Excellent location of hotel, less than 5 minutes walk from the train station & the main shopping street. Corina, the Front desk staff is extermely helpful. She always walks an extra mile to meet the customer's needs. My husband & I are light sleepers. As requested, Corina assigned a quiet room to us. We enjoyed a peaceful stay of 5 nights in the hotel. In addition, the view inside the room is good, facing Jungfrau. The other front desk staff are also polite and friendly. We also enjoyed the food & service in the restaurant. I find Petru, a waitor extrmely helpful & hardworking. He bears in mind of needs of a customer and always tries his best to meet them. He has an excellent work attitude. He enjoys and respects his work. I suppose the staff recruitment and training of this hotel must be very successful . I thoroughly enjoyed my long stay in this hotel and would strongly recommend it to the other travellers ! Cindy

Everything was perfect in Interlaken Hotel! Just rated 4 stars on value for money as overall price is high in Switzerland. Staffs were very kind, breakfast was good, shared shower was very clean and the hotel restaurant at ground floor was great. We were touched when the staff arranged to prepare breakfast bag to go when we said that we need to check out early in the next morning. :) One thing to note is that the elevator only goes upto 4th floor, so if you booked 5th floor (with shared bathroom), you should use stairs from 4th floor. Overall, very satisfied stay and I will definitely book this hotel if I visit Interlaken again.

Strategic location, near to the train station. It is very convenient if you were to take a tour to Jungfraujoch as it is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel to the train station. We were so lucky to get free upgrade to the nearby sister hotel (Hotel Spinne) which is a 4 stars hotel. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to spend your holidays in Grindelwald

We booked this hotel very last minute after the Airbnb we had booked fell through. The check in process was quick and the staff were very informative. Special mention to Yannik and John who were both incredibly attentive throughout our stay. A charming hotel with a few extras that made it that little bit more special (free bus tickets, afternoon tea included, secure wifi, breakfast included etc). The location was very convenient for visiting the local area and the staff were happy to provide information regarding the surrounding bus routes and attractions. Nothing was too much of an ask and the customer service was second to none. Would definitely book here again.

We felt nice and warm with the smile and "welcome drink", when we tired from long train trip. It's impressed me. Location is great, next to train station, and take less 10 mins to main street. Even the hotel is close to station, you can have car shuttle service if need. You can gave great view when you see through the restaurant or the balcony. But I believe lots of 4 stars hotel is same in this village. The building has history and old look, but the status of equipment is fine. BTW, it has sunas and just need to book reservation with reception. No extra fee.

This is the best hotel during my 18 days of swiss trip. Located 10 minutes walk from Grindelwald train station. If you have lots of luggage, I suggest you to call the hotel to pick you up at no costs. It also includes a free bus ticket during your stay and free entrance to the local swimming and sport centre. I stayed in south-facing balcony room,superb view of the mountain. The welcome fruit basket was very heartful. Hotel also provided bath balls for relaxation. The spa is well equipped with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. The complimentary relaxation tea was delicious. The hotel restaurant was very nice with good atmosphere and very delicious food. The staff was very friendly, there is a super market right across the hotel. Also there are many shops around the hotel which open till late. I highly recommend this hotel to those going to Grindelwald.

The hotel was just beside the train station. The room was smaller than expected, but clean and tidy in general. There are charging points near both beds. There is also daily room service. The view around the hotel is breathtaking. The hotel is linked with a restaurant. Breakfast is served at the restaurant daily. There are also supermarkets nearby. There is an information booth nearby where you can book tickets to go to Jungfraujoch. The train can be taken at the train station itself. Grindelwald BGF is also a 10 minute walk away if you wanted to take a cable car to Grindelwald First.

the hotel is about 5 minutes walk from train station and located next to the oldest village in the town. the hotel room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, balcony at every room with nice scenery. the hotel owner was very friendly, helped us with the luggage. free breakfast was simple but delicious, perhaps they could add more choices of food would be greater. overall, my family and i had the best stay at this hotel during our europe trip. best value with reasonable price in switzerland. absolutely recommend to everyone.

Very good experience, we were on honeymoon and the hotel provided us an upgraded room and a bottle of red wine (though we did not drink), which surprised us and made us feel warm welcome. The hotel has everything we need, balcony with nice view, big and clean bathroom, comfortable bed, washing machine and dryer, gym, sauna, mini bar, good restaurant, nice breakfast with variety, helpful staff, we would give 5 stars!

Stayed 3 nights during June summer in this hotel. It is about 10-15 mins walk from Interlaken OST station. There is a bus which you can take for just one stop but the frequency is 30 mins interval. Room is a little small but has free minibar for the first day which is recommendable. The hotel has no air con so the room gets a little stuffy and hot every time we return from outside. They provide a fan but sometimes not sufficient during summer weather! If you cannot sleep without air con then this is not the hotel for you. Tv is special - it is hidden in a compartment in front of the bed.. there is also a radio/alarm clock which is Apple compatible so you can play your music via your iphone.. Breakfast is ok with the standard variety of eggs, sausages, cheese, cold cuts, bread, fruits and cereals.

First, this hotel has a perfect location, its a walking distance from the Interlaken West station, close to the park, a lot of restaurants and grocery stores, and at the same time, has a really great view of the Alps. Second, the hotel staff is very helpful and accommodating. They helped us book our ski trip, showed us how to get around and were always ready to serve and answer our numerous queries with a smile. Third, the breakfast was good. They had cold cuts, cheese, salad, croissants, spreads, bacon, sausages, eggs, with a variety of juices. Lastly, the hotel upgraded us to a room much bigger than the one we booked with a breathtaking view of the Alps. Waking up everyday with the Alps in plain sight was the highlight of our Europe trip. With all that, we would definitely stay with Stella again. No doubt about it.

When deciding where to stay for our trip up Jungfraujoch... whether to commute back to Lucerne or stay in Interlaken. We opted for Interlaken. And it was the best decision considering the day trip alone was quite extensive with the changes in altitude. The hotel facilities matches with our requirements though having a microwave available would have been a plus. The staffs from reception to restaurant to housekeeping are friendly and efficient. We’d definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area.

The hotel was clean and pretty. We booked the room with air con as I saw other reviews said it would be a bit hot without air con. The hotel was 10 mins walk from the Interlaken west station and there were lots shops and restaurants around.. Breakfast was the best one we had among all the hotels we have stayed in swistzeland. I especially liked the variety of fruit they have provided.

I booked a superior twin room with mountain view for 2 nights for my family which includes a 6-yo child. Based on Agoda's guidelines, an extra bed is required for children aged 13 and above. As my child sleeps with me, I did not request for an extra bed. The receptionist insisted that an extra bed is necessary for my child and will not take no for an answer. The room looks smaller than the 28sqm stated. We had to manoeuvre carefully around the room. During the morning breakfast, they dictated exactly where we are to sit though most of the window seats are empty. When we requested to sit by the window, the answer is a curt "no". For such an expensive hotel, anyone will expect better service.

I love this hotel so much and we are sibling traveller. The hotel view was so nice and the weather just perfect to enjoy the outdoor activities. The breakfast provided was decent and dinner was awesome. This hotel was actually just located beside the cable car of grinderwald bahn while you talkig the gondola. We really recommend this lovely Swiss cottage for those who really want to have honeymoon or own leisure however a little challenge to bring the big luggage up to the hill.

This hotel was one of my favorite of all on our trip. My mom and I traveled together. Hotel De la Paix was conveniently located near downtown Interlaken and Interlaken West train station. You can walk there easily. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance also. The room was nice and clean, and the staff were very helpful, especially Charlotte. She went above and beyond to be helpful from getting us a fan to finding my mom's lost credit card and sending it to us. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Interlaken. I will definitely stay there again when I return next, hopefully soon. :)

I booked the hotel accidentally confusing it with Victoria Jungfrau, but it turned out to be the best stay of our trip. The room was super huge (we booked a family apartment), with wonderful views of the mountains, lovely Swiss houses, occasional trains, as well as horses and cows. The staff was all very kind, helpful, friendly and absolutely saved our day -- on our way to the Jungfrau I found that I had lost my wallet, and felt distressed, but when we came back to the hotel, it turned out that I had left it on the reception desk when we checked in, and the receptionist had kept it for us, which I was extremely grateful for (elsewhere it would just probably be lost). Breakfast was great -- loved the croissant in particular. The hotel was an easy commute -- just 5 minutes by train from Interlaken, and is on the way to Jungfrau. If you want to wind down after a long walk and enjoy a quiet evening amidst the breathtaking mountain views, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

i was hoping the hotel would be closer to the train station but it's quite a walk, slightly over 10min, from interlaken west (and much further from interlaken ost). the hotel is quite prominent as it's all red. you feel quite safe because the door is locked and needs to be accessed with hotel card. we arrived early and were given our rooms. there is no lift so pray that you get a room on the lower floor. the hotel is clean and is run by whom i assume are a husband and wife couple, very nice and helpful people who explain interlaken, its attractions to you patiently. all guests have a free pass for the buses in interlaken so that's very helpful! the hotel is near a few bus stops so that's more helpful than the trains. the room was clean and decent. nothing spectecular inside the room but it's good value for money. the two rooms we got both had mountain view so that was nice! breakfast is all right. nothing to complain about. something strange is that they do not allow food in rooms. you'll be fined if you cook instant noodles in the room. oh, they provide a coffee machine that uses capsules (similar to nespresso). overall, not bad for the price we paid.

We absolutely LOVE Interlaken! Staying at Hotel Metropole was the perfect location, right on the strip. We stayed on the 13th floor which for the best view on the city and made nights very quiet! We appreciated the staff being very helpful in giving us recommendations for what to see, where to eat, etc. Hotel Parking was no hassle to find very cheap, (8CHF/night). Overall, if we were lucky enough to get to come back to a Interlaken, we would definitely book with Hotel Metropole again!

Modern, clean and comfortable rooms at affordable prices (by Swiss Standards). This hotel is located right opposite the Bern Expo Center and is about a 15 minutes ride from the Bern Main Station and city center by Tram Number 9. It's also a 5 minute walk to the Stade de Swiss (Stadium). A large supermarket can be found in the stadium shopping complex. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Courteous and attentive staff. Convenient location within walking distance of Bern main station and within easy access to places of interest. Clean room with modern amenities. The hotel has recently undergone renovation. There were lots of activities happening at the piazza outside the hotel. However, the windows and veranda door are triple-layered tempered glass and totally sound proof. Breakfast was good with lots of healthy food with fruits. We will stay here again next time.
