We enjoyed our stay at the Park 10. It is in a very good location in close walking distance from some great restaurants (eg, Carmen). The staff were all very nice and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I feel the hotel is a little dated and the rooms are probably due for a refurbishment but overall a nice stay.

This had to have been the worst hotel in have ever been to. The room was the size of a jail cell and the staff knew absolutely no English. They were very rude and not helpful even when translator was used. The stench of the hotel was horrific. If you are in dire need of a hotel I would use this as a last resort next to sleeping outside.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayorca; the couple who runs it are caring and treat you like family. They always had time to sit down and chat, and practice Spanish with. Stella makes excellent breakfasts and goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy Medellin. When we visit the city in the future, we will stay with them again.
Know going into it that the hotel is not in the high end El Poblado neighborhood, but it is two blocks from metro. Downstairs restaurant fantastic, rooftop area a must visit at night. Loved our stay here.

Everything was a five star, especially the staff. However, the very loud music from the bar below until all hours of the night/morning was so overpowering that my earplugs and a pillow over my head did little to allow a good night's sleep. Good stay here, no frills, clean and modern apartment. Very comfortable stay. It was not very close to transportation, but it was easy to get around in cabs. There were not a ton of food options available in the area though.
