Where to stay in Santo Domingo Province
Santo Domingo Province hotels & accommodations

I have been two times under the Don Juan name, so my third visit overall. The only issue was when I booked the room, I included a child, but when I arrived, they said it wasn't booked that way and I had to pay more for for my son. Overall, the food was very good and the room was excellent. The pool was kept clean and the nightly activities were fun, the performers ve...

Hamilton Hotel is a very nice hotel to stay in when in Boca Chica, DR. It's a short ride from the International airport or a short bus ride to downtown Santo Domingo. The beach was quite large & enjoyable to walk. There were plenty of restaurants, bars & shopping nearby. Over all a great place to stay.

Comfortable, clean apt.s close to restaurants, shops, mini market, bars/pubs, bank - main street (1-3 min.), beach (3 min., if buy a "piňa" or eat - sun bed free), airport - 20 min, usually can find everything what you looking for. Stuff friendly, helpful - speak Italian, Spanish, English and may be more. Fast free internet. We rent a car (local company), drive round B...

This hotel's comfort level was sub par. In three days never got maid service. Beds were so old you felt the springs. Holes in walls, open electrical sockets, no mini-fridge, A/C unit sounded like a truck in the room all night - could not sleep, yet no screened windows so could not sleep with fresh air or risk being bitten by mosquitoes. Was not informed by desk clerk ...

We had a one day layover in the DR and stayed at coco. The owner is very nice, staff was very helpful. We had transport arranged for us by the hotel (we had to pay) as our flight was arriving late I the evening. Breakfast was outstanding and reasonably priced (3-4 $USD). I would highly recommend this hotel for. A layover or any type of trip in Santo Domingo. 2 minut...

Hotel Azzurra is a very nice hotel to stay in when in Boca Chica area, DR. It's a short ride from the International airport or a short bus ride to downtown Santo Domingo. The beach was quite large & enjoyable to walk. There were plenty of restaurants, bars & shopping nearby. Over all a great place to stay.

We stayed here on our last night before we left the DR for two reasons...1) it was close the airport and our flight left at 8am, and 2) the web site says it offers transportation to the airport. The place itself is gorgeous and a very fair deal. However, we had to book the rooms first and then really search for the whole airport shuttle thing. Turns out, it's really...

So where should I start, fiancée arrived before I did but would not let her ascess property until I arrived, then they gave me the wrong room, finally after about 45 minutes I got my room, but in the meantime witnessed front desk staff, although the three different occasions hotel guest were irate, why not resolve the instead of being unconcerned. Hotel does not have a lot of room, which is nice. Great location on the beach, close to everything in town. Staff was nice. Free breakfast for 2 was great, not a lot of places open in the AM. Nice beach with lots of chairs. I would recomend if you want a great place in Boca Chica.
