I strongly recommend that the male staff go on a customer service course. Crap service received! You are front desk/ concierge... a smile as guest walk into your hotel is standard practice! We request to book a taxi on Friday evening at 6pm and a male staff say sorry we are too busy! He hands me a card so I can call for one myself! What sh!t service is this? We are not from Korea so do not have a local phone to make phone call, There was 3 of you standing there and you say you are too busy. so pathetic! Yes you have a soccer team staying so the public guests get poor service, I spotted a few staff standing there watching soccer on tv instead of paying attention to guests! Despite the humans crap service the room was very nice and offered adequate comfort. Well done RAMADA, on a serious note - senior management team, please take some action and sort out your male staff! They have such stinky attitude! Why would I recommend this hotel if your staff don’t give a dam about their customers.

Stayed here for 5 nights in the room with terrace, Location is slightly difficult to find, but its because we were doing a self drive trip, and couldn't locate it on the GPS. Otherwise, the location of the hotel is fantastic! Located in the heart of JIFF(Jeonju International Film Festival) square with tons of food, youngsters, and claws machine. You won't go hungry here. Front Reception staffs were helpful despite of a language barrier, they still tried their very best to help us, only a handful of them could speak english. Room was good, very spacious, with great television with wifi! The few negative points was that the walls of the terrace was low, and we know that our neighbour were having a birthday party, and we heard noises, which made us so scared that we thought they have climbed over, and also the door should have a latch, because on the same night someone knocked on our door, and the peephole was blocked. We were about to freak out that night. But nonetheless, really great stay!

We had a very pleasant stay. We where prepared to see some anonimous big hotel as it looks like that from the pictures. But it actually is not. Its not extremely big which is a pleasant surprise. Location is superb. When driving there i got a little worried because The road is full of pedestrians, but its actually only a short stretch like that. And as a reward the hotel appears to be right at the beach, in the middle of all the action. Hotel is yet very clean and very modern. No shabbyness, nothing to complain. Breakfast though is a bit minimal. Just some bread with chickensalad. Quality is very ok, its just not so much. But i would not see that as a dealbreaker. When going here, just do this hotel, its probably the best you can get. Around the hotel many fishrestaurants with very very fresh fish.

The Gunsan Hotel is right next to the bus station so it is really easy to get to. Its also with in walking distance gyeongam-dong railroad through town. We had a car so it was about a 10 min drive to everywhere else in town. Also clean and has buffet breakfast. They were a little slow to refill the buffet but that was on Saturday morning of a big holiday weekend and we visited when it is fairly new. I think that will get better with practice. Good place to stay!

We had trouble finding the hotel. It took us a couple of hours of roaming around and asking directions to find the place because the hotel is not yet part of the GPS navigator software (it was opened just a few months ago we've been told). Also, the location of the hotel on the map on Agoda gives only a rough idea of the location because the neighborhood streets are not yet mapped for some reason. But, for all the trouble, the hotel manager gave us a 50% discount and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room we had was great: very stylish design, large bedroom and bathroom. Very comfy. Overall, I'd recommend the Classic Hotel, it was an overall pleasant stay.

Very happy with the way this place is kept. The music they play outside at night with the lighting and the landscape is a recipe for a very pleasant afternoon/ nightly stroll. The restaurant food was decent and price reasonable. Staff were more than accomodating and very pleasant. They have an onsite cafe/ convenience store also which is convenient. The room is clean and a reasonable size. Bed was comfortable. Waking up to the view of the mountain and the green lawns were very pleasing in the late summer of August. A short cab ride to the Hanok village and nearby famous Jeonju restaurants. This would be the only place i would visit on my return to Jeonju. No other gym or pool facilities at this hotel.

We stayed in a double room for two nights in January. It was very clean, modern and large enough for two persons, and has floor-heating, so we didn't feel chilly at all. A large TV, a water-boiler, free bottles of water and soft drink were available. Rooms are cleaned if you stayed more than two nights. For breakfast toasts, rice-porridge, soup, a few fruits and Kimchi were available. It's possible to walk to the hotel from the express bus terminal if you don't have big luggage (30 min). Taxi costs a few dollars, so it's recommended. The Hanok Village and other main tourist places are also near by (20min.). We would like to stay in this hotel if we ever come to Jeonju in the future.

In terms of accessibility it may not be so convenient because you would either have to drive or take a taxi to get to and from the hotel. But the ride to the main town area is not too long (around 15 mins if I recall correctly)and getting a taxi from the hotel was not an issue either. The location itself is quiet and relaxing with a nice view. The room (and bathroom) was spacious. I can't really comment on the dining options because we usually went out, but the hotel is rather isolated. Overall, the highlight had to be the friendly staff who were very helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

originally we planned to stay in chonju, however all the hotels had been booked out due to the peak season for naejangsan, so we ended up booking this hotel instead. gunsan is actually only an hour away by bus from jeongup (which is where naejangsan is), so gunsan could be a good place to stay overnight if you could not find anything closer. the staff of the hotel were very helpful even they didnt speak very good language but they tried very hard to help me out. as gunsan is not a city for tourists, the hotel doesnt really have much travel info that you would expect from other hotels. this is still a very good hotel for people who have to stay in gunsan.

Hotel room is clean and spacious, equipped with facilities that are comparable to a 4 or 5 star hotel, such as mobile phone charging cables, desktop computer. Free breakfast was provided even though it was not stated in the booking confirmation. However, the main entrance of the hotel is not obvious, just look like a rear entrance. Hotel staff can only speak Korean, posing a great communication problem for tourists.

The guesthouse is just past the Namcheon Bridge but kind of hidden from the main street of the Hanok Village. You have to go down an alley beside a small eatery (that serves a very homely bowl of clam noodles btw). 4 of us (adults), luggage and all was a bit of a squeeze for a single room. But it was pretty comfortable and warm. There's even a common area in the house for you to sit down and drink some tea (complementary). The kindly owner hardly speaks English but was extremely helpful. The night before checkout, we asked him to help us get a taxi to the Jeonju Bus Terminal. I suppose there was some miscommunication between booking & calling because on the next morning, all the taxi's were busy when he tried to call one. So he walked us all the way across town to the local bus stop and helped us onto the right bus. Thumbs up for service recovery!

The room is spacious and clean. I am sensitive to sleeping environment, but the beds are so comfortable and the air con is cold enough for me to sleep well. The beds are soft - contrary to the usual Korea beds that tend to be quite hard. The location is very good. It is quite near to the Hanok village and many other attractions. You can walk over, but if you are lazy, you can take a cab which is quite cheap. Furthermore, the hotel staff are nice enough to help you get one. I really like the unique movie theme of this hotel. They really mean business - there is a floor with lots of movie dvds - you can take one and insert one into the computer and watch movies for the whole day. The movies range from western, chinese, korean, asian etc - there is something for all! There are even books and magazines related to movies and directing. It is super cool. The cafe sells really good drinks. It is definitely a good place to chill out at or engage in a business talk. It is quaint and quiet enough. The best of this hotel is the service. I would like to specially compliment this staff whose name I don't know of, but I hope the manager gets to see this. It was on 8 July, Friday. The receptionist at night was very helpful in helping us out with the booking of the express bus from jeonju to busan although it is an issue that was not related to the hotel. Firstly, she tried her best to understand me by using naver translation and she tried to communicate to me patiently about what the korean words were about on the express bus website. Secondly, when she realised that I could not use my card to book, she even used her own personal card to book and allowed me to pay her in cash. For this,I am very thankful and am really impressed by how she was willing to go all the way to help me. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

This is a nice hotel. .... BUT, Kunsan is "reclaiming" land and this hotel is on some of the new land. It's quite aways from the city and from the military base. It's a little closer to the new attractions and sea food and fish market and the causeway bridge head ... Typical of many Asia hotels, there is no electrical plug for an electric razor anywhere near a mirror. The bathroom fixtures and new and modern, but not quite as functional as less modern looking fixture. Also, many Asian hotels do not have anywhere to hang towels after use, this is one of them.

Near home plus big bldg “yi ching gu” (managers name) he was very accommodating ,he even helped us looked for bus schedules I think its 3-4 story bldg, my first impression is that its very clean and well organized, I love the interior its simple but gives you lively feeling because of the bright color. The room is very spacious and the bed is very big for 2 average size person . The basic toiletries like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush , comb, and i suppose the bottle labeled “rinse” is the conditioner? They also have hair dryer and tower. And strong wifi in our room.Breakfast is great they have bread which u can toast, butter, strawberry jam, orange juice, they also have this coffee maker with brewed type if you want stronger coffee, orange juice and unlimited water . The manager is kind , he even drove us to the terminal , upon seeing our luggage. A little language barrier but not a major issue I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND I WILL DEFINITELY BOOK IT AGAIN!

I booked the ondol room for my one day stay in Jeonju. - Room, the room it self is interesting, sleeping on floor is definitely a new experience. It is very simple but clean. Coffee is instant and seems a bit old but you don't have to use it anyway. - Location, it's not far from city centre, there's also café right next to the Hotel so it's easy to get breakfast and coffee. - Service, the Korean receptionist is very friendly and trying hard to speak in English. - VFM, it is not cheap compares to Hotel Le win (supposed to be the most expensive one in whole town) For this price I am expecting better supplement in the room (at least better coffee or local tea...). - Positive point, the hotel it self is new and clean which is the reason why I booked it instead of Le win. Heard it is a bit old and decayed ...

it is absolutely a good-to-stay hotel in jeonju! really no regret after trying their warm guesting manner! with delicious breakfast, comfortable, clean and safe room! with best location which takes us only five minutes walk to both suburban and express bus terminals! of course the bus stops are just nearby too reaching nearly most attractions in jeonju! however the price is really at a good rate! no excuses not giving all top stars to arirang!

It was difficult to find directions to the hostel from the bus terminal and it takes a bit of GPS work to get to the bus stop to take a bus to the hostel. It is located on the second floor or an office-look-alike building, one will need to pass through the doors in the middle in the building and go up a storey. The hostel is, however, within walking distance of the hanok village, that also has the mural village and Catholic Church nearby. It was a simple hostel, the space in to the dorms were some of the slimmest and smallest I've ever encountered, but there were big locker spaces under the bunks beds which is brilliant. The blinds also help to block out the light when you'd like to get some good eye shut. The washroom is simple, clean. I had some difficulties trying to get the sweet spot water temperature for showering, but often ended up with water just too hot or too cold. I did not manage to have breakfast, but I saw a notice on the countertop that states that they have difficulties proving eggs for breakfast, so may need to check with them beforehand what will breakfast be, if you intend to have breakfast.

We stayed in this rather remote location because my husband was to be in a race that weekend. We were so grateful to find a decent hotel near the start line. This hotel was also much cheaper than many other hotels nearby. The weather that weekend was awful, as a typhoon was expected to hit and the race was cancelled but the hotel stay left us with no regrets. The staff was SO helpful and kind. Mr. Park happily shuttled us to a nearby restaurant for dinner and picked us up and Mrs. Park drove me to the bus stop in the morning and let me wait in her dry car until the bus arrived. What a bonus! The room was clean and everything worked. We were even able to understand the multi-function remote control easily! That one can be a pain but we stayed in comfort and style and had a fabulous breakfast in the morning. The only thing missing was bacon. :) An excellent value for money! We will definitely stay there again next time.

The guest house is located within the hanok village itself. From the main hanok village street walk all the way to just before end of the street, you will see the guest house. It is just behind the tourist information center. The guest house/room is the no-frills kind. It is really clean and nice. The host is a great host who did his best to make sure his guest had a comfortable stay. Highly recommended to stay at this guest house, I would stay at this guest house again if I visit jeon -ju again.

We booked two rooms for 4 adults. The room size is compact but big enough for two people with two big luggage. It is also surprisingly warm and cozy specially during the night when it was sub zero. The breakfast line is relatively small with slices of a few fruit served with bread and jam, though you can have as much as you'd like. But as it is also a cafe it means you can enjoy a good fresh quality coffee for breakfast too instead of just a normal filter or instant coffee. It also offers a nice view of the Hanok village for breakfast. Wifi internet is not very strong but good enough for Instagram and Facebook. There's no kitchen and you will not be allowed to cook, but Jeonju itself is listed as UNESCO World Heritage for its cuisine so eating out is compulsory anyway. Overall this is a very nice guesthouse, right in the middle of the Hanok Village, very good priced, and we'd definitely stay here again and will recommend to our friends.

Me and my 2 friends had a very pleasant stay at this guesthouse, the host gave good advice on what to visit and where to eat, gave advice and directions on transportation and even made an effort to drop us at the train station on the morning when we were leaving. I love the small garden tastefully nurtured by the lady host. This is my first 1-star hotel/guesthouse experience but it was a real good one I must say. They provide simple bread toast for breakfast and we were happy since it is a 1-star place.

There were six adults, two toddlers and one infant. We rented two family rooms- one for 4 adults and one for 2 adults and the children. As is with all traditional hanoks, there was just enough room for all of us to sleep in a row and have our suitcases on one end. The towels and the bedding were all freshly washed and dried and the room was impeccable. They also provide a mini fridge with two complimentary 500 ml water bottles, and a hairdyer. They had a TV in there too but we didn't really watch, since we were there to tour around. This is not a real traditional hanok, but was rather a building converted to look like a hanok. If this is important for you, you should look elsewhere for the authentic experience. The location was excellent- within a five minute walk was the entrance to the palace housing the king's portrait and the cathedral was also nearby. The location is ideal because it was inside the village but far away from the hordes of tourists which would have made it very loud and night and during the daytime. The owner was great, he even gave us recommendations on where to eat and which sights to go see. Parking is also available- we rented a mini van and were able to park in front of the guesthouse. I will definitely re-book this place if I visit Jeonju again.

The guesthouse is simple but yet gives you a homey feeling. Room and bathroom was basic and sufficient for my family (2 adults and 2 young kids). Location was excellent and a short walk to the main street of the Hanok village. Private parking is available a short walk from the guesthouse. The breakfast was Korean style with rice, side dishes and soup, and all of them were outstandingly good. The owner even made changes to the side dishes and soup on day to day basis.
