The front staff were all very kind and helpful, which was much appreciated. The location was also very convenient, with Kayabacho Station just a one-minute walk away. Additionally, Nihonbashi Station was about a 10-minute walk away, and with the Asakusa Line from Nihonbashi Station, it was very convenient to go to both Narita and Haneda airports without any transfers. For people like me who struggle with large luggage on stairs, I recommend using the D3 exit at Nihonbashi Station. It was also great that breakfast was available for free on the first floor at Pronto. Among the options, the asagopan was by far the most delicious! I would definitely like to use this hotel again in the future!

The value is on par with what you get. While I would recommend this place, there were some things I learned. The staff were professional and friendly however, their English is enough for the basics. They are there to assist however it is a self-check in and self-check out by using the machines. You do not get the same benefits as a registered member in terms of a late check out. Check out is at 11 but members get an extra hour for free. Otherwise, 1,000 yen will be charged upon checkout. You can leave your luggage with the front staff and there are lockers if you’d like your belongings more secured. Same day laundry is available but you have to pay for it upon pickup. Not a deal breaker but I had to run back to my room to fetch my wallet because I assumed I could charge it to my room. There is a mandatory cleaning every 2 or 3 days. I was left a note a couple of times slipped under my door to leave the cleaning card out. I am used to only requesting for cleaning in other hotels. I had left the hotel for a couple of days to go to Osaka and returned with the note. The included breakfast is very basic. You choose from a set menu which is a sandwich, hotdog, or croissant with a coffee. The rooms are clean but tiny so don’t expect to have much room to lay out your things especially if you plan to do a lot of shopping or if there’s two of you. Don’t expect to raise your arms up too high in the shower. Again, these are not deal breakers but some observations as a first-timer used to slightly larger accommodations. I love that there’s a subway access, 7/11, Lawsons, Family Mart, and a delicious udon place just around the corners. There are a couple of vending machines right across the street, which I found convenient, if you’d like a beverage but you’ll need to use cash or get a Pasmo or Suica card that you can get on your Apple Wallet. If you want to take a taxi or Uber, it’s only a 20-30 minute drive to other major tourist destinations. I liked how there is a smoking room. Also, I didn’t realize this until I left but there is a place you can microwave food. But overall, a good place to stay. Can’t wait to go back.

We requested to be moved to another room, but as the hotel was fully booked and it was late at night, this wasn’t possible. Instead, we were given an antiseptic solution and two bottles of water. The following day, we reported the issue again, and the staff promptly cleaned everything. We had a much better experience for the rest of our stay.

So for my first ever stay in the inner city of Tokyo, I was pleasantly surprised about the accomodations provided at Sotetsu Fresa Inn. I knew going in the room would be smaller in general but I was able to adjust and make due. Overall the stay was quite pleasant and the complimentary breakfast in the Pronto Cafe on the 1st Floor was just light enough to start the day but not deter the appetite when I came to sampling the amazing food Tokyo has to offer. The bed was comfortable and the room service was quite efficient. The Sotetsu Fresa Inn is located a short walk away from Kayabacho Station on the Hibiya Line and very convenient to get to other stations as well. I would definitely recommend this location for any travelers looking for a reasonably priced stay not far from Tokyo Station.

This is a great hotel for the price I paid. It's only a minute walk away from Kayabacho Station and walking distance to Tokyo Station. Multiple restaurants and convenience stores are within walking distance as well. The room and bathroom were clean, no weird, smoky or moldy smells. Room service was done upon request and was on point. Love the bidet in the bathroom, which included bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It was nice to shower in hot water when the weather's cold. Amenities it has includes hair dryer, humidifier, fridge, WiFi, and more. If you need other amenities, they offer at the lobby, such as razors, facial wash, shower caps, face lotion, shaving cream, hair ties, Q-tips, and more. I actually forgot to bring Q-tips and was glad they had some. There's also a weighing scale in the lobby and you can request for more items like a pillow, curling iron, etc. Although there is an extra charge, laundry service is available. The price included breakfast which was enjoyable and delicious. You can select from one of six different options and a choice of one drink. Water with ice was free. The process to check in and check out was easy, and staff will hold your luggages for you if you arrive before the check-in time. Overall, I had no issues at all during my stay. I even emailed them before my trip to confirm booking, and they emailed me back pretty quickly. The only downsides I saw were that the room was small. I couldn't really open my luggage; I had to put it on the bed. There also wasn't any view from my hotel window. But these honestly were very minor and completely manageable. I highly recommend this place and don't mind staying here again on my next trip.
