it was a short trip to amritsar for a visit to the golden temple, jalianwalah bagh and wagah border. i had book 2 deluxe rooms in the hotel and as expected the hotel was full on the weekend. this helped us get an upgrade to a dimension suite in exchange of one of the deluxe room and it was simply awesome. we stayed at the 3rd floor and the rooms were just awesome. ...

Ideally located on G.T. Road and just ten minutes drive away from Golden Temple The Hyatt Regency Amritsar is a Land Mark property .We are thankful to the front desk officers for obliging us with an early check in. The staff was efficient, friendly and helpful. Small Lobby with contemporary ambience gave good positive vibes. A reasonably good breakfast spread and you...

Excellent stay! I booked this hotel as a surprise for my wife. She and I loved it and didn't want to leave! Everything from the staff, room, food, and location was excellent. We extended our stay for 1 night and tried to extend again the next day but unfortunately they were booked solid and had no available rooms

Great experience with the Hotel, the staff was very courteous. We had given time of arrival as 2AM, but was running late. The staff was generous enough to call us at 2.30AM just to check our arrival status, which was a nice gesture. even though we arrived at 3AM the staff was there and ready for a quick Check in. Overall the experience was excellent. The location...

We had two rooms, one was very elegant and plush with large rugs on the floor and an upholstered bench outside the bathroom. The other room had cold wooden flooring and a dark bathroom area. The lighting in both rooms were quite low so it wasn't great for putting on makeup whilst at the mirror. Having said this, there was one thing that would make me return and that...

Pros: the location, the rooms and fair cleanliness Cons: a slight rigid policies... E.g. no consession for check in 12 hours prior to the actual booking...just to spend the night we had to pay the full 24 hour charge...breakfast from the buffet could not be delivered to room...we would have been happier if these small things were taken into consideration...no other con...

Great location with Golden Temple(2min walking distance)... Tuk tuk and taxi service outside hotel.. with lotss food choices and shopping mall... Hotel food superbbbb too.. cheap and tasty... Staff very friendly with fast responce too... Overall 10/10 ... Thanks to all staff for make my trip great... Will sure book again in future

A family with two kids should opt for the suite we stayed at it has a living room kinda space which makes the bed room quite and noiseless of television noise. although the pool is small but good enough for kids. Staff is very helpful, in all a comfortable stay. Although i booked through Agoda i would still like to suggest that the reward points should be added to the ...

The hotel staff were great-they helped book a trip to the border ceremony for me, helped with organising airport transfers, etc. The location was good-quiet and only a short auto trip to the golden temple-much better to stay outside the old city-quieter and the hotel was of a much higher standard than those I saw inside the old city. Would definitely stay here again.

First stay here at BW Summerlea. Good value for $. Executive room. Free WiFi and breakfast buffet. Decent sized room. My only issues- AC not very cold- end of winter so not terribly hot but would be a bigger issue during warmer months. WiFi very spotty in room to the point where on occasion it was not usable. Room windows are not sound proof- large gap between window...

I stayed at cabbanna for a month . The hotel is five star Indian style which by UK standard is 4 star . The hotel is immaculate all communal areas and gardens are well kept . The swimming pool was very very dirty when I arrived it was one of the reasons I booked this hotel as had pool. I spoke with staff and pool got treated and cleansed within 2 days . The pool ...

Location of this property is nice. Good market around with nice food offered in the morning to start with, but the best is if you wanted to explore the place better do it through the local auto. I found the staff good and helpful. We explored the city and Wagah using the local auto as he offered a good package for two days including wagah border. This guy (Mr.Karnail ...

I loved staying in the hotel and it was good experience. Breakfast was fine but i haven't liked their tea and coffee.. One of thing I faced problem is i told their Drivers to get me few things from car and they refused which was very annoying.. i had to go myself to get my things from car from parking.. Otherwise hotel is Great.

This hotel is fabulous. We have stayed here twice now and each time we have loved our stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, food is lovely you can eat like a king. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. They would always go out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We will definitely be coming back and staying here again...

Had a one night lay over in Amritsar before flying off the next day after visiting relatives and had a very good stay at the hotel. when in amritsar- there are only 2 places to stay- 1.best western 2. hyatt. The best western provides all the facilities of a 5 star hotel for the price of a 4 star hotel. i went with my family as we had to go to the golden temple, and i can easily say that the hotel was as per our expectation- comfy and clean. The location could have been better but all in all a great...

The A/C was a bit noisy and it would also make sense to have one of the windows which could be opened to let fresh air in. The extraction fan in the toilet did not work but one could survive without it. Otherwise, it was one place that I would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is so near the Golden Temple that you can walk out without your footwear which is why we choose this hotel. But the hotel is in poor condition though the manager and hotel staff try their best to make up for the poor condition of the hotel. Hotel amenities are basic, room is small and barely fit an extra bed. The lock of our door was spoilt and there were m...

I would have rated 5/5 had there been no issue with Breakfast. This was 2nd short stay of my parents with Hotel. Last time everything went well. This time it was told that due to less number of reservations, Hotel has decided not to have Buffet Breakfast and requested food will be served on the table. They were running out of time, so couldn't enjoy the 1st meal of th...
Cheap places to stay in Punjab

My last review stated (stayed 1 night) Reception guy Harmon moved me upstairs. BPN is central to sights, all in walking distance. In incomplete building works for a 3rd floor should complete in 6 months! A gr8 stay, will be better down the track. Will come back for sure.

We stayed here for 1 night after our trip from Pakistan and on our way to Kashmir, the owner is kind enough to keep our luggage until we return. Staff are very friendly and always smile. Our flight home is late at night and the owner is kind enough to let us have a late check out with a very minimal fees. The room and toilet is clean. Hotel location is the best. It is ...

This is indeed probably the best hostel in India. The facilities are clean, staff are friendly and laidback. There's cheap tours but no pressure whatsoever to do them. The space is cool, with artwork on the walls and inspiring quotes handwritten by travellers. The highlight for me was the kitchen where you can make your own coffee - by donation - using coffee beans, a ...

Wow I loved this hostel. No one told me to write a review and I didn't even like the apathetic staff members. They were not helpful, not particularly friendly, and apathetic. I've been traveling for 2.5 years and this hostel and it's beds, rooftops, and facilities we're all top notch. It's a beautiful hostel and one of the next hostels I've stayed in maybe ever. WiF...

The place is located very closed to the main road. I was there a few hours early, it was winter and I was shaking like hell because of the cold. The receptionist was very considerate and let me to check in early. The staff even provided me with heater. This place is highly recommended.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Oyo Surya courtesy friendly staff and value for money deals. The room is big and spacious with comfortable beds, great AC, Hot waters and LED TV. The complimentary breakfast is great and staffs obliged to serve an early breakfast to me which made my stay more memorable. Both the managers are excellent caring and always greet you while ...

We stayed three nights. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere that is both friendly and customer focussed. Throughout our stay we felt at home and the room was good for our needs. The wifi was fast and our room was bright and clean. The staff responded to our requests with courtesy and efficiency, and the owner was very helpful and accommodating with our early arrival and...

Hotel was only 200 mtrs away from darbar sahib which is the USP of this hotel. The issue is the approach and the entrance of this hotel which is very bad and needs to be looked upon. Also taking the breakfast option is not so much worth as they have very limited options available and serve them in your room as hotel is not so big. Room I took was interconnected rooms ...

Stayed Here For One Night We Booked one Regular Room Standard Standard Room Is Very Good Neat And clean Ane One Best Thing Complimentary Pick Up So Nice Of Prabhjot Singh. I Have One call To Prabhjot Cab Have Available In Railway complimentary Breakfast Is Very Delicious I Have Again Stay Hotel City castle

The room is clean and the location is very close to the Golden Temple. However, the location is not easy not for the visitor but also to the locals. Even the taxi driver at the airport could not find the location. But the management is good enough to let me check in at an early hour of the day. Sometimes the high voltage electricity especially for the a/c did not...

We stayed in the hotel with my 2 daughters for 2 nights. Here's a quick short review. 1. The Hotel is one of the best locations you can get. It's just a few minutes walk away from all the prominent places like Golden Temple, Jaleanwala Bagh and Shopping places. Partition Museum is literally 200m away. This means you can go to these places any time; even late in th...

one of the best hotel in ludhiana for budget as well as near to station. OYO rooms are the worst now a days. , generally i booked the hotel through OYO, but due to quality of hotel in OYO are worst, i have switched over to other then OYO. i also request all to black list the room booking with OYO. this is best hotel, nice staff and location wise ideal.

I along with my family members avail the facilities of the hotel. Though rooms are not so spacious, but neat and clean. The staff are well behaved. This is located in the center place. 5 minutes away from railway station and 10 minutes away from Golden temple and Durgiana temple. One draw back is there is no restaurant in the hotel. But room service is available.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think they need more improvement about the facilities and cleanness. We got room in the 3rd floor and no lift. Also, it will hard to use stairs for elder. The blanket is very smelly and there is not heater/ electricity blanket in the room so it is very cold during winter. However, the hot water is running well.

This is a perfect mid-range hotel. We stayed in an executive room for 2 nights in November and loved it. Rooms were small but clean and there was hot water available 24 hours from the ...

My stay was very comfortable because of people like bhupendar in the reception and all the staff in the coffee shop. The chefs of the great kebab factory should be applauded for the taste .... Hotel itself is nice and in a great location. Our stay was great until it was time to check out. We had several rooms and were quoted 29000 for room service upon checkout. It was a good stay in Aveda Hotel, I did not expect the quality of Hotel and the service that much as pay the average hotel rate. Aveda Hotel is the 5 star hotel, it allows you to stay on your vacation or even your business trip. The hotel staff was quite friendly and very service oriented. I will go back to this hotel again on my next trip.
