Good for one night stay”
Travelled from Bromo to Banyuwangi, it's located just right in front of the train station. Owner was very friendly and helped to book Ijen trip for 300k (including transport, gas mask, tour guide, 1 bottle of water and snack after the hike) Booked the dorm room, only myself were there hence got the whole room for myself Can be quite hot as there's only 1 fan and isn't rotating. Mosquito in the room can be quite annoying Bathroom is very basic. All in all, if you just need a place to sleep for a night, this will do

Friendly host, just opposite train station”
Location is great, just opposite the train station Karangasem (Banyuwangi Kota). We took twin room with fan and outside toilet. No hot water, but host provided mosquitoes coils, blanket and towel. Host and their relative are frindy, so we felt welcoming especially since we travelled during corona time. Room is quite spacious, beds are comfortable enough and clean. Price to buy stuffs in their shop is also not overpriced according to Indonesian standards local price. If we're back to Banyuwangi, surely we'll consider to stay in Sritanjung again.

Perfect for Ijen tour”
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us quick with the booking of a Ijen tour (350K on a Sunday). It was a nice stay for one night.

Agoda must make sure that hotel knew the book”
When I arrive the person do not know and want me to show the booked from Agoda. And when opened the room were so dirty. Many tiny cockroaches .. I am disappointed. So I cancel my 2 rooms

Can't recommend it, it's cheap but they have no good facilities, you don't feel very comfortable, wifi was not working in my room, you don't feel very safe with the backdoors to public area...

Lovely Homestay with friendly staff”
The homestay is right accross banyuwangi station, you can rent a scooter for 75K, they have snacks (cookies / bananas tea etc) for free. You can ask for towels if you want. The only thing i missed was a blanket in the room. From this place to kawa ijen by scooter is 1 hr, you can rent gas mask & torch with them, they are really friendly. My scooter had a flat tire and they came immediately to replace the scooter. Terima kasih.

Very cheap and very clean. Some rooms with own bathroom. We stay there for 2 nights to make the ijen. Next to the homestay is a possibility to rent a scooter and the homestay is next to the trainstation. Would definitely recommend it if you just want to make the ijen in Banyuwangi.

The place is literally in front of the train station so it can’t be more perfect when you’re coming for Ijen. The place is definitely clean. The whole family is super nice but a big thumb up to Indra and Linda that make us feel really good. There were super friendly and very accommodating, especially because I thought there was hot shower everywhere but actually no, the shared bathroom only had cold water so when I asked them about it they offered me to wait until the private room/bathroom was available after check out and let me shower there. That’s customer service :) They rented us scooters and masks for Ijen, and let us sleep a little bit after check out the next day. Would recommend 100% and would definitely go there if in Banyuwangi again. Thank you for everything!!!

Amazing place to stay for Ijen”
The family that owns this homestay was happy, responsive and extremely helpful. They will take the time to make sure you are comfortable and answer all of your questions if going to Ijen + their tour was AMAZING. The homestay is right across from the train station and the rooms have a unique dispersed layout for intimacy and quiet. Brought tea and snacks upon arrival. Recommended local places to eat. Great communication all around!

Great stay for Ijen Tour”
This homestay is good if you are going to do a Ijen tour. We did the Ijen tour organised by this homestay. A fair price of 350k (weekend price - weekday is 300k) gave us transport to and back from Ijen and a guide with a flashlight and a gasmask. The tour was beautiful. The homestay self is very basic but given the price very good. The staff is superkind!!

Perfect for mt. Ijen tour”
If you want a nice and cheap accomodation for doing a tour to mount ijen it is absolutely perfect. The family of the homestay is very nice, they showed us were we can get good food, organized the mount ijen tour (which was btw sooo nice!), brought us to a luwak coffee farm, which was informative and delicious and is nearby, etc. We would recommend this, for 1-2 nights :) the rooms are really big and we even had our own terrace!
