Booked hotel through agoda. Hotel emailed agoda asking our time of arrival. I replied hotel directly and hotel replied instantly. Hotel transfer was punctual with Great comfortable car. 15 mins drive to hotel from BBT port. Upon arrival, was treated with friendly security and receptionist serving cold Apple tea and wet towels. Plus point, receptionist was able to speak good English. Check in was very fast and efficient. She asked for our ferry return booking confirmation. We have no idea why. There is a mini mart right Infront of lobby. Very smart. We were able to stock up. Villa was so clean and awesome pool. TV with many cable channels HBO to FOX to sports. They have shuttle services to nearest mall Plaza Lagoi. In our case, they drove us personally to the mall. Awesome!. And they fetched us back from mall on time. We were told that due to off peak season, there won't be any buffet breakfast nevertheless they told us they would send the menu to our room to choose. Within seconds, the menu came and was told we could order anything or even Everything on the menu. The best part, it could be serve at 10.30am so we don't have to wake up that early. Our check out time was extended for us to 1.30pm instead of 12 noon. Upon checking out, receptionist handed us our ferry boarding passes. Least that we know, they had done all the tedious work at the ferry before hand with the ferry return booking slip that I handed to her upon check in. We just had to board our ferry. Fantastic service! And will recommend everyone to have their short getaway at this villa!

me and my partner only stayed at banyan tree bintan for one night as part of a trip he took to visit me in singapore (i am currently working as an expat), but we didn't want to leave. we were in the villa on the rocks suite, and with the sound of waves crashing on the rocks to fall asleep to and wake up to, we both agreed it was probably the most relaxed either of us had ever been. the accommodation was beautiful but our door was broken and didn't lock properly, we ended up just stuffing our small valuables in the safe and closing the sliding door so it wouldn't look so open and hoping no one went in (thankfully for this part it was only one night). this was easily forgiven however, by the experience at banyan tree, and it really is an experience. right from the go as soon as you arrive on the ferry they have a private waiting room you can relax in while waiting for your private escort, all the staff are incredibly friendly and more than willing to help with anything you ask of them. as it is a decent sized resort the buggy service option was fantastic as well - just had to call reception and within a few minutes there would be someone outside your door asking where you'd like to be driven to. we spent our checkout day hiring out a kayak and snorkeling gear and going out to one of the many islands surrounding bintan, unfortunately they did have a jellyfish alert on at the time so we stuck to fairly shallow waters while snorkelling but it was still beautiful regardless, on check out we were even running a bit late and when we told them they graciously gave us an extra 30 minutes to check out with no problems at all. all in all, the best way to sum up our stay at banyan tree bintan is that my partner left to go back to his home less than a week ago, and we've already decided on his next trip over we will skip singapore altogether and spend a full week in bintan. paradise.

I was staying at the Canopi for my anniversary stay. It was overall a enjoyable stay rating 8 / 10. Positive feedbacks 1) The resort was very clean and well manintance 2) It was very beautiful compare to most of the resorts i visited in Bintan 3) The staff are all very friendly 4) Services rendered for the pick up of departure ferry tickets upon check out was a plus point. 4) The rooms are very clean and well maintance. Improvements feedback 1) The front office staff can be more careful when check in of guest as my rooms keys was given wrongly (My Room was 049 but key given was 041) 2)It will be nice if the check in time can be more flexiable and allowing guest to check in earlier if the room is already ready. ( I came to know my room was ready because i get to know my room number when i was doing my spa booking and visited it a few time with my rented e scooter for phototaking) 3) The treasure island booking procedure can be improve to faciltate the waiting time. Pros- Idyllic Amazing natural sand bank 'island' formation. 'Sank' during high tide, the S shape sand bank only revealed during low tide, which is early morning. Best time is sunrise- low tide, we find. Kids can play at the private pool right outside the living area. Parents can relax inside aircon living area while kids play water outside. Excellent friendly staffs to accomodate our requests. Best is to inform earlier before arrival. Complimentary birthday cake and wedding anniversary decorations. Cons- the forest fire took place for the few days when we stayed. Could smell the burnt smell in the air for the first day. The hyper large factory developments nearby also contributed to the deforestation. Out of town, 1hr drive. No shopping.

The hotel looks better in person. It's new, so there weren't much people around. There are still a few things being constructed, but it didnt' bother us at all. The beach area was BEAUTIFUL. I did not expect that wide of a shoreline. The water was great, but then again since it's Bintan there was still the occasional oil spillage you'll spot later on probably on the soles of your feet. The place is really beautiful and young and hip. The room is really big, with a balcony and all. Perfect for families and friends. The design is very hip - feels like a cool hostel but with great amenities. The best part is, there are many activities you can do on the island! We did not expect to have a foam party and a water zumba party (so much fun!) also, releasing sea turtles and a few fun games. This is really a teat if you want to a place with many activities and also a place to literally just lie on the beanbags and chill. The hotel is only 15 minutes away from the station.

If you seek a relaxing beach vacation at a secluded high-end resort then Angsana Bintan is an excellent choice. The sister resort Banyan Tree 7 mins. walk away is slightly more luxurious and is also recommended. When I made the booking I was somewhat concerned about several reviews on this and other websites criticizing various aspect of the resort. However, after my family spent 7 wonderful days at the Angsana (in an Island Family Suite) I can assure everybody that today there is no reason whatsoever to be concerned. Comments to other reviews Restaurants: for a five-star resort the price level comes as no surprise. Actually, the Lotus Cafe provides very reasonably priced meals throughout the day. The Pintai Grill also offers an affordable lunch menu until 18:30. At this time the restaurant changes to a bit more expensive but also delicious dinner menu. If you stay at the resort on a Saturday make sure to reserve the Pintai Grill Saturday Dinner Buffet. A lot of delicious food and your table is less than 15 meters away from the sea. The nearby Banyan Tree resort restaurants also offer delicious food. Breathtaking view in case of full-moon. Remember to use the very effective mosquito lotion provided by the restaurant/resort. The included breakfast buffet was also nice with sufficient variation. We did not like the beef bacon though but there are so many other western and local dishes, delicious pastry etc. Expect a wide range of guest nationalities at both resorts Spa: great. Ask Benny for any spa/other activity reservation. Recommend a jet ski tour along the beautiful coast Pool: spacious and has great water Aircon: our suite had a brand new and impressively quiet aircon in every room Bathtowels: no shortage at all. We got all the pool and beach towels we asked for Overall maintenance: the resort is not new but is very well maintained. Internet: connectivity is good throughout the hotel and beach but internet speed is slow. Remember that the resort is on remote is

First of all, Wishing all of you guys a Very happy new year! We must say this was our first trip to Batam. Read the reviews beforehand about your hotel, Da Vienna and we had decided that we wanted to stay here. After going through the booking procedure, we decided to contact the hotel staff via Whatsap. We first got in touch with Dika, he was very prompt and professional with his replies as we decided to book/reserve a candlelight dinner & a room deco as it was our honeymoon. He then forwarded my number to his colleauge, Rizky to further discussion. Rizky was very attentive to all our details. Rizky then forwarded my number to the deco person name, Memey. I wished to comment the deco person, Memey for the way she handled our needs. She was patient and friendly because we asked her so many questions (even not about deco), such professionalism is rare nowadays. She made the room so beautiful. The deco went beyond our expectations (5 stars). During our candlelight dinner we had in the lounge, we've been welcomed and served by Ade & Josnedi. The food and drink was really good (thanks to the chef). We had the most Outstanding service by both of them. We contacted the Vienna Spa through email to ask what promotion do they have. Yuni, the spa manager provided us an excellent service with her prompt replies. I was served with 3 or 4 different staff in the spa ( my apology didnt got their names ). They "woman-handle" me very well. Very satisfied with it. ( No kinky business! ) Initially booked a 3 days 2 night stay in Junior Suite ended up with 5 days 4 night stay ( because we were so happy with the treatment ). Wished i could stay longer =) hopefully in the future. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. So far there are no problem with the room or the services we had. 5 stars recommended and will surely come back for more in the future. I will sure to recommand your Hotel to my families and friend. Staying at the Grands I hotel was definitely a good move for my best friend and I. We really enjoyed our stay as it was really convenient in terms of being walking distance to the Nagoya Hill Mall and also the ferry terminal. Travelers should expect to pay around 50k - 60k Rupiah (~ SGD$5 - SGD$6) for your taxi from HarbourBay ferry terminal to the hotel and not more than that. If they do, then you know you're being cheated. Rooms and toilets were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent and I especially looked forward to my morning jamu. I will definitely stay here again if I come to Batam island. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Hi readers, Let me begin by saying that this is my 2nd time staying in this resort . I will take you approximately 1 hour from the Ferry Terminal to this paradise. We booked the Deluxe Garden room since the Ocean Suite was fully booked. My expectations was the same as of my 1st visit however we find it that during this 2nd visit we were not given welcome drink upon arrival, the aircon on room 601 was spoilt and they need to repair it lucky we arrived in the resort a little before 3pm so we decided to take a walk and spend our time in their bar and restaurant and eat an early dinner. Finally after a few hours they manage to fix the airconditioning unit. The place is clean, the staff are very friendly and polite which is one of the reason I came back. The food is nice for their price (IDR). Meteor Island is just infront of the resort and you can walk your way to the island without wearing any lifejackets, which is quite nice. One more thing that we notice, during our checkout we we're not given our Ferry tickets where in during our 1st visit they gave it to us. Maybe it was because we are on a less expensive room and we dont have that perks however it would be nice if those were included whichever room you booked. Overall it was indeed a holiday and we enjoyed our stay. We will book again for sure.

The hotel was a 10 - 15 minutes drive away from the Batam Central ferry terminal, albeit inconvenient for some, in a more quiet and less busy side of the island. We arrived abit earlier than expected and were allowed to check in early and the staff even greeted us with welcome drinks. Room was exactly as pictured on the site and was clean. The toilet was so spacious and it was such a shame that we didn't have the time to use the bathtub. We dumped our stuffs and immediately went out for lunch. Kepri Mall is literally just across the road from the hotel and we had a sumptuous lunch at one of the many restaurants before returning back to the hotel for a spa session. The rates were reasonable, as compared to where we're from, but if you're looking for something dirt cheap then this is not the place. The massage was splendid and the masseuse did not tire out halfway and we were served ginger tea at the end of the session. We hit up the rooftop garden at night for some drinks which were not too expensive and were even entitled to half price discounts as well as coupons that were given to us. The waiting staffs were very eager to accommodate to us. The next day we checked out abit later than intended due to some complications but the hotel staffs were understanding and did not charge us for it. We also somehow manage to accidentally break the toilet seat cover whilst seating on it and they were kind enough not to forfeit our deposit. I think to sum it up I was very satisfied with my stay with the hotel and would not hesitate to recommend to everyone else and come back there on my next visit!

When I searched a good hotel in the batam island. this hotel~Harris Hotel Batam Center Always among the best，so I decide to live in.When you reach the ferry terminal，the hotel is very easy to recognized, and a stone's throw near the terminal.around the hotel there is a big hypermarket which you can find some cheap food. the hotel staff very friendly, and full of energy. they can try to meet customer requirements. such as I complain the aircon not cool, they can adjust to another room for me, although the booking is full. when I check out at very early morning (5am), they also can prepare the breakfast for our family, Rather than a variety of excuses. this is very touch me, so I Not hesitate to pay a tip (before that I never do this). Finally I suggest (1) can make a connection channel between the ferry terminal and hotel.Conference Hall can change to shopping mall when the visitor pass by (2) the food is expensive compare with hypermarket,And no dishes.can Provide some local specialties.

My bf and I had our first short trip and decided to go to this hotel in Bintan. Indeed we made a very good choice. The hotel is beautiful, the room is spacious and the amenities are new. We are on the highest floor and the view from our room is awesome. The lake view on the left side and Plaza Lagoi and the sea view on the right. There is also an entertainment room where you can play billiard and psp and also movies. The breakfast buffet is super yummy, so many choices from western to local food. And the best part is the service, i've been to other 5 star hotel but theres nothing like the service given to us by Grand Lagoi, all the staff are friendly, helpful and polite..special mention to Pancha, the shuttle driver who helped us checked some things at the ferry terminal.The best hotel ever. Highly recommended. Keep it up. 👏👏👏

Was very impressed with the hospitality and cleanliness of this hotel. If you are in Batam, this an excellent hotel to stay in and feel safe. Though a little bit off from Batam Centre and Nagoya, it is easily accessible and the best part is there is no forceful taxi drivers that dictate your mode of transportation. You can easily book grab with out any fear or reprisal. For the price we paid, the facilities were great - swimming pool, 3 stories of fitness room (with modern equipment), sauna and whirlpool and observation deck and lounge at the 9th floor for a great panoramic view. Breakfast selection could be improved. What I really like about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff and the safe feeling we experience throughout our stay (something we have yet to experience in Batam so far). There are also good eateries within walking distance, minimart to replenish on your essentials and a massage parlour (no hanky panky) just opposite the hotel.Overall, best experience ever!!!!

Hotel provide free transfer from batam center mega mall to hotel every 2hrs. Hotel do provide free shuttle bus to the other big shopping mall (Grand batam mall & Nagoya hill mall) every 2hrs. And they provide free buggy ride to the nearest mall (kepri mall) and you can arrange for a pick up from kepri mall at your preferred timing. When we reached hotel we are 3.5hr early for check in time but we still manage to check in before 12pm and hotel lobby even greet us with 3 different types of refreshments cooling drinks and cookies + candies for the kiddos, although this is a golf and convention hotel but hotel doesn't forget to impress guests with kiddos. As we check in with 2 adults and 2 kiddos so I book a twin bed rooms and while checking in the reception even call up the housekeeping to arrange for our twin bed to be join so it will be big enough for my family,very thoughtful of the staff. Did I mention smile is never miss in any of the staff face anytime. Swimming pool is 1 of the best and there even a kids club for the small kids like 7yrs and below. Most of the hotel we ain't allow to take the towel from the swimming pool to our room, same as Radisson but 1 best point is they had prepared lots of white towel to swap with you for the pool tower so the guest wont feel any bit of cold when we enter the lobby. Breakfast is great, they sure have something for everybody. But buffet lunch or dinner is only available during the weekend maybe is becos more people are in this hotel during weekends. We had 1 dinner at the hotel lobby restaurant (Bite restaurant) as tired of all the same food in shopping mall.And that's the best meals we had in all our meals during the trip,but a little pricey for the portions we had,maybe just increase on the portions will be great. Most of the restaurants in shopping centre sell same things,all indon food. We had a time when we had pizza hut in grand batam mall and that's the worst food we had, pasta is so soggy, pizza dough i

Place to relax and enjoy the seasports and simple tour in an island nearby - all watersport activities can be booked through the resort. Price is reasonable like what you would pay for in SG. The seaside view rooms are much newer and modern feel., however if you are a light sleeper and does not like the sound of crashing waves, not recommended as it can be pretty loud when doors are ajar. I enjoyed the sound and view so it was fantastic! The suites or family rooms have a chalet feel and clean as well. Massage opens only til 9 pm where latest booking is at 5pm. Some fishing by the little jetty is good to pass time but don't bet on a bucket. Squids are aplenty after 10pm on some days so come prepared. :) Food prices are as like any cafe in SG. For Cheaper foods and goodies, venture out to the city and street side foods.

i visit batam for business quite often. staying at pacific was a luxury. they have a really nice massage centre. and rooms are just amazing. best of the best 4 star hotels ive stayed at in batam. no complains. the hotel has spa, massage, ktv, disco. and of course amazing food. i will recommend you stay here if you are planning a visit to the island. you will not forget its beautiful structure and its really close to everything you need. just next to the hotel, go out and turn right there is a great nasi padang place for meals.. and there is a food court behind the hotel for late night munchies. the gym is also pretty cool with a table tennis table incase you are bored... try all the massages you can while you are there. worth every dollar!

Private secure road entrance to a very smart hotel, spacious, quiet. Beautiful manicured gardens and palm trees with coconuts and the odd wild monkey! 4 attractive pools, several restaurants (including an excellent japanese cuisine) and pool side bars. A long jetty with a bar, very romantic! wonderful place for a 'special weekend' a honeymoon or simply some peace with fantastic sunsets. Rooms modern, crisp, white with good room service. Mine had wonderful view over pools and the private beach. I stayed 6 days and loved every moment. If traveling alone suggest you bring own laptop and books. I would return again and can highly recommend. Have toured Batam island and it is by far the best resort!

My stay at Swiss belhotel harbour bay was GREAT! It is near the Harbour Bay ferry terminal. 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal with a shelter walkway. We arrived at 11am and was allow to check in early without any charges. Checking-in was fast we have booked the Grand Deluxe for 3D2N. The hotel room was really amazing,lighting wise very romantic, the room was very luxury and very well tidy. Hotel Lobby Indeed a 4stars Hotel! lobby was very luxury! hardly to find such a nice hotel in batam. Security was very tight we feel very safe staying in this hotel. Hotel Room/Bed/wifi Room is well sized. Mine came with a King bed. Fittings are good and most important, good internet connectivity and fast!The hotel bed was super comfortable 10/10. We quickly fall asleep upon lying on the bed. Hotel Bathroom Bathroom has a seperated shower & bathtub. Was very well maintained and clean. Amenities was sufficient. Bathrobe was provided too. In-Room Dining Requested for in-room dining. Services was excellent! delivered our food on time. But the food was just alright. Hope it can be improved. Hotel Taxi Requested for hotel Taxi to NAGOYA HILL SHOPPING MALL. Cost $100000 SGD $13 for 2 way transport Is quite expensive but we can arrange the timing for them to pick us up. Picking up timing was very on time. Breakfast Breakfast timing is from 6am to 10am. Notes: Best to go breakfast early as it will be quite crowded because the dining area is quite small Could only hold up to 100 pax. The food is varied enough for everyone to enjoy. Seafood!! Had our dinner at wey wey seafood. 5 minutes walk from swiss belhotel harbour bay. Food was cheap & nice:) Overall i am very satisfied with this hotel. AWESOME!! Will definetly come back to Swiss Belhotel harbour bay if i am going to vist batam again.

checked in apr19th 2017 wed room no 904 - arrived 9.30am(local time) .From Harbour bay terminal around 5-10min journey by taxi (Idr 50,000=Sing$5.00) As early check in not available due to no room available ,.Reception staff very polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and toiletries complete.King size bed and room is big and spacious. Breakfast selection very good and quality and taste very good. Location very good ;5 mins to nagoya hill shopping mall (idr 50,000) -about 12min walk. Near to mosque (3min) and pasar mlm nearby . 3min to 24hhr Macdonald. 3mins to Sederhana Rest (nasi Padang-cheap and delicious food ) . Convenient location . Night market (jodoh)daily in front of hotel . Very .Good 4 stars hotel . Tip : even no room 904 --front view o f hotel .(view of jodoh market) uneven no 903 -back view of hotel (view of sea and mcDonald ,mosque) Taxi from hotel counter slightly expensive than normal rate. Can get outside Taxi just round the corner of hotel toward Mcdonald (1min walk). Can rent a car with driver for Idr400,000-500,000(sing$50) for the whole day . Can travelled around Batam island with ease of mind and save on tranportation cost. Most of the taxi will rent their car for the whole day.

Rooms are large and comes with bathtub. Beware that the room details on the Agoda Booking page states Whirlpool bathtub but when i was there there is only a regular bathtub not as stated whirlpool bathtub but nonetheless i am really pleased at the size of my room and the amenities that come with it. the breakfast is good, simple and deliscious! free transport is provided to Nagoya Hill, BCS and Mega Mall Batam Center. the vehicles will be minivans and mini buses as the roads in batam are small and filled with potholes. overall ill go for this hotel again when i am in batam.

Was there to celebrate my 2 yrs old son birthday which falls on Christmas Day. Booked 4 days 3 night. Hotel provided arrival land transfer from Harbour Bay Terminal. About 10 mins from ferry terminal. Check in was a breeze even though we arrived the hotel earlier than check in time. Given a sea-view Room 903 at 9th floor. Abit of confusion as my room access card stated Room 903 but my breakfast slip stated Room 927. But then, who cares. Most importantly, I can access my room. The deluxe room is big and spacious. A king-size bed, 4-chair dining table, 2 chair coffee table, flat screen tv, empty fridge, bath tub etc. Requested for more pillows and blanket and was given extra 4 pillows and 3 blankets. Room service's great! Clean our room twice a day. 1 in the morning while we having breakfast. Another time in the afternoon. Breakfast main dish was local food. Buffet style of mee goreng, nasi goreng, maggie goreng, rice cakes, chicken opor, cereals, croissants station, porridge and vegetarian. I booked the Christmas Dinner which cost $30 per pax. It was a freaking let down. No roast turkey as stated in e brochures. Instead its a cold roast meat. Pasta marinara is more to a salty fish pasta. Lemon Fish and Rendang beef is also very salty. The soup is too sweet. In the end, we ate more to the dessert. The Pisang Bakar is nice. We spend less than 15 mins there. We bought cakes and Intended to celebrate my son birthday in e restaurant but the place is quite dead. We cut the cake in e room and distribute to the concierge. As we are still hungry, we intended to go out of the hotel for hot snacks. The security guard took the initiatives to take our orders. He said its drizzling and dark outside. He will buy the food for us instead. What a great gesture by the hotel security! Go-kart is within hotel compound. Friendly service staff. Given more than the stated 10 mins ride. The staff even took photos of us racing. Overall, my stayed there is fun and accommodating.

Overall i would say worth the stay defitnaly will stay at the hills on my other visit to batam and defitnaly will recomend to others. More info please read my review below. If you carry on reading previous review, yes hotel is not new but they did well to maintain the hotel under the new managemant they are renovating rooms. My stay was plasent with lovely hotel service from bellboy to front desk even the house keeping gave a plasent service with smiles. Hotel location is just opposite nagoya hill mall, spar house all around the hotel and yes i visited nagoya city where theres alot of shops where local get their groceries with just 10mins walk from the hotel, provided you can withstand the schorching sun ray. Other option is that you can ask for inhouse taxi service at the front desk. Walking will be the best way to explore but bemindful of the traffic.

The direct ferry makes it very convenient to get to the resort, although it takes an extra hour to get to the island. The staff are very friendly and well spoken. They will try their best to cater to your needs. Food in the resort is slightly pricey, but breakfast was fantastic. If you'd like, you can rent a car (250,000 IDR/way) to go out to the local hawker centre for lunch. The beach is really nice and this is great for a short weekend getaway to recharge for the upcoming week!

I happen to visit Batam with family for one night stay here at Planet Holiday hotel. The property is one of best properties in the town at a great location and very good value for money ( in fact, one of the best properties at the cheapest available rates). Overall ambience, cleanliness, staff hospitality, location and facilities are great. Highly recommended for any tourist visiting Batam Island.

We visited Batam View Beach resort for a weekend away from our hectic jobs in Singapore. We booked two adjoining superior rooms. From entering to Batam Nongsapura till departing we were taken care by the hotel staff. A steward was waiting at the ferry terminal to guide us in express across the immigration process and in fact we reached the hotel in 15mins from the time of arriving at the terminal. The check in was smooth and the rooms were ready and prepared for our arrival. The resort was a good pool along with a poolside bar. There are also some nice activities which can be done like water sports, badminton and tennis. Cycles are also available for rental. The rooms we stayed in had good pool and beach views. The room was comfortable and the toilets clean and well maintained. There are multiple food options in the resort. The complimentary breakfast is not elaborate but nice and simple indonesian and western food. All the food served at the restaurants both Wang Melati and Kelong Seafood are great. No complaints with especially the seafood restaurant because it was a great sea view. The resort also provides prepaid car rental services with driver to go to the city and return. A very great service considering that Nongasapura is kind of far away from the city Saturday nights seems to be the most happening nights of the week. There is lots of activity at the islander lounge with people dancing and having fun and a live band to accompany with. There are pool tables and dart boards for fun. Outside, there is a pool side BBQ for having a relaxing dinner and enjoying the company of your friends and loved ones. Overall, it was a great weekend away from our busy schedules and would mind returning to the resort once in few months just to calm and relax myself out.
