Perfect Views, Perfect Location”

Myself and my husband stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel for only one night, and we both wish we could have stayed longer! The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate our early check in as well as answer any questions we had about Zurich. We decided to choose the lake view room and it was well worth the price. The views are spectacular and allow you to take in the scenery from the luxury of your own balcony. The room was spacious with lots of areas for storage, and was well-maintained and clean. The location was ideal and was an easy walking distance to cafes, shops, and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel, and look forward to returning for another stay.

We visited this hotel in early July. It was quite hot and the rooms do not have air conditioning. We had to keep the window open which leads to the road noise. I believe a four star hotel should have air conditioning. Secondly, they limit the coffee, milk, sugar etc in the room for one helping. Many of us would wish to have it more often. Of course, they were kind enough to provide it on request. But it would be helpful if they put more quantities as you would notice in most hotels in India, South East Asia etc. Barring these, it was a very enjoyable stay and the hotel staff spoke good English and very helpful for advice about sightseeing etc.

Pleasant, clean modern hotel”

I requested a separate shower as I am disabled, our allotted room did not comply but was remedied by reception promptly. Some of the room lights did not work but were repaired as soon as reported. The large bed was 2 separate beds and made up individually with quite a space in the middle, admittably it was comfortable.A very nice hotel and well located

Weekend in Zurich”

A 4-star hotel with staff providing 7-star service!! Everything was perfect about the hotel except for the entrance and lobby. Pictures were deceiving.

Simply one of the best views in XZurich”

This is a good hotel with spectacular views of the lake and the city.

Forget the gym”

Clean smallish room, but lovely outlook over Zurichsee, and location is good also. If you have any intentions of using the gym, it is a token gym with about three pieces of equipment, no weights, and in a small room. Sauna is good.

The view of the lack is beutiful but the room amenties is so limited, the staff service is good

Es wurde 24 Stunden vor der Anreise online ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Wir erhielten ein Einzelzimmer! Nach Protest an der Rezeption und ewigem Warten auf eine Lösung ( ständiges Suchen im PC ) nach was???? entschuldigte sich die Mitarbeiterin mit der Bemerkung. Ich bin relativ neu hier und kenne mich noch nicht so gut aus. Von den Zimmern hatte sie offensichtlich keinerlei Ahnung. Auch ihre Kollegin suchte und suchte und suchte nach einem freien Doppelzimmer. Insgesamt dauerte der Zirkus 35 Minuten, denn mein Mann hatte das komplette Gepäck bereits mit in des Einzelzimmer genommen, dass ja als Doppelzimmer von der Rezeption angeboten wurde. Also auch hier wieder Kehrtwendung und zurück in das Doppelzimmer.Hilfestellung beim Gepäck gab's keine, denn es war kein Gepäckservice da. Ein Restaurant existierte schon nicht mehr. In unseren Augen hat das Hotel komplett abgewirtschaftet. Wie wir erfuhren, ständiger Inhaberwechsel. Für uns kein Steigenberger Hotel mehr, andere Hotelketten arbeiten professioneller.

Brezžična in hitra internetna povezava zadovolji tudi zahtevne uporabnike. Prijazno osebje, ki je pripravljeno ponuditi vse potrebne informacije. Kljub predčasnemo prihodu, je bila soba že pripravljena, čeprav je bil hotel polnozaseden. Zagotovo se še vrnemo.
