the location and apartment were excellent - the surrounding area also - and it suited my plans very well. the shared roof terrace is amazing!
i had to pay extra to have somebody meet me with the keys - NOK 300 ... which was a bit strange.

Property located in a very prestigious area of Oslo. Nearby cafes and restaurants, supermarket and shops. The apartment is located on 10th floor in a relatively new building (2010). You have all the facilities needed, including dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and electric kettle. The apartment is well kept, relatively spacious and cosy. You have a balcony with a table and 2 seats. The service was pleasant.
Privacy is an issue. The windows have a view on the canteen of an office building across the street. As soon as you open the curtains you’re immediately observed by the office workers. On Friday evenings it also gets a bit loud as the area is popular. It would be better if they’d provide more dishwasher tablets, shampoo, etc. As for longer stays (more than 3 days) the given amount won’t be enough so you have to buy those yourself.

The only good thing is the location. Outside you feel like you're at a 5-star trendy place. But as soon as you step inside it's hostel living standard. So unfair!!
It's a luxury apparent complex, but there is nothing luxury about the interior and equipment of the actual apparent I stayed at, on the 7th Floor of Kanalen 3. Why can't the Appartment Company/owner, have a decent sized ironing board? There was a miniature one which is completely not fit for purpose! No hairdryer provided. Sofa is THE most uncomfortable one I've ever seen in my life. Interior all have quality of second-hand or from thrift store purchased. And I mean ALL: from sofa, to lounge carpet, coffee table, tv table, bed, microwave, cofee machine, kettle, cutlery, pots and pans. No Privacy in the bedroom as the middle white curtain was missing, and the view is directly facing an office building, where people can look directly into your property. The Appartments Company customer service was good and bad. There was only 1 person on shift on the day, in the middle of a busy summer season when all of their apartments are fully booked!!! So you were clearly impactes by the stress of the staff member, and I felt bad for reporting issues. Such as on day 1 problems with property wifi, but luckily that was fixed after a few hours. The understaffed customer service continued during my 2-weeks stay there, and it resulted in them not following up on additional requests made in a timely manner. Which unfortunately again just adds up to the uncomfortable experience.

Modernes Stadtapartment in toller Lage mit Verbesserungspotenzial”

Das Apartment im 9. Stock ist groß, mit Balkon zum Nachbargebäude (ohne Weitblick) und mit Küche im Wohnbereich. Schönes geräumiges Bad mit - wie immer - leckender Duscharmatur. Kücheneinrichtung trotz vieler Schränke spartanisch. Angenehm großes Wohnzimmer. Im 12 Stock eine Dachterasse mit atemberaubenden Blick auf Oslo und den Fjord. Die Betten waren breit und bequem. Die Lage im 2010 erbauten Apartmenthaus unmittelbar in der Nähe des Wassers und dem abwechslungsreichen Einkaufs- und Kneipenviertel Top! Der Checkout war problemlos.
Der Checkin war nicht ganz einfach. Das Apartment war nicht fertig, was kein Problem war, aber es wurde nicht kommuniziert. Schlüssel erhielten wir vom Reinigungspersonal, bekamen also keine weiteren Erläuterungen. Wo der Müll hin sollte und wie er zu trennen war, wurde uns zunächst nicht mitgeteilt. Das norwegische Wort für Müllraum kannten wir auch nicht. Wir mussten daher Bewohner fragen. Abstellplatz für unsere E-Bikes im Hause gab es nicht. Sie mussten draußen stehen bleiben. Das war nicht so schön. Parken im nahegelegenen Parkhaus (Tiefgarage) war zwar mit der EasyPark App problemlos möglich aber sündhaft teuer. Eine vernünftige Alternative ist kaum möglich, weil man ja ein- und auspacken muss.
