Boutique hotel with great hospitality ”
The mattress and pillow are very comfortable. The room is clean and spacious. The staffs are friendly and approachable with good hospitality. The location is good with many eateries around, spoilt for choices. For tourists, it is about a 15mins fast walk to the nearest shopping mall, Parkway Parade if you would like to have some shopping. For local, it will be a great staycation at an affordable price. There is also a simple rooftop swimming pool to soak in for an hour, due to covid-19 measure. The views are great, both in the day and also during the night. Once again, thank you!

I stayed for 6 days and I work in hotels myself and can say that the Service, the atmosphere of this unique hotel located in the heart of Katong, with it's character charm building, spacious rooms, some with balcony, overlooking greenery where bird congregate in the evening, it superb, comfortable, clean and above all top class service with a smile. Great location - Great value for money”
Having lived in the Lion City for 20 years, finding good value for money accommodation in Singapore usually ends in tears. However, I came across Santa Grand by word of mouth from some colleagues - it seemed the perfect mix of price, location and amenities for some friends visiting Singapore for the first time. They absolutely loved the friendliness, smack centre in Katong and the plethora of great dining options - I took a peek at the hotel and room and I was very pleasantly surprised too - Highly recommended by visitors and this local alike!

Best hotel in many ways”
3rd stay and this time without family. Having wfh for 18 months, badly need a staycation. After looking around for days, still come back to the same hotel. Near to beach and Katong, it exudes the vibes of a boutique hotel. I do not need a city hotel and malls to remind myself I am still in Singapore. Friendly and helpful staff from reception to maintenance to housekeeper. For this price, the big bonus is the roof top pool. I could still find something new to do in my 3rd stay.

Had an enjoyable 3 nights stay at the hotel! The room is neat and clean, comes with a grass carpeted balcony that you can sit outside, have your meal and chat with your loved ones. Staff are friendly and welcoming! Always greeting you with a smile when you leave or enter the hotel. Location is superb, you are surrounded by a lot of eateries. You want restaurant, Coffeeshop, hawker food, high end, buffets, cafes or supermarkets, everything is within a stone’s throw away. Just something to take note is that your balcony is right beside another unit’s balcony separated by a high wall. So if they were to speak loudly etc, you can hear them easily.

I wasn't able to make it, but my friends gave the following feedback: The hotel was lovely, and so were the staff who were very kind and helpful. Plus points for accessibility. We were there for a staycay but we really felt like tourists during that weekend. And the birthday card and balloons made us feel special too. Friendly staff, comfortable room, tasty breakfast and all at a reasonable price. The surrounding area is well served with eateries and bars and the hotel is only a 15 to 20 minute bus ride from the city centre via stops no more than a minute away on foot. Recommended!

ASI said love the location all kinds of foods availbe in walking distance. The katong shopping center is not great but it is ok there is a bookstore, chinese medicine place and fresh fruit place within the block. Haven’t tried the restaurant in the hotel. The pool is a nice treat

The staff were very helpful in helping the check-in. Had some confusion on the room type, but was swiftly resolved. Excellent! Great food choices nearby, comfortable walking distance to 328 Katong Laksa, Awfully Chocolate (great breakfast w coffee mix), Platypus Cantina (awesome Mexican fare. Loved the squid dish!) Wonderful stay!

Room is very big and spacious but only thing it is next to the rest room for staff. 😂. Aircon is also not cold enough. Maybe the room is too big. The shower room is quite big and spacious too.

One word for this hotel fantastic!!! we stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was absolutely fabulous . Very accommodating and the staff are very friendly and helpful and out of all very honest. We accidentally forgot our money in the safe box and they contacted us which was so nice of them. The breakfast was so yummy every morning. Definitely we will recommend. We had a pleasant stay.
