Prague 03 hotels & places to stay

Location-wise, this was a very good hotel, for it was located in front of a tram stop (5 and 26) and walking distance from great Pakistani, Mexican, and doener kebab places. Even as the actual check-in has to be in the Golden City Hotel (which is in front of this property), there were no hitches at all. The staff were available 24/7 and very friendly. About the only complaints we have are (1) the lighting, which we felt to be somewhat insufficient; and (2) the size of the shower area, which is disproportionately small with respect to the size of the bathroom itself. We would still recommend Residence Tabor.

from the airport: 119 get down at last stop then Take tube to station "Flora" and then take number 11 tram to this hotel. There is also Number 9 tram station which will take you to prague old town. clean place, close to lidl supermarket. Happy with our stay BUT they should not be repeating same breakfast every single day. Its no exciting if you stay there for 4 nights. Overall 8 out of 10. :)

This hotel is in Prague 3 which someone may feel it is a bit far from city centre, but thanks to its location; a tram stop is so close to the hotel. Additionally a convenient store (Albert) is not far from the hotel. These make living here is quite convenient and comfortable. Facilities in the room are good. Internet is fast enough. Breakfast is very nice (I really like it!). However, a poor side of this hotel is noise because it locates on the main street. Tram noise is usual if windows are open and they has to be open in Summer as there is no air condition here.

There were 4 of us travelling to Prague with big luggage. We got a room at the upper floor without elevator. Hence, we need to carry all the way to 3rd floor. The room is not clean. We could see dust on the bed. But most importantly, there are pubs on the same street and it is so happening even during midnight. We were unable to rest peacefully for our 2 nights stay. It is not suitable if you are travelling with elders.

We are satisfied. First we want to cancel it after read some bad reviews i.e. noisy, difficult to find. far. dirty room. but when we went into the hotel we started to refuse the bad thoughts because everything were looked nice (the building. friendly staffs) But we still keep the 50% bad reviews in mind since we will check into our room late in the afternoon. Its completely different when we went into our room... clean. comfortable. just like at home. Big one.. (as that was for 3 persons). The wall. furniture and bathroom's staffs are good indeed. The breakfast is very good. We are so wonder why the people said so meanwhile all the thing are looked quite well. For transportation is no doubt. we just need walk a few minutes, to central is only 3 stops.. to train station is just in front of eyes that is only one stop. Bus to the airport... Castle Prague are easy. You will receive a piece of paper from the front desk officer & all your need are there.

First, the good. Nice quiet semi-surban street, 15 minutes up hill to Metro which is only three stops from tourist centre. Metro is excellent and ~£4 for unlimited day's travel on bus, tram or metro. Room clean and tidy, very good bed and choice of pillow. Breakfast excellent for a continental style buffet with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Repeated requests for double espressos promptly fulfilled. WiFi very good, no problems here. Excellent welcome from knowledgeable staff. Now, the not so good. Nice size bath would have been welcome after five hours walking around beautiful Prague but .. no bath plug! Lighting in room not so great, difficult to read in bed on one side due to position immediately over bedside shelving blocking light. Only small shelf on which to balance laptop somewhat precariously. In bathroom no shelving under or around mirror with not great lighting. Would I stay there again? Probably.

Bily Lev hotel is a good choice for budget travellers not staying in Prague for a long time. There is no modern air conditioning, so you might want to open the window to the street noise. Ask for the room away from the street or choose this hotel if you're coming to Prague in winter months. Bily Lev doesn't seem renovated, but is clean and bathrooms are modern and spacious. The location is good and tourist attractions are within easy reach. The best thing about this hotel, however, is unbeatable value for money! Unbeatable!

Hotel Aron is located at a quiet, peaceful area but with a reasonable number of minimarts and food places nearby. The hotel itself is pretty vintage but cosy and has a really warm atmosphere. Rooms were kept really clean and tidy (cleaner is a really nice lady) and feels comfortable albeit it is an old hotel. The buffet breakfast is not of a great variety but is sufficient and serves bread and salami. This is a great hotel for budget travelers who still require hotel service - staff is really friendly and ready to answer all your enquiries. However, do note that most of the sights and landmarks are in Prague 1, and Hotel Aron is abit further away from that (being in Prague 3). But a couple of bus stops takes you to Palladium (biggest shopping mall) and old town square! And the biggest downside is probably just the weak wifi in rooms, but works fine at the reception.

The hotel is located in Prague 3 and it is easy to travel to city centre or tourist location in Prague as it is near the bus/tram station. However, due to there are many slopes (typical landscape in Prague and Czech Republic) that may cause difficulties when delivering luggages. The hotel and the room are very nice and so great (I booked a premium triple room and got a room in the rooftop). The staff is nice and the facilities are good except for no elevator at the hotel. You may feel tired if your room is at the highest level. They lock the room for luggage storage and the receptionist always keeps the key. Overall, it is good place to stay in Prague.

We booked this hotel is because of the location. It is one tram stop from Prague main station. our stay was ok. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. the only thing we didn't like was when we 1st check in, the room was not properly cleaned. There is 1 water bottle and an open cookie packet left on the shoe shelf. Another thing was, due to no air con, the room was stuffy thus they suggest us to open the window. it was fine. But when it reaches mid night, there's a lot of noises coming from people downstairs, some were drunk and started to scream and shout. This is out of the control of the hotel management but dont think is suitable for family with young children.

the staff are really kind to get us enough information for tourist. as my mom had really bad pain on her back, we asked to stay longer to check out, they allowed us to do it so kindly. the room was really clean, and I and my mon and two kids 5 months years old and 3 years old, stayed there, its enough space! big room! nice kitchen and welcome water and flower made us this trip more forgettable. I will stay if i go next time too!

Overall the hotel is okay.. I'm gonna start with the pro first.. The staffs are very nice and helpful, and we dont have any language barrier or communication problem as they can converse well in english. Next, the hotel room is very clean and the facilities are well maintained.. The hotel is situated near to the Florenc Bus Station (around 7 mins walk).. The cons are, firstly the hote is situated a lil bit far from the main tourist attractions, (around 10 to 15 mins walk), but there is a bus station just outside the hotel, you can always take a bus or a tram (need to walk a bit) to the attraction sites. Next is the hotel is noisy, especially at night. You can always hear the sounds of buses ir cars, and the most annoying one will be the ticking sound from the traffic light outside. However, this can all be avoided if you ask for a room which is not facing the main road, or just close the window up (makes its a bit hot even during winter time). Other than that, i gave 7/10 to this hotel, cz my main priority choosing hotel its the safety and cleanliness ;)

We booked the 2 bedroom (for 8 people) apartment. Apartment was big. 1 room good for 2 people, the other one for 6 people. Staff was very patient and kind as we ask questions on how to open the door (as they were using old keys) and how to use their stove. Separate toilet and bath, which was very good. There was washing machine and dryer as well. Kitchen amenities were complete, we were able to cook meals and dine. Free breakfast has little selection, but all very delicious. Location was 5 mins walk to the tram station.

i booked a triple room. it was very spacious. the hotel is clean and the staffs are friendly. we stayed for 3 days. the only complain that i have is that, during the first night, they give us a double room with 1 extra bed. but the other 2 nights, we could change our room and the new room was much more bigger and nicer. the breakfast was fantastic. the hotel is not at prague center, so we need to take bus and metro to reach the center. it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach central prague a decent hotel with reasonable price.

Hotel Carlton in Prague was an excellent choice for us. The city centre was 4 stops away by tram and the major attraction 'Prague Castle' was also accessible, Reasonable rent and a very cozy hotel.The staff are well mannered and speak good English. Particularly a staff named Michael was very helpful in giving us information on the tourist spots. The room is tastefully decorated. The breakfast was good but they should have sausages and meat loaves of beef and chicken as well other than only pork. Prague is a city for tourists and many people do not eat pork. Overall an excellent hotel indeed.

Very pleasant stay at the Courtyard by Marriott as its an international recognised hotel and hence similar international standards. Very close to the subway and tram. Easily accessible to Prague 1 and all famous touristy sites. Front dest staff were also very helpful and friendly. Hotel is also right next to the Flora shopping centre, very convenient. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a great little hotel. It’s not right in the old area but it’s near a metro line and a few tram lines which take you there in less than 10 minutes. It’s a great neighborhood- safe and fairly lively and mostly Czech (I didn’t see or hear many tourists around here)- which also means the food and drinks were much cheaper. The rooms were great- spacious and nice classic wood furniture. Bright. Great breeze with the windows open. Breakfast buffet every morning- hot and cold. With different fresh pastries each day. And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always a smile, from the reception, to the breakfast, to the cleaning staff. Gave me recommendations for dining out and they also sell transit passes/tickets here. Best of all was the price. Next time I return to Prague, it will definitely be my first choice.

Large room. Quiet area and surroundings (not much to see). Fast wired internet. Wi-fi was not so great in the room but fine in public areas. Negatives - house keeping replenished only enough products for one person and not two. We wanted a room with an air-con for the "heat wave" and the air-con worked fine - it just couldn't keep up. It was better than having no air-conditioner. I really don't like the term double room having two single beds pushed together. Oh, and there was no bible!

Spotless clean, Internet fast and TV with Netflix. We had a great time in Prague. Prague 3 the neighborhood is also a good place to go for a coffee or a beer there is restaurants and bars around in the area. The host were really friendly. They help us to find a nice Italian restaurant. The public transport is only few minutes walk from the apartment building and take us about 15 min to arrive into Town. Thank you very much we will love to come back soon!
