My expectation was no so high at the first time, considering the hotel is 3 star hotel. Surprisingly, among other three star hotel that i have stayed, BATIQA hotel pekan baru is one of the best. The room ambient, cleanliness and breakfast was great. The location is very close to the airport. Minor improvement is for the front desk staff.

Stayed there for a week and was not expecting much because of price. Great staff service, extremely friendly, sat down with them nightly to have a good chat and they were very welcoming even showed me around. Location wise, i think it's ok, not in the heart of the town but walkable distance to 2 malls. Convenient stores are walkable distance away. Recommended.
