Seminyak hotels & places to stay

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Astagina! This hotel is located about 20m inside one of the main roads. It isn't a long walk at all, and we appreciated the fact that it meant the hotel rooms are shielded from the hustle and bustle of the town but still allowing you to be at the centre of all the excitement. Upon our arrival we were promptly served with a cool refreshing fruit cocktail as we checked in and waited for our bags to be brought up. We loved the lovely Balinese decorated balcony outside our room which was nice to sit out when it cooled down at night. The room was lovely - the bed especially! It was super fluffy and huge, we slept like babies every single night that we were there. There are also loads of channels, including international pay TV if that's what you're into. Despite being quite close to a main road we could not hear a thing from the roads. A plus point about this great location meant that you were treated to a private oasis away from the business of Seminyak but still close enough (10 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to the tourist shops and restaurants) that you could still enjoy the best of both worlds. The pool was also very pleasant, with the staff super accommodating at the pool bar. The cocktails we had were also super yummy. Note - if you bring food into the room, make sure you put it in the fridge. Not sure if this was just Bali in general or if there were anything that could be done, we had a small packet of chips with the tops folded over and that attracted a few ants in our room and one or two on the bed. Maybe we should have known than to leave food not sealed and should have put it in the fridge. No worries after we threw that away and kept all our food in the fridge after. LOVED most things about this fantastic hotel and would recommend it to ANYONE coming to Seminyak, you won't regret it!

New boutique hotel in seminyak. Good size of rooms and bathroom. Room is tastefully decorated with in-room safe, bathrobes, rubber slippers and the pillows are very fluffy. Nice! Had a good sleep. The bathroom is clean, also huge. Buffet breakfast could use a bit more variety but ok for me. Cons 1. Only one mirror in the room and it's in the bathroom. If one is using the bathroom, the other one can't put on make up or blow dry their hair. Lighting in the bathroom is also a bit dark. Not suitable for applying make-up. 2. Parking is a few minutes walk. Have to use valet all the time. 3. Poor soundproofing. Our room was facing the Main Street and we could hear the live band from the cafe across. It's good they are done by 10pm but it's still pretty noisy and unsettling. We could also hear the cars outside. We had a good stay overall. It's good value for money compared to other hotels in Seminyak. Will just remember to ask for a room away from the main street.

Checking into the Seminyak was one of the best decisions my fiance and I made during our stay in Bali. Even though it was a bit pricey it was worth every penny. It is definitely a 5 star hotel and lived up to all of our expectations. This hotel could write the definition on cleanliness as our room and every part that we saw of the hotel and ground was spotless! The staff were so gracious and did everything that they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast spread was amazing complete with freshly cooked banana pancakes. The pool area, complete with sun lounges and direct access to the beach was a perfect place to escape and relax. The hotel has their own life guard as well so you feel extra confident going for a dip in the ocean. The room was beautiful with a comfortable king size bed, spa overlooking the sea and was the largest hotel room we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be going back to stay at The Seminyak again.

Our stay at TS Suites was good. We had stayed in another hotel in Seminyak the week before and while TS Suites has a fairly good location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants it was not as good a location as our previous hotel. The room was lovely, very comfortable with a gorgeous bath tub. We had room service and couple of times and this was fairly good. There was a fairly big selection for breakfast but it did not meet the same standards as our other hotel in Seminyak. The staff were also not as friendly or welcoming as we had experienced at other hotels in Bali. The pool was lovely and the free minibar was a great touch! This is a lovely hotel but I would recommend U Paasha more than TS Suites for better service, breakfast, location and a much more chilled out vibe!

Room was ready after 10 mins of our arrival (They were decorating the room as we were on our honeymoon). I requested for a room nearest to the beach (and that's what i got for a deluxe chalet-bungalow) Location By front entrance, there is a small road called gang that leads to the main road (10 to 15 mins of real walk depending on your speed). It can be quite dark after sunset so need to be careful. From the beach entrance, also a good 15 to 20mins walk to reach the main road. So personally for me, it was a good walk as my husband and i loves walking. so if you do not like walking for a distance, then you might need to get your own transport. There are also Taxis parked out of the hotel in case you need it. Food Puri Saron Seminyak"s Restaurant Mawar provided the best breakfast available, variety of food and its not the same everyday. They also give you a complementary waffle upon check-in to be use in their another restaurant called BlueWater. Otherwise throughout the day, the restaurants are dead. Beach From the hotel to the seminyak beach is just across a gang (small road), quite clean and private unlike kuta. you can walk a good 30 min to cover the 3 beaches (Kuta,Legian and Seminyak) Service We had to call the reception twice to get someone to fix the safe box. Otherwise service is pretty good Enjoyed my stay, will definately return.

It is hard to fault the U Paasha Seminyak Hotel. Located bang in the middle of Jalan Laksamana it's a perfect place for everyone, near all the top restaurants and best shopping in Bali. The pool was very nice, located on the roof with plenty of comfortable sun loungers. The rooms were nice and modern with large bathrooms, comfortable beds, good TVs with a lot of different channels in all languages. Breakfast was good, a large buffet spread with all the essentials. Wouldn't say it was great, but it was certainly good enough. My only problem was the wifi signal was not great in the rooms, and the staff failed to provide us with additional adapters for our plug sockets. These are problems I could live with however, as the internet signal was strong in communal areas. I would definitely go back.

Sadly it was my last night in Bali before heading home to Sydney on the late Jetstar flight. I hadn't booked any accomodation for the night as I had been staying in Ubud but wanted to be closer to shopping & the airport for my last day/night. I found a 2 bedroom Villa on Agoda @The JAS Villas right in the hub of Seminyak at a super cheap rate so booked it & I was gobsmacked at how awesome the Villa was. The staff were amazing & arranged a 7.30pm checkout the next evening which was bang on for me to get to the airport on time for my flight. My only regret is that I didn't discover this gem earlier in my stay. I will definitely be staying at The JAS Villas on my next trip to Bali. The location was perfect, just down a laneway from all the action in Seminyak yet when in the Villa it was tranquil & super relaxing, you would never know that a 3 min walk away was the hub of Seminyak clubs, bars & restaurants. And right at the end of the laneway across the road was a 24 hr restaurant WINNING

W is the most beautiful resort/ hotel in seminyak island. Employees are so warm and accommodating. They feel the need of every costumer which is most important on thier services. Facilities is excellent, restaurant and spa is superb. The best balinese massage i ever had.. i suggested ti get their package or running promotion in Spa with Body Scrub, Massage and facial, so worth with the Price. Room is cozy big rooms and well modern design. The Bar is wow too. Recommedable for all types of guest.

On our last day in bali we booked this hotel recommended by our driver. Im not very picky with hotel but i usually book accomodation one night then move on to another if i didnt like something, or if i dont feel comfortable. But its a diff dtory with dash, I love The hotel ambiance, designs and art decor. The room is amazing it has a hippie design i love the upside down bunny! I wished we moved to seminyak earlier.Location is great right in front of potato head walking distance in seminyak square but i recommend to hire motor bike.you get a 15 mins welcome head and shoulder massage and a cute refreshing welcome drink. Mya restaurant is right next to it where the buffet breakfast is , i recommend to book your stay with breakfast as the selections are excellent.the service is superb! Amazing staff, very helpful, always ready to assist you and you can see that they love working there.we checked out noon but our flt is midnight out of bali. Unfortunately no late check out option but they can store your baggage in the hotel for as long as we needed and was offered a shower to refresh ourselves before our flight. Id like to say thank to dash hotel. The people there made our stay enjoyable, they made sure we are comfortable during our stay the warm greetings the smile and their positive energy which radiates to everyone is just amazing. I recommend this hotel and will stay here when i come back to bali.thank you once again.

Anatara seminyak hotel/resort is really a paradise on earth. One of the best i visit, altough the high price you get allot and have a great experience.Service of the staff is absolutly excellent.The room is clean and absolutly extrodanairy, kingsize bed,livingroom, hottub inside and outside and complenmentary internet.Breakfast is a la carte and/or buffet, very diverse en tasty. beach is a 1 min walk and the hotel has a free bathing and sunning benchs for there guests. Two pools and a small gym. Altogether had a wonderfull time, enjoyed and relaxed vacation

By far this is the best hotel I stayed at in Seminyak for many reasons - Very friendly, pro, good communication and respectful staff - There isn’t anything they don’t know. They will do their best to make the guest happy - Pool is very clean and pool water doesn’t smell bad like other - The hotel in general is very clean and well organized. Very safe as well - The open air club at the rooftop is fantastic and the classic lounge at the fifth floor is great place - Breakfast selection is great and they even make anything you might not find on the menu upon request - Rooms are very big and very tidy. The Hermès amenities were very great Long story short, I have been to Bali 5 times and this is by far the best hotel I have been to.

As always the Amadea does not disappoint. I have stayed at this hotel a few times before and the staff really looked after me on this trip. On the first afternoon to welcome me back they even delivered a complimentary fruit basket which was a very nice touch. The staff at reception are more than happy to book anything you may require and the rooms are beautiful. This trip I stayed in a pool terrace room and it is so nice being able to walk out of your room and straight into the pool. If you are looking for a hotel in Seminyak whether it be a room or a villa you simply can't go past the Amadea.

I were here just for a day in a jacuzzi room. On special request I told that I celebrate honeymoon and hope their best service. When arrived near the hotel, I doubt about the quality of hotel, because this hotel located in a small road in Seminyak (dont worry, the have shuttle bus to seminyak plaza and offer you like a golf car to reach the main road). But, after arrived at hotel, I feel amaze. A big and modern hotel with friendly staff. We got welcome drink and during waiting for check in time, We enjoy their roof top. I think we qot special services, they decorated our bed room and jacuzzy with red rose, and gave us honeymoon cake on evening. We order two bowl of ice cub and got it free. For their breakfast, it is excellent. They offer us many kind of coffee, tea, and yoghurt with free of charge, they are so creative to make many kind of egg menu. Overall is excellent. But I think they should to develop their cleanness because I feel their wood floor oily and develop their indonesian food. Maybe because most of visitors are international tourist so the only offer one indonesian menu. For Indonesian, their western food is not tasty. We will recommended it to you, and we will back to stay here some day.

We spent 3 nights in Seminyak with our children (20&17). Hotel is very well located just 5min distance to Seminyak beach and beach clubs (Potato, Ku de Ta and Alila beach club). Villa is awesome, very spacious, perfect decorated and relaxing with its pool in the middle. Hotel has everything you need, complete gim, room service, barbacou, butler and so on. I would just mention that some things need refurbishment as our shower (was broken) and maybe more variety of things in the breakfast buffet. Also I have to complain that we were not allowed to a 30min late check out. I understand that hotel was almost fully booked but it was just 30min delay. Apart from that, our time in the hotel was great. The area is perfect for shopping, fine dining and drinks.

Stayed here our first 5 nights in Bali. Premier room was very clean and had a view of the pool and other hotel rooms (so be aware other people can see into your room). Staff very friendly. Breakfast fantastic eggs Benedict and lovely coffee. Advise using Gojek (Indo Uber) as can get cheaper taxi and airport transfer (half price). Rooftop bar great for a happy hour sunset cocktail. We had Bali belly stomach problem first 2 days and hotel nurse helped us with some medicine. Hotel restaurant in evening is ok, nothing special and there are lots of great restaurant close to the hotel in Seminyak.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel, even though the location is far back but it is still great location to other places (It's located in the heart of Seminyak). Staff is great, friendly, and professional. However, the cleanliness of the hotel and the way the clean the room is a little bit below my standard, so I have to give 3 star instead of 5, we found a stain on our bed sheet even though it has been changed. Facilities is quite complete, they provide baby coat for our 10 months old baby and she is super happy. Overall this is a great price point of view and give you the best value for money.

We love the hotel as it is brand new, so everything is clean and nice. We booked the direct pool access room but was given the room at opposite side which there is a walking alley in front of our room to pool for other guests to access between the pool and washroom, so it is not really a direct access and not good for privacy. I asked for a room change to the opposite row where it is direct access to pool and have more privacy. their respond was fast and helpful to my request. maybe it is not fully booked as it is still new so they could arrange the room change in a very short time. Hopefully they would keep up the standard and good work as it is even after they become famous to tourist later. The breakfast are very good, with wide variety of food choices. The location is a bit far from the main center of seminyak, about 20mins walking distance from seminyak and the roads were quite dark at night. They provide shuttle drop to seminyak hourly but do not pick up for return. the second day we got a motorcycle rental from the hotel at Rp70k/day which we think is reasonable and it only took about 10mins ride to reach seminyak and 20mins ride to reach ku de ta beach. so if you want a relax and quiet place, this is a very good choice. Hopefully they would keep up the standard and good work as it is even after they become famous to tourist later. and also don't increase the room rate.

Excellent value for money. Could not have asked for better staff who were always available and on hand to assist. Very friendly and polite who provided free shuttle to seminyak. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Room was cleaned every day. Had the suite which was spacious: air con did leak but we didn’t report. Pool isn’t massive but really nice. Located next to a road which was sometimes noisy but not an issue at night when the balcony door was closed. For how cheap hotel was, we was really surprised with the good quality! And to top it off, free pizza every day! Outstanding!!!

my stay with indigo has been really awesome and i would highly recommended it to all as the service from the start to the end of my stay there was impeccable. i had a great time staying there with all the facilities available from A to Z. its a bit of a distant from the main stretch of street but hey, its bali. everybody needs a bit of walking. View is great, the swimming pool is always inviting. their food choices are great but personally i think it could've been better with the taste. but nevertheless, this is one of the best hotel i've stayed in so far. cheers to indigo seminyak hotel!

The place was located right smack in front of the beach! Calmer side of Seminyak but still a reasonable walking distance to the cafes, convenience store, pharmacy and popular hang out places such as Kudeta and Potato Head. Next to it there's this cute little warong with amazingly cheap food. Warong mina. AWESOME! and the best part of our stay there itself was the Villa itself. The villa is so spacious for a couple and maybe a family of four. Comes equip with a kitchen, dining area, sitting area and a hunongous bathroom! Honestly this place has more of a Bali feel and you could tell that the place has been there for awhile but wtheck right. Cleanliness was acceptably good. View is uh-meh-zeeng! The only downside for this place which was the wifi which comes and mostly goes with the sea-breeze. lol but we didn't really use it tho. Staff were amazingly helpful! and the area does not restrict GRAB, GO-JEK OR UBER to enter which was AWESOME! Cause mainstream hotels do that and it's rather

The location of the hotel is great, right in the heart of Seminyak. Hotel lobby, reception, swimming pools and restaurants are all clean, modern, spacious and beautiful. The room was nice (I had a deluxe with balcony room). However, the bathroom looked nice but their were stains on the floor and mood in the corners of the bathtub. Also the water in the sink drained very slow and the various shower options and waterstrenght were far from ideal. I could turn the tab to the shower and instead of water coming out of the shower it came out of the bathtub tab. Also the water was never really warm. Balcony was nice and so was the bed and seating area. There is also no closet to put your clothes in (other than 4 hangers) ther are no shelves or anything. Roomstewards were great and so was the reception staff. Overall a great experience, however the bathroom is in need of some maintenance.

We had the most amazing experience there. Firstly, the location is perfect as its right smack in the heart of Seminyak where all the great restaurants, cafes and shops are at. But the best part about Equilibria is the staff service. They were attentive, friendly, beyond helpful and made us feel perfectly at home. Our every need was met with great attentiveness. They got us a SIM card when we were looking for one and just bought one and topped it up for us. They made all our restaurant reservations. We even got a nifty mobile device that connects us to our butler in case we get lost or for any help we need. We believe that this has to be one of the best villas we stayed in Seminyak for its impeccable service. We will definitely go back there again whenever we are in Bali.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Balisani Suites and we were both so impressed with the hotel. It was great value for money, a lot cheaper than all the other beachfront hotels in Seminyak. We stayed in the Deluxe Sea View room and the view was just beautiful - highly recommended. The hotel is very relaxed comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and the buildings are all made from stone with lush gardens in between. It really is a gorgeous escape from the crowds at Kuta. The hotel restaurant looks over the ocean, and is beautiful at breakfast time or to watch the sun set. I am looking forward to staying at this hotel again in the future.

Berry Amour had a great pool, room witha living area. Also, I had a very good night sleep on the bed which was perfectly comfortable. The bathroom is huge and very spacious. The only down thing is that the bathroom has transparent doors, so you have to be comfortable being naked. The villa is absolutely value for money. Cleanliness wise, not that bad either. There are quite a number of mozzies and bugs in the outdoor area of the villa, in particular, there are some in the Jacuzzi, so we have to clean ourselves before the session.I think other villas in Bali will be the same as well. Food wise, the breakfast were just good. There was a mixture of western and asian options. Unlike the usual buffet style, the breakfast was sent to our villa at our own dining area at the time of our preference. Overall, the serving size was perfect and the food tasted not bad. We could choose from a variety of eggs (eggs benedict, omelette, scrambled, poached, etc) and different sausages (chicken, pork, beef, etc). There were also Asian style breakfast which was delicious. I will really recommend Berry Amour for their great customer service which makes us feel like VVIP through simple things they do. The staff make it a point to remember your names. Another great thing is their chauffeuring service to locations in Seminyak. If their staff is free, they will just drop you at the place you want to go in Seminyak. In fact, they will always send us because we are just going to places in Seminyak!

We spent 10 great days in this new hotel (open 07/12). Very quiet, witch is exceptionnal in this area. Near from everything. All the service you need is there. Lots of good restaurant around, beach at 100 metre, even the cleaning 10 metre from hotel (a 1/3 of hotel price). Lots of massage available around. Take taxi with metter, very cheap this way, it change life. Staff is very helpfull. Thay can organise whatever you need with efficiency & smile. Wifi is not good but they have two computers free of use. Breakfast average but dinner not good and very expensive for what it is. 30 minutes from Airport, near Seminyak.Go for a massage every day,Inner Glow near near Matahari shopping center, best we have been. Not a 5 star hotel but we recommend highly this hotel, excent value for a reasonable price. 30 minutes from Airport, near Seminyak.

We were so impressed my the modernness of these villas, the location, the perfected cleanliness and the most efficient friendliest staff I have ever had the honor of meeting. Upon check in u receive a mobile phone to use for pick ups and drop offs free of charge within seminyak, 66 areas but the villas are so well located we walked everywhere and utilized the private tour options to see the countryside. I have to boast about the staff because from the minute we were picked up from our other hotel in Denpasar we were made to feel at home :) once we were settled in and met the staff we were so pleased to have chosen Jas Boutique Villas for our seminyak base as we had the time of our lives thanks to the friendly staff, by the time we checked out we felt like we were hanging with family and thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent with them all!!! Saying goodbye was actually pretty sad and we were presented with gifts from the villas. My husband and I plan to return with our children sooner than we had originally hoped and can't wait to see everyone again. I would not hesitate recommending Jas Boutique Villas to anyone wanting 5star service and the best hospitality I've ever come across. The room was cleaned impeccably every single day, beautiful cooked breakfast delivered promptly at your convenience, pool cleaned daily, laundry services available and the best priced mini bar in Seminyak! Gorgeous villas and staff... Please pay no mind to people tripping about the walkway to main street as with the works etc surrounding the villas on public lane ways it's hardly under the villas control, we have absolutely no negative feed back to give and as for taxis not being able to find it, I guess people should ask taxis if they know where to go before getting in as we Did and we never had any trouble. The owner's, management and all staff should be very very proud of what they have achieved and the service offered is second to none!!! Perfect :) we really felt like family <3

My stay at Hu'u was great! Right from the point when I checked in until I checked out. I have been to Bali many times and have dined as well as had drinks at Hu'u Bar, which both have never failed me. Therefore when Hu'u Villas was finally up, it was definitely on top of my list to check it out. Superb location, right in the middle of Jl Petitenget so every one of my favourite spots in Seminyak were less than five minutes away. Amy (I hope I remember her name right), at reception was very friendly and welcoming, everyone else on the grounds were the same. Service was excellent. Definitely enjoyed the space and design of the villa. In fact, I have already told so many of my friends about Hu'u Villas since I have been back home, I hope I will not have difficulty making a booking in future because the villas are so limited. And actually, I have just booked for my next trip back to Hu'u in a few months time. Looking forward to being back again!
