Special mention to the elderly male receptionist who went above and beyond to help fix a broken bed leg promptly—his helpfulness was much appreciated. However, the facilities leave a bit to be desired. The use of the iron is limited to one hour, and you must call reception to request it, which can be inconvenient. Small issues like these detract from an otherwise pleasant experience. Overall, this hotel offers good value for its location and service, though some facility updates could make it even better. Ideal for travellers prioritising convenience and accessibility.

For my first visit to Japan, I was looking for a hotel in a convenient location, good price, with breakfast options on site. Excel delivered on all! You cannot beat being right on Shibuya Crossing, and getting the view from the glass elevator was amazing. Just downstairs, you have easy access to Daiso, 7-11 and loads of Izakayas to get a great meal. The breakfast buffet was relatively expensive, but had wonderful options of both Japanese and more Western/Euro style. Great coffee, multiple juice selections, and plenty of seating with window views. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable, shower/bath was well stocked with anything you'd need (shampoo/conditioner, shower gel/toothbrush & paste/brush etc).

Great location, Great breakfast with a great view”
Very centrally located, right above Shibuya station, and the airport limousine buses pickup point is situated just outside the hotel's 5th floor lobby entrance. Rooms are compact but cozy, and I love the table with 2 chairs on either side of it, with electric points conveniently located next to the chairs. Perfect for charging your devices, while having conversations over tea or snacks from the amazingly stocked convenience stores situated close by. The beds & duvets are very very comfortable, and the views of Shibuya especially on the higher floors are wonderful. There are perfect views of the Shibuya crossing from the glass lifts, that go up to the 25th floor for breakfast. The breakfast is a delicious and varied spread of Western and Japanese fare, with a changing daily soup that we looked forward to everyday. A special mention for the robust & flavourful coffee!! Also, the restaurant offered amazing panoramic views of Tokyo. Try to get a window seat!! We certainly had a very enjoyable stay.

i dont know how anyone could possibly give this place less than a 10/10 , the location is not just good its PERFECT literally CONNECTED to the shibuya station and its right by soo many shops, convience stores just everything that shibuya has to offer but at night its SILENT possibly cuz the floors are higher up- staff are can be english speaking and super friendly, everythings clean, the room is spacious The location is hands m-down the best part but when it comes to customer service,tidiness, services, size it lacks NOTHING (I want to add that ofc is not a castle made of gold but just considering the price for what it is its soooooo worth it esp if ur gonna tour around different places SHIBUYA station is literally the best station to ultimate comfort transport its WAY better than shinjuku
