Platinum Yucatan was great! The resort was a little small compared to other resorts, but you could also go next door to the sister resort, or next door resort, and they had things to do there as well. Very pretty and nice and clean.

A trip to remember”
Amazing food in every restaurant, the best burgers we had were served by the pool next door hotel, where you get all inclusive as well, sister hotel. Lobster nights were delicious too! amazing animation group and pool parties. Mimosa station at breakfast buffet! We will be back there in the very near future.

Very Relaxing”
I went here for a few day break after spending a week with friends at another all inclusive resort to just unwind. It was perfect for what I was looking for. It was very quiet, slow paced and relaxing. The other half (non adult) seemed to be very busy with a lot more action, but this side was very chill. The buffets were very good and the a la carte's were good (small portions, so order more food). Only reason the location got 3 stars is the beach is almost non existent, lot's of erosion. If you want to go to Playa it's only about a 5-10 minute cab ride Otherwise the resort is great.

Nice new hotel. Good food quantity for all inclusive hotel. All employees were nice and friendly from reception to restaurant. Good house keeping. Down side was beach was small and not suitable for swimming.

Overpriced for what you get”
i Found the pools to be limited. The beach non existent and the stink of the dead algae overbearring so much that I did not want to go there. The overbuilding of properties caused damage to sealife resulting of tons of dead rotting algae floating every day.The food definitely unappealing and tasteless and came back with food poisoning. One of the main waitress in the main buffer is almost rude. Other wise all staff, bell boys are very helpful. My bedroom had blood marks and bed pug poop on the bed sheet. The hotel has bed bugs and took photos. Overall I would say, it is a great location but over priced for what you get. I prefer less and have quality.

Not what it used to be. ”
Definitely won’t be back! Front desk terrible customer service. Room service service terrible, either the order was wrong or didn’t show at all. Room temp only would go down to 74. Refreshing the mini fridge only gets done if you call and then you may have to call more than once to get it refilled. The bar and restaurant staff were great. Enjoyed the entertainment. There’s only one pool and they played loud music constantly so if you wanted to relax then you have to go to the beach. If you do go to the beach you can’t really go in the water due to all the sharp rocks. And then only if you get by all the seaweed that’s washed on to the beach that never gets groomed or maintained. No wait staff at the beach or by the pool. Definitely look around before deciding on this place.

We stayed here 2 years ago and it was amazing. This trip, not as much. The front desk staff was great. The facilities need some repair. Several things were "minimal" because I assume, low season. Thenahowa were mediocre. More like a high school talent show. We had reservations for the last part of our trip at an different resort. Very glad we did.

This place is paradise”
I can not even describe how amazing our stay at this resort was. We got such an amazing deal through Agoda, and everything went so smoothly. The staff at this resort-they are AMAZING!!! The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous-just like the images. We had the walk out suite directly to the pool and we are so happy we choose that room. The buffet and restaurants were both delicious at every meal (especially the hibachi style place!). Sure the beach had a little seaweed on the sand in the mornings-but it is the OCEAN people! Lol this will happen! The resort staff cleans it right away (we like to wake up early to watch the sunrise; they clean it shortly after). We arrived 3 hours early before our check in and the staff still gave us wristbands so that we may drink and eat as we pleased. Wonderful experience and we hope to come back soon.

Odeur persistante dans les chambres, restaurant difficile voir impossible à réserver pour des groupes, draps sales, évier bouché, douche mal entretenue, quasi aucune activité nocturne. Plage remplie d'algues, l'hôtel ne prend pas la peine de le retirer (d'autres plages le font) L'hôtel est beaucoup trop loin de toute activité et du centre de Playa.
