few things such as hair dryer and adapter, was disappointing that pool bar was not in operation however understandable due to COVID-19 and hotel not at capacity. Very clean. Excellent location. Would have liked the safety deposit box to be in our room. Also water not very hot. But not too much of a drama due to the warm weather. Staff always friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Returning to life after Covid”
Was a little disappointed that the first room we were given didn't accommodate our request for a double bed. However, staff managed to find us a room with a double bed. Our bathroom tap was leaking (I reported it, but I don't think it was ever fixed). Breakfast food was good, staff were very friendly. Excellent location with the beach right outside and good restaurants close by. Bali is slowly coming back to life after Covid and not having visitors. Please be mindful of that and follow their requirements for mask wearing, showing vaccination status as if you were in your own country.

Loved it at the Jayakarta, the staff were always so prompt and helpful. Location is great, easy to walk out the beach and close to all the shops, spas, restaurants and ATMs. Rooms are good, beds comfortable. Will stay here again

Perfect location - backs directly onto the beach”
The hotel is old and could do with a good upgrade but for what you pay and for it to be right on the beach, you can't complain. We were unhappy with a few things about the room they put us in (like I said, it's old) but they went out of their way to find us a room which we were happy with. The staff were very friendly. The hotel has the beach to the back of it and a whole array of shops, bars, restaurants to the front. Perfect location. Note - they don't provide safes or hairdryers in your room.
