Prague 01 hotels & places to stay

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Not only does it cost less than a typical 3 star price, it's quality far exceeds a typical 4 star standard. The hot breakfast is included and tasty. The room is huge and clean. The coffee and juice are free all day. The staff is super helpful. On our check out date we had to leave very early, and they packed breakfast for us for the road. Amazing. I will for sure stay here again if I ever return to Prague.

Stayed in Prague for two nights first, then travelled to Cesky Krumlov for another two nights, then got back to Prague for one more night. Had such plan was due to the weather forecasted a sunny day then a snowing day in CK. It was great that two different sceneries I could experience in CK! And returned to Prague for one more night was to prepare the early morning flight next day. As I had arrived Prague at around 11:30, the hotel staff had let me check in. They were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast provided plenty of choices and it was great! The hotel is close to the Prague main train station, it saved my time and money to just walk there for catching a train or airport bus. I'll recommend this hotel to friends.

I used to live in Prague and have always wanted to stay on old town. Our hotel room was huge and gorgeous. The breakfast was amazing the next day looking out over the Christmas market. I only wish we had gotten a room that overlooked the square ours was a little further back with a view of the tower, but if you stick your head out you see the square. Overall a great stay, and from someone who used to live in Prague, you won't find a better place to stay during the Christmas markets.

the rooms are absolutle clean and so neat and the bathrooms are also extremely clean and filled with the nicest smelling product to use, everything is in the room and the overall experience is the best I have had in Prague, the breakfast is yummy and the quality is above what I expected, clean, food is fresh. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful - love this hotel will def use it again if travelling to Prague..... This hotel was beautiful, just what i was expecting of a typical czech hotel. we had a beautiful view out over the river. But and this is a big BUT, the hotel is situated on the busy main road, going through Prague, with trams trundeling along. Also its opposite the largest european disco ( so it said) so if your very sensitive to noise this is not the place for you. we heard no music only the people queuing to go into the disco and coming out again. It didnt bother us at all. But because of this i only gave 3 stars for the location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel for the money. Rooms were pleasant and very clean with decent size flat screen TV .The breakfast included full english with cereals toast etc. I really cannot fault this hotel and would definitely stay there again if I return to Prague. Prague is a beautiful city packed with historic and architectural features. The churches are stunning as is Prague Castle. The town is buzzing with life. If there is a down side it's the price of food & drinks in the tourist areas - among the most expensive I have found in Europe, however get out of the main squares and the prices are much more sensible. We were lucky enough to take in a concert in one of the many venues - a 'Romantic Classics' concert which was of a very high standard and a good selection of music.

My prefect journey at Prague was started when I arrived the St Nicholas Hotel where I met Nuno (the manager). He awared that we had taken a long flight from HOng Kong to Czech so we arranged my families to check in earlier at 1030 he’s and invited us to take the breakfast which would be finished at 1100. Nuno then introduced everything in his hotel to us and gave many travelling tips to facilitate our stay in Prague. The hotel itself is located centrally in the beautiful city., every scenic spots is within walking distance so we had visited the Charles Bridge, old town centre, the Lennon wall in different time in the morning, evening and dawn. We made Good use of this locational advantages to have a full dimension viewing of the best of Prague. Another staff I would like to appraise is Almad. He is a cheerful young guy who is actually very willing to help. He found out the best Czech restaurant for us and advised me the best time spot for visiting the mesuems. Come back soon

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. All staff staff speak good english which helped lots. On check in I was given a map and pointed in the right direction in where to go visit etc. The hotel is modern and the rooms are very well equipt. The Breakfast is very good with a large range of food on offer. Also the location is very good but quiet at night so you can get some sleep. I would definately stay here again on my next visit to Prague.

Could not have picked a better place to stay. Gentleman at reception was could not be more helpful or informative. We had a one bedroom apartment, it was extremely large with separate kitchen and bathroom and lounge room. Extremely clean and well maintained, with washing machine. Apartments were ideally located only a short stroll to shopping and short walk to tourist areas and Old Prague. Public transport out the front and a 24 hour basic supermarket. Trains were a short walk away, with plenty for the tourist to see and do in any direction. I have no hesitations in stating if I can ever get back to Prague I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was wonderfully situated a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Our "double " room was huge with a super king size bed and a king size. There was also a dining table with two chairs and sideboard. The armchairs were also comfortable. There is a fridge but couldn 't work out how to plug it in. The kettle was useful but bring your own coffee,tea and milk!! The bathroom was again huge but only shower gel and soap is provided. The only problem with our room was the view to other rooms across an open area or a view of a large pipe. Breakfast again was very good. Certainly very good value for money.

I reaLLy did Like the hoteL as I thought the Location is perfect. I waLked with my Luggage from the train station to the the hoteL in 10 minutes, so it was not so bad. The Location is great! Clarion HoteL has a great breakfast seLection. I was so impressed with the tea seLection and the coffee was incredibLe. I actuaLLy hate coffee, but when it is -1°C, I am going to drink !!! Anyway, it was better than McDonaLd's coffee. I put miLk and their pink tube of sugar in my coffee and it was tasty. The fruits and yogurt seLection was my favorite. This hoteL reaLLy gave me a good headstart in energy. Now the bad...their eLevators need to be changed. They are sLow, Loud, and sensitive. It seems it wiLL break soon and I know there are onLy six fLoors, but it shouLd not be so scary. I tried waLking up/down the stairs, but it was bLocked off due to renovation-Not safe at aLL. There was onLy one eLevator working and it was from 09:00-1(7)8:00 Mon-Fri. That is just wrong! Sat-Sun is safer for the guests and it is not so annoying. In reaLity, it is not right bLaming peopLe for renovation which means improvement. It is not fun compLaining and I am not trying to make this hoteL Look bad, but as a response, pLease change something about this situation. Now the room...I booked the biggest suite which was a suite, but I just got a different impression from the internet. It is nothing bad. ActuaLLy the design was cooL: The baLcony was huge Like a mini hoteL room, and the Living room was spacious. The bed was great, but weird as it was two twin beds put together. I do not know. The bathroom was the cooLest because of the standup shower and the deep, deep tub. This did impress me, but I feeL I wiLL not come back to this hoteL. I give this hoteL 4s n 5s, but I just feeL there are other hoteLs that need me, so I wiLL not come back here, but thank you for being so friendLy. In Prague, it is hard to find good customer service and this hoteL has genuine customer service.

I did a lot of research on Prague hotels b4 my trip as I knew I will have a long stay there, & I'm so thankful that I did the homework. I looked at other hotels while I was there but I truly believe that given the value for money factor, this is the perfect hotel to stay. The staff are super friendly & helpful, prompt reply to questions,great recommendation & arrangement on local tour. You couldn't get any better location! Clean & well furnished, although there is no lift, but as long as they carry the luggage, I don't see any problem to it. Breakfast was very tastly and cook to order. The only cons is my room did have a little noise problem in the morning due to the working room is just next to my room, but since other things are so perfect, dealing with some noise I was fine with it. They even give u a free ride to the airport if you had a long stay at their hotel, which is very considerate of them & the perfect touch to end the journey. Totally will stay again next time.

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The room is very big and nicely decorated and the price is very affordable. It is like a nobleman's room and esp because the hotel is close to the castle so it feels so in tune with the neighboorhood where we stayed. The lobby area is quite small, typical of a European hotel but we didn't mind because the room is what's important to us. We didn't get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant either so I can't say anything about it. Overall, it was a memorable stay and I would love to go back to this hotel if we get a chance to come back to Prague!

Great location in Prague within walking distance to many things. Rooms are huge with historic touches. Wish the beautiful crystal chandelier was clean. Rest of room was clean. Some night noise but with windows closed it was fine. Wish air conditioning would have been on but we were able to open windows. Staff helpful and friendly mostly. Breakfast good and in a really neat underground cave. Definitely stay here if you can.

Only 5 minutes walk from Wenceslas Sq, 10 minutes to the main rail station yet the hotel was nice and quiet. Check in was friendly and extremely efficient. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean with a well supplied bathroom, luxurious towels and bath-robe. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a very good breakfast with a wide selection of options and super service. When I went to get eggs and bacon, the bacon container had just been emptied by the previous person. A request to a waitress produced an instant response with her rapidly going to the kitchen and within 30 seconds her reappearance with a plate of rashers for me and a cook with a full container moments later. The hotel gives the impression of being extremely well managed with very well trained staff at all levels. Highly recommended and a hotel that I shall use again when I am in Prague
