“I love Tokyu Rei Shibuya Hotel”
So many things i love in this hotel. Mostly positive with only a little downside. Let me start with the pros first with: 1. The most important thing is the location. MRT, konbini, BIC, awesome foods, shibuya crossing are all nearby. So easy to navigate around all shibuya. 2. Value for money is hard to beat. Wayyy cheaper than Excel Tokyu Hotel, another nice hotel in Shibuya. 3. My room was not that big, almost all budget hotel in shibuya are compact. But it has the all the necessary things. Toilet seat is warm, very nice. Shower water pressure is good. So relaxing having a shower with hot water in winter after a long walk. They got nice body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Smells so good. Bathroom is compact but clean. Beds were okay. They provide me with universal charger for free in the room. They got shoe horn, helpful to put on shoes. They got deodorizer to spray on your clothes so you dont need to laundry too much. They provide in room pajamas too, which is quite comfy to put on. In every floor, they provide water dispenser coway so you can refill your water bottle everytime. 4. The staffs are all very helpful and friendly and smiling all the time. Especially miss Higa, she helped me to arrange our huge suitcases to be delivered to our next hotel. It was so convenient. We dont need to drag those big boys all around MRT, taxis there are quite expensive so we preferred MRT to navigate around. They also provide free snacks and drinks in the lobby hotel from 3pm to 10pm. My daughter love it so much. The cons are: 1. I went to japan in winter, my room for some reason has no AC. I never liked heater so i tried to open the window but it was so damn hard. I need to ask the staffs to open the window for several times during my stays. I wonder what it would be during summer 2. Since i needed to open the window, every 5 or so minutes the train sounds came in, it was a lil bit disturbing. Overall, the pros wayyyy outweighs the cons. I really recommend Shibuya Tokyu Rei for travellers who want to explore shibuya and doesnt want to break the bank. Thank you Shibuya Tokyu Rei Hotel for making our holidays memorable.
