It was a wonderful stay. Staying at the Villa was great. The size of the pool is big enough to swim. Day bed is comfortable, nice place to have a nap. We got a big Gecko in the room, then four staff came to help us. Their Spa was excellent. Welcome massage was such a nice surprise! Only 15 minutes but that was a great massage. We also did facial and aromatherapy massage. Our skin got really smooth and moisture. We love their breakfast. They cook after we order, which is very nice. We are totally satisfied our stay atThe Bale!

We had a good time at the Balé. The surrounding of the villa is quiet and location is near the beach. An additional service provided is the free Transport around Nusa Dua ! This makes it more convenient to get around be it sightseeing, eating or shopping! Impeccable service by the staff in the villa and breakfast is amazing. Look forward to staying at the Balé again.

I can't wait to go back one day. It offers one of the best services . The place needs a bit of TLC in the bathrooms but when you are treated as they do these things are minor. The breakfast is top notch and the best are the people serving you.

We chose The Bale to celebrate our anniversary. They have no children policy, so you definitely can expect ultimate serenity without any disturbance. The room was spacious, loving the private pool and huge daybed. They prepare rose petals and anniversary cake for us when we arrived. They also have free airport transfer, with cold drinks and fresh fruit to welcome you. The bed is a bit too firm for my liking but I slept well though, I supposed the whole ambience really relaxes us to the max. The staffs are all lovely and helpful. All in all, we love our stay in The Bale and would love to come back in the future.

Elegantly simple surroundings with warm service ”
i'm glad i stayed at the bale for my first trip to bali. months before my booking, the hotel rep and i were already emailing each other and so i knew they wanted to please me as a customer. i just picked the hotel based on reviews and pictures of the hotel when i googled it- it was exactly to my liking since i love white, clean and elegantly simple surroundings. the staff did everything to try to satisfy our needs and prepared a seafood meal on our last day as a special request of my husband. i gathered from the reviews that there was a bit of a problem about mosquitoes but as it turned out, i even returned the mosquito net i requested. of course there were mosquitoes out esp. in the resto faces at night when we had dinner, but that's to be expected. it's something i'm used to in my own country; i had my mosquito repellant lotion ready anyway. i have already been recommending the hotel to friends who go for private and restful vacations; and the bale is perfect for these. unlike those huge hotels like the st.regis, marriot, four seasons, etc., the bale is not for people who want to be where the action is, like me. in all, my bali vacation was the ideal experience which i attribute to my perfect choice of a hotel.

We stayed 5 days in October 2017 in The Bale at Nusa Dua. It was stunning. There are only pool villas. The private pool was gorgeous. I have never seen a pool for your own in this dimension. The whole villa is huge with a extra bed in the garden, so you can also sleep in the garden. Perfect room service. They clean the villas twice a day. The hotel staff was also very helpful. We had a great time. We can surely recommend The Bale to everyone who loves private luxury.

Clean, open space seems to be the theme of the resort. The design is minimalist but luxurious, making use of glass, wood, marble, clean lines and sheer space. Even though this resort is at least 6 years old, it still feels modern. Most of the walls are glass from floor to ceiling, giving you views of the pool, gardens and grounds outside. For privacy, there are high exterior walls, so we never felt like we could be seen by the outside world. Villa amenities are definitely luxury standard: - The private pool is huge and can be accessed directly from the bathroom. - There is a comfy bath for 2 in an alcove of the bathroom, with bath oils, salts and foam provided. The bathroom is as large as small hotel room with separate rain shower and outdoor shower. - Outdoor bale & queen-sized day bed for lounging. This is in addition to a set of deck chairs on the lawn for sunbathing. - There is a 2 page breakfast menu with a selection of Asian and international dishes, tea, coffee, juice and smoothies, from which you can order multiple dishes to eat in your villa. - Small treats like cookie jar, fresh fruit, complimentary minibar (all refilled daily), and handmade fragrant soaps. We had no problems with mosquitoes, which is odd for Bali. We saw a total of 10 other guests while we were there, despite it being full. It felt like we had the whole property to ourselves. Service-wise, this resort is truly top notch. We arrived before the standard check in time, so the front desk manager offered us complimentary massages and personally brought us to the pool to wait for our villa. The hotel manager also came to personally make sure we were okay. All of the staff were extremely friendly, obliging and polite.

Relaxing get away vacation ”
It's a elegant and relaxing villa, perfect for a get away vacation for couples. It's peaceful and quiet if you don't like crowds. Enjoy breakfast in your own private villa with nature around or counting the stars at your own pool side with some liquor and snacks. Do a morning spa or a evening stress free spa to treat yourself nicely. But do remember to do the reservation for the spa or it'll be fully booked soon. They also provide free transportation to anywhere within the nusa dua area :) if you need anything anytime they got the 24 hr butler to fulfill your needs. We really enjoy the time staying here and will definitely go back again :)

Excellent and the service level was superb!”
We were celebrated our 20th anniversary at The Bale. It was our first trip to Bali and to make sure that things will be smooth, we made a contact to the hotel through email to highlight our concern and expectations. It took a few hours to response to our email and it really made us exited. We were a bit nervous on to what to expect when we first reached the airport. Though there was a little hiccup when the driver was not around when we arrived at the airport, it wasn't a big deal as it probably due to the last minute change of our flight schedule. The moment we reached the hotel, the feeling turned so good as we were greeted by the staff and Pak Dewa escorted us through the hotel compound and took us the pavilion 33. Complete explanation on the facilities and everything about the pavilion that made us so comfort and delighted. There on, everything was perfect and we must say thank you for your great hospitality and the surprise for our anniversary, the cake and roses on our bed!

Great hotel and food was great”
My girlfriend and I was very pleased with our stay at the Bale Hotel. We had a great time with the arrangements the hotel provided such as rafting and sightseeing. We enjoy the privacy and modern design in the hotel. We would highligh the food quality, we especailly enjoyed the in-rooom breakfast at no extra cost. Although everything is great, there is still room for improvement. 1) Provide chargers to guests, my Blackberry was out of battery during my stay and the hotel could not assist. 2) Spa - we love the spa treatment but the room was not well maintained. Also we have to walk to the jacuzzi in the other room after the treatment. Even though, lunch is included. 3) Mosquito - not sure if it is due to the constructions outside but the room is full of mosquitos must of the time.

it was our first time going to bali, and we were to be celebrating our anniversary there. we were looking for a chilled out spot away from the busy kuta, and the bale was absolutely perfect. service was always 100%, the staff were personable and knew your names/which room you were staying at. the rooms were kept impeccably clean and even the private plunge pools were cleaned every morning. the spa is also fantastic, with great views - and you get a nice private spot on the beach

It's definitely one of the best vacations my husband and I had! Nusa Dua may be slightly far away from the main streets but everything from The Bale is just so perfect that distance is no longer an issue. Relaxing luxury couples only private villas”
Very relaxing environment, staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast menu was sophisticated and delicious, villa's were beautifully designed, private pool and day bed very enjoyable, Pantai Geger local beach is a great Bali beach and the beach club is very convenient (e.g. able to order amazing cheap food and drinks and have it billed back to the hotel, supplied with towels, bottles of water, sunscreen). Would highly recommend The Bale for couples looking to escape the overly touristy side of Bali, wanting relaxation and a nice local beach. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect villa experience”
This is my fourth time in Bali. Last year I stayed at the Kayumanis in Nusa Dua. It was a good experience but the experience at the Balé was better. The food at Faces and Tapas were delicious. The goat cheese ravioli was to die for!!!!!! The breakfast was a feast. The menu was very well thought out with a great selection of healthy options. Even though The Balé is an older resort, the management has done an excellent job in keeping the place in great shape. I love the pool. It's Yuge. We will definitely be back!

Absolute bliss! ”
We spent the perfect last 3 days of our honeymoon at the Balè - wish we had come for longer. We are frequent travelers and we say a resort should be a place which one doesn't want to or have to leave during his stay: so this was the Balè! Architecturally beautiful setting, spacious and private villa with warm (!) pool and lots of amenities, very attentive and friendly staff: I only told one of the colleagues that I was not allowed to eat sugar and as of that moment everyone was aware (so they paid attention at the meals to what I ate, didn't bring me sugary drinks at the spa). The breakfast is sublime, a great choice of food, my best egg-breakfast ever (the Balè Benedict), super smoothies. Kitchen staff very friendly (they also prepare your wishes and come talk to the guests!), spa staff very professional - massages and treatments are heavenly! We also tried yoga which was great too, with a master of long experience who laid attention to individual needs. Management is just as it should be (not only because they greet the guests personally, but you see it on staff interaction and how they solve client requests). Hotel has a nice beach club too, with delicious local and international meal from a nearby foodstall. Conciergerie fantastic too! We can only ever recommend and can't wait to save up and come back!:-)

Room 8 is close to the road and lots of noise early in the morning. Mosquitoes 🦟 were plentiful in the room... The Beach club is poor so give that a miss and just hang out at your pool 🏊 villa which is great way to relax. The complimentary car drop off / pick up service around Nusa Dua is good. Breakfast 🍳 ☕️ is top notch 😊 have the French toast 🥞 and green smoothie.
