This is a good choice for budget travellers wanting to stay in the quiet and pretty sea-side suburb of Miraflores. Even though it's a small neighbourhood there was enough ‘night-life’ activity for the few days we were based in Lima. The nearby Parque Kennedy always seemed to have something to watch and enjoy in the warm evenings: live music and locals dancing, snack-sellers, a jewellery/craft market, art gallery and church all right round this lovely park. The hotel rooms were simple but comfortable for the price; just a little noisy with traffic at night, so ask for a quiet room if they have one.

This Miraflores hotel was well-located with plenty of good eating places and shopping/ craft markets in walking distance. Plus it was cheap enough to catch taxis to the busy historic area and downtown area of Lima. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful with hailing taxis, maps and sightseeing recommendations. The simple but fresh,generous breakfast was good value for money.

Ideally located in the heart of Miraflores”

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during our stay in Lima. The hotel is very centrally located in the Miraflores district which is regarded as the safest area for tourists. It is only one block from the central Kennedy Park with an abundance of local shops and restaurants. It is a 20 minute walk to the pre-Inca site of Huaca Pacllana and approximately 45 minutes to Central Lima. It is also close to the coast. The hotel and room were comfortable with hot showers and wifi. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. Though the food was decent, the service was badly managed with frequent queues building up, uncleared tables and an unattentive waitress.

Las Palmas was a fairly basic yet clean and comfortable hotel, and serves as a good base in Miraflores to see the city. Wifi is slow and unreliable.

i was received by front desk receptionist and since that everything ran fluently. my stay was always comfortable and nobody was harrassing me with bad hotel policies or rules. all was great. breakfast was not so diverse but was very decent and convenient regarding the price since is included. also they have an excellent wifi signal within the room so was very important to continue doing my business even if i was in a vacation trip

Amazing location”

The best part of this hotel is its location; you are right in the middle of the action, by Parque Kennedy with so many restaurants and bars at night. The catch, which was mentioned by others, is that it is terribly noisy at weekends. Knowing this in advance I was glad to have brought ear plugs with me and slept fine then. Breakfast was great, staff were helpful and the room was fine for the price.

Earplugs Necessary”

More fresh fruit and yogurt would improve breakfast. Staff was always helpful and efficient. But noise from the neighbourhood bars either kept us tossing and turning or forced us to wear earplugs almost every night until 3 AM. Miraflores city signs suggest: Less noise, more respect. A great message but the city obviously does not get the message when bars can play music at wall-shaking volumes until the wee hours.Maybe the hotel owners should talk to the mayor. Because one pays premium prices for a good sleep in Miraflores, this problem should be addressed.

Located at the tourist area in Lima”

The room itself is a very "regular" "standard" kind rectangle shape room. Kind of small but clean. Location is good. It is at the heart of Miraflores, Lima. Supermarket, good restaurants (cheap to expensive), bars nearby. Internet in the cafe is fast but slow in the room. Bad thing is no drinking water supplied in the room. Free breakfast is so-so. Rate is reasonable in Miraflores area but you may get a better deal in other area in Lima.

Excellent location, small room”

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The room was small, not proper place to suitcases but once you got used to it everything functioned well. We like to use internet in our own room and this wi-fi was the best met in South America. Miraflores is a nice surrounding and this hotel was close to everything: restaurants, bars, shops, manicure, pedicure...

The hotel is a lovely building with great staff who are friendly and helpful.The rooms are good with decent beds however at times you can hear the outside noise especially on a weekend night. The free breakfast was great with real juice and good coffee.

stayed 3 nights at this hotel, very efficient check-in. i didnt have a print of my voucher, but that didnt slow the process down. nice and clean room, and all what to expect from a three star property. fast and reliable wifi-connection.

A great place to stay right in the heart of Miraflores. Make sure you ask for an internal room away from the street - it is very noisey on the weekends! Breakfast is very nice. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great location but dated rooms”

The hotel is a prime location for young, single people who plan to spend more time outside their hotel versus in it. For the price, the rooms are fair and the water in the showers is hot. The furniture and bathrooms are dated but they function well. The wi-fi signal only works in the lobby. We were very impressed with the proximity of the entertainment just seconds away from the hotel.

this hotel is located in miraflores, second most important section of lima. good location, easy walk to the ocean, and it many shops and restaurants. about half an hour from the lima airport. staff spoke little english as most of the restaurnts and shops around the area. no air cond in the rooms, so if you are here in the summer , good luck.
