Where to stay in Shinbashi
Shinbashi hotels & accommodations

I stayed in Dai-ichi hotel with wife in November 2012, and must say that it is a fabulous hotel. The hotel is big by Tokyo standards, with even a huge bathroom (shower stall and bathtub). Also, we had a spectacular view of the Tokyo Tower, as well as the Shinbashi area, which was great. The main greatness of this hotel was the convenience - (1) Transport convenien...

We booked a 25m² size room and quite comfortable for 3 persons. When checked-in the staff were courteous and spoke very fluent English. Location-wise, it’s about 10min walk from Hamamatsucho station and about 15min walk from Shinbashi station. Ginza is a leisurely 30min-walk away. Also we can see the Tokyo tower from a distance. There’s a supermarket right next to the ...

Heart of Shimbashi surrounded by Akasaka-Ginza Toranomon. Street alight all round with bars and eateries. Lots of black and white suits. After work eateries and drinkeries abound. Old part of working Tokyo. Shinbashi station hosts a constant stream of people. Central to all by train and foot and and taxi. Hotel offers full and very good breakfast buffet. Western and J...

We felt thoroughly spoilt in this accommodation. The hotel is in the business district but there is good public transport access and excellent little restaurants in the nearby back streets. We did a lot of walking during our stay and discovered some little gems in the area. The lounge area was a bonus which we used quite a bit as the room itself is quite small, but tot...

The most good thing about this hotel is its location which is so close to Daimon Station and Hamamatsucho Station. From Haneda Airport you only ride Tokyo Monorail to reach Hamamatsucho very easy and fast. Close to Shinbashi, known as place for Japanese worker to gathering after their work, which means many delicious restaurant can be found on this area. Very close to ...

Booked this hotel for my anniversary in Tokyo (Tower view). STUNNING. The tower is actually alot closer than I have expected, staying at the 47th (there's only 47/48/49th floor). Room was excellent and I had stated that it was an anniversary and hotel mgmt actually hand drew a card and a small plant as a gift. Very warm of them. I was lucky that the 1 night stay had th...

Stayed here just a night only, chose the hotel by the central location - only 3 min from Shinbashi stn, which is the greatest advantage. May not be easy to find the entrance... There is a convenience store, Sunkus, at the ground floor where you may get small reduction when you identify yourself a hotel guest. Room size is rather small, but no choice. Everything is we'...

We went there as a family of 5. The room had 3 beds (distribution of 2, 2, 1 for the 5 of us). The room was neat and organised, it is also cleaned regularly. We shouldn't have brought our own sleeping attire because it also came along with sleeping wear (matching pajamas changed daily) which we used during our 5 night stay. When we arrived, we used the Kesei Access to ...

Very clean hotel room, although the room is small but that is Japan standard. 5 mins walk to major train stations, lots of famous eateries and convenience stores around. If you fly in or out at the Haneda airport, this is the best choice as there is monorail train to reach the airport directly from the Hamamatsucho station.

Pros: Great location as it's only less than 5 mins walk across the street from Hamamatsucho JR Yamanote line (green line)/monorail/Oedo line(red line). Remember to take north exit out. Elevators closer to north exit/center of stn. Clean, quiet (while we were there) NON SMOKING ! Lots to eat in and around the area & at Hamamatsucho stn. Closest convenience store is ...

The place is exceptionally clean, staffs are very polite and helpful, love that they have all shower amentities provided. They have all the basic need for business and lower budget travellers. Location ia great too, just 10 mins from Shinbashi station with 2 Family Mart along the way. The only down side is that rooms are not sound proof at all(which is understandable),...

Within 5-minute walk is the Shinbashi Station [JR Pass can be used here!]. Room size is adequate and is very clean with complete equipment like a studio apartment. Electric stove, cooking pans and washing machine are ready for use. Staff also gave a small pack of detergent during check in. Overall, we enjoy our stay at Tokyu Stay Shimbashi.

We arrived late at night from Haneda, the reception were waiting for us with 2 goodies bag for children. We told them 2 small kids will be staying. via email earlier. The typical Japanese hotel will provide 120% for their customer services, but something about this hotel that is different from others namely free buffet, not wholesome meal but the small things that matt...

My Japanese friend recommended this hotel and I have to agree - location wise and amenities provided, I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in Tokyo again! Location wise - train line is on the JR line (handy for JR pass travellers), short walk of 5-6 minute to hotel from station, and some local places to eat after a long day sight seeing. The hotel roo...

This is my first stop at Japan and I would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. This hotel is only 4 minutes walk away from JR Tamachi Train Station (East Exit). Once come out from East Exit, walk straight and turn right into a road junction. Sotetsu Fresa Inn is only few more steps ahead at your left side. Hotel gives free Shiseido toiletries. Landry at JP...

I have stayed in several hotels in Tokyo and this the best one. lt's in a quiet and green neighborhood with easy commute to Ginza and Haneda airport. The only thing was that some staff thought I was not in...

I came for a concert at New Pier Hall, and this hotel was clearly the best choice I could have made. It's very conveniently located and with absolutely beautiful surroundings on the pier, especially to walk around at night. It was very well priced too! I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you're attending anything in the area. If I had to say anything negative, g...

It's our second time in Tokyo Grand Hotel and we still love the experience! We requested to book our previous room that is 1410 but it was unavailable during our stay. What they did was to book us in the adjacent room, which has a closer view of Tokyo Tower! Superb customer service--one welcome drink and discount vouchers on their on-site restaurants. For our next trip...

Rooms are what you'd expect from a business hotel in Tokyo, a tight fit and minimalist but functional. In room, there is an empty fridge to keep snacks and an electric kettle/thermos seemed big for the room, particularly given the single green tea bag provided. The mattress was unusually soft for Asia. Its location is convenient, as nearby Shimbashi Station is a dire...

We stayed 6 nights as this was the best location to travel between different parts of Tokyo. Unfortunately the size of the room was small for our two large suitcases but we made do with what we had. The view we had on the 15th floor was lovely, but the time it takes to get down to the ground floor took a while. They only have one elevator, but the hotel boast about be...

This is a beautiful hotel, and the experience begins with the welcome from the staff and your entry into the magnificent lobby. We had been staying in 3 or 4 star hotels so this came as quite a step up for us. Nothing was too hard, and customer service here is hard to match. Great rooms, fantastic views. My only gripe, the shuttle bus is really popular (we saw a couple...

Hotel rooms size are decent for Japan standards. Good size queen bed. Location - easy accessible especially from Haneda airport. Toei subway line daimon station is just a min walk away. tsukiji market is less than 30 mins walk away, ginza 20 mins walk and shinbashi 15mins walk away. Both also accessible via direct subway ride. Very clean and new hotel, location just abt 7 mins walk to Shimbashi station, and about 15 mins walk to Ginza area, there are few nice ramen restaurants nearby as well as other types. Housekeeping made our room tidy and clean everday for the 3 night stay. Room had a air refreshener spray and Shisedo shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided. Since 1 of our 3 nights stay ...

We booked this hotel last minute when we missed the last trip of shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka. We were surprised that the triple room we got was bigger than expected. It's actually bigger than more expensive hotels in Tokyo. It's like a serviced hotel/apartment with own kitchen and washing machine inside the room. Bath and toilet are separate so one person can go to...

The only thing i did not like about the hotel was that they were very strict about the checking in and checking out time. my flight was earlier than expected so i arrived at the hotel at about 7am. but i wasnt allowed to check in till 3. other than that, everything else was great. the service was fast, the bed was comfortable. everything else was there. they ha...

it's my first time going to japan, so one of my biggest worries was choosing a place to stay. after going through several travel websites with the person i was going to share a room with, hotel villa fontaine hamamatsucho came up as one of the top two choices for both of us. it was offered at a great price, and had breakfast included. so that helped tip the balance in ...

The hotel is conviently located close to Hamamatsu station and the hotel will store your luggage if you arrive at the hotel before check in time or if you need to have them hold the luggage after you check out. We like this hotel very much because it is very easy to find the hotel, about 20 minutes walk from from the shinbashi Staion. It is a simple hotel, but it is really comfortable. If I would be given the chance to visit Shinbashi area again, I would stay in this hotel. It is also conveniently located near major shopping areas, like Ginza. Don Quixote is also near. It is near Shinbashi station so I did not worry to much about getting lost.

Keio Presso Hamamatsucho is a great hotel. We stayed for 2 weeks on our first trip to Japan. This is a business district near Tokyo Tower so it is quiet at night. Biggest plus is the size 20m2 the standard, 24m2 the deluxe. It's actually a service residence not a simple hotel room with a kind of kitchen, a separate sleeping room and - the best part a large balcony. It was a nice urban respite after a long day being out in Tokyo. Beautiful, squeaky clean, and very cute themed with tea and its culture. Breakfast was delicious too and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small as you'd expect in Japan considering the price and it is a little bit of a walk from Shinbashi Station, but a great value for money overall.

The apartment is a bit old and not well maintained. Different from the photos in Agoda. It would be most ideal if the owner have maintained the apartment well for guests . The bathroom was mouldy . The bedsheets was worned out and not new but still can sleep on it. Basic amenities was there , but no heater. We can cook daily and do our laundry. This is our first time ...
