Mixed feelings”

Surroundings, view, quiet

The place is absolutely stunning. Quiet, peacefull with ocean view, rice paddys and beautiful garden. It is a perfect spot to come for relaxation and romance. They have different kind of rooms, and ours was incredible with sunset/rice field/ocean/volcano and Java view. The beach is within walking distance through the rice paddy's, very nice walk. However it's a very dirty beach! Few things to know though. The place is in a very remote location, you wont go anywhere if you don't have a scooter or your private driver. You can obviously get a driver from the hotel or just a scooter, by it's really pricey (We paid driver 400.000 Rp for half day). Same for food, the menu is very limited and quite expensive for what it is. Also they don't serve any meat. There is no bar, there is no wifi and the 'pool' is not really a pool... The guy in charge was quite pushy to make sales on tours and private car, and it was not so nice. They have a 300.000 dolphin tour per person, and if you walk to the fisher village on the beach, they will charter a boat for 200.000 and you can fit as many people as the boat allows... Luckily, we came with our own scooter, so we were quite free of move, but some other guest didnt have this luck.

À charming place surrounded by ricefields”

Commune maels with the staff and the others guests- yoga classes- peacefull place and Nice view

The hôtel is located at the very end or a small path. You need 40 min by foot to join the main street. But you still have access to two small shop, one on the beach and one on the path. Although the hotel is providing several tour (dolphins watching, lovina tour, hot springs) , those tour are quite expensive compared to what you'll find in lovina. You can also rent motorbikes . The place is a heaven or nature, and you will enjoy it if you want to rest the all day. Surrounded by ricefiels, the beach and local fishermen village are 500m away. The yoga classes are great for beginners and it's free. In conclusion it's a great place to retreat in nature and quiet environment, far away from the busy and noisy city of lovina or singaraja

Lovely quiet location near rice fields and beach”

beautiful garden and houses

I do not recommend to book this hotel if you don't have your own transportation, because it's soooo far away from the main street. You have to walk about 40 minutes to get to the main road and from there you can get a bus maybe. When I booked the hotel I was the only guest, so there was no yoga class happening of course. The staff was very friendly and offered me to drive me to other places. The property itself is very beautiful. The room and bathroom was all good. Wifi is missing.

Beautiful serene hotel by the rice fields.”

The hotel was located next to rice fields by the beach, it was quiet. The cottage was gorgeous.

The two nights we stayed there had been relaxing and wonderful. Waking up to people tending their rice fields was amazing. On top of that, the view was superb. We liked it so much we stayed at the hotel a lot (except for the afternoon walk through the rice fields). It's definitely a place to relax, not to have parties. There are no really nice restaurants around but the food at the hotel was adequate. There's definitely not a lot of tourists like in Sanur or Kuta but it was nice.

Best holiday we have experienced in our lives!”

authentic bali, beach, sea, ricefields, tours, massage, dipping pool, yoga and relaxation

We love to travel around Asia and have seen many resorts... But this resort was one of the best we visited so far. It's a small more private resort located next to the ricefields, 100 meters from the beach and sea and a blissful view. A garden full with singing birds, daily yogaclasses included in the price. So we tried yoga for the first in our lives and it was lovely with a perfect view over the ricefields and the sea. We did many tours organised by the resort, like dolphin watching, visiting temples, trekking in the jungle and going to the hotsprings. The cottages are built in a traditional Balinese style which gives the whole resort something special and not as we experienced in many other resorts made of bricks in a western style. Next year we will definetely come back for a week to experience again this blissful and authentic place in Bali!
