I made a reservation with the plan to stay until I found a room to rent while coming to Japan for study, and overall it was fine. First of all, the elevator is on the 2nd floor, so to take the elevator, you have to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor. It would be good for those carrying heavy suitcases to keep this in mind. The hygiene of the room was generally clean, and the shared toilet in the hallway did not smell and was tidy. The shower room on the basement floor consisted of two private rooms and one shared bathroom, which made it convenient to use. It was clean as well. One disappointing point is that there are rooms where the Wi-Fi does not work. In particular, the room I stayed in was the farthest from the router near the emergency stairs, so I had to crouch in the emergency stairs when using my laptop or watching YouTube. This might not be an issue for travelers who plan to buy a SIM card, though. The elderly owner kindly explained everything. However, please be careful if you are not good at Japanese because she only speaks Japanese. Other than the internet not working well, I was very satisfied with my stay.
First of all, the location is just a perfect walking distance to the station! It's already close enough, but personally, I like to walk around during my travels, so I racked up some steps, haha. And the designated smoking area, shower facilities, nearby attractions, and the friendly guidance were all so great. Some people say there’s a smell in the hallway, but I didn’t notice it at all; it was probably just the smell of someone eating ramen or something at that time. The downside is that the shower time is quite limited; you can't shower after 8 AM, so you have to wake up early to wash up. But with this price, are these kinds of downsides really a problem? Even that downside feels like a luxury! I felt very satisfied!!
Thank you for all your help. It's kind and easy to stay at, and I think it's particularly convenient for foreigners who have occasional reasons to go to Nagoya! A lovely and charming owner will be waiting for you, so please do come.
I would recommend this place for those who are looking for a reasonable option just to stay overnight. There are no pajamas, so you need to bring your own, but there are bath towels and toothbrushes available, and you can take a shower almost anytime in the basement. You can enter and exit freely 24 hours, so as long as you can arrive between the check-in hours of 5 PM to 11 PM, it's fine. The older woman at the reception was also very gentle and explained everything carefully. I was able to sleep well, and I would like to use this place again if I have the chance! Thank you!

“It's fairly good for a solo male trip.”
It's very cheap, close to the station, and easily accessible for meals, so it's highly rated. Here are the details. Upon entering, there is a reception area in front where a friendly lady explained the facilities. The service exceeded the price. I went up to the second floor via the stairs and took the elevator at the end of the hallway to my room's floor. The hallway on the second floor had a bad smell. The room size and bed were commensurate with the price. There were no desks or chairs. The smell was quite bothersome. Opening the window helped to some extent. The sheets had some stains. I had brought a bath towel myself, so I used it to cover the pillow and sleep. The amenities included a bath towel and toothbrush, which was helpful. The bath is located on the basement floor accessible by the elevator, right in front of it. There are two shower rooms and one large bath, so I don’t think you’ll have trouble with the number of showers. There were body soap, shampoo, and soap available. A hairdryer was also provided. Next to the bath, there was a smoking area. Given the very low price, I am grateful that there is even a shower room available.
