Generally it is a nice hotel. A Taxi Company is just opposite the hotel. The room and especially the bath room are very small. But if one stays only for one or two night it is ok. If you pay that room price in the US you will get a much bigger room with more comfort. The hotel is not directly at the Fjord, there is a small street (no traffic, it is a very small street...

Just okay. Got what I need, wifi in the room so I could work. Got the new room, so quiete okay. Restaurant staff are friendly (like them), but at the reception I didn't feel I was welcomed. For us, the biggest issue is the kind of very bad fish smell. Location and facilities are not bad, if you are not expecting a lot.
This is not a hotel, it's a Rorbuer. Anyone comes here should not be expecting modern comfort of any kind. It's a Rorbuer! Surrounding nature is the main draw. The location is in a fjord with breathtaking scenery.

Location of the place is not great if you are lugging your baggage from the ferry terminal. It took us a while to find the place even though the receptionist gave instructions, but as a first time visitor to Svolvaer, it was hard to locate the exact house. i ask for Seaview room during reservation but I got the "no view" room.The room, bed & even bath room is very tiny even for Asian people like us. U can't even spend time in room beside of sleeping. There is only space for 2 single bed, small sofa chair for single , a small walking space after put in 2 luggage begs. Very basic hotel ,No value at money.

The hostel has only 5 rooms and they all share 2 toilets. Simply no check-in/out service and they will send you door codes in advance. Location is a bit difficult to find but that’s why the view is amazing. Just next to the Lofoten diving if u plan to do some diving or snorkeling.

This place is just 3 mins drive from the city center. i suspect that the room may not be cleaned everyday for a self-service house. It has two floor. The three beds are on the second floor in U sharp. Some people may not like that. The bed could be too small for some people. The lake view is perfect. it could be seen from the room.

Fantastic, i had a great time at Marmelkroken. The staff Lis is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean with great view. It was indeed one of the most unforgettable stay in my 2 weeks trip in Norway. Great place.

Room is big enough for 2 people, heater works well, clean and cozy interior, though the bed is a bit too soft but acceptable. It takes around 30 minutes walk to the downtown but it is good if you like walking. Overall I will recommend it for someone who is travelling in a budget.
