Where to stay in Oslo City Center
Oslo City Center hotels & accommodations

The best thing about Park Inn by Radisson Oslo was its location which was right in the heart of Oslo where everything was walking distance. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering a variety of hot and cold food. The staff were warm, helpful and welcoming. Wi-fi was excellent! The hotel bar opens until 2 a.m.! The rooms were well appointed and contemporary. Well, a...

we were in oslo in the days following the bombing. we contacted the hotel direct to ensure it was ok and undamaged. the staff were reassuring not just about the hotel, but also about the safety of oslo in general. the room was large, clean with comfortable beds. the hotel is very central and the windows keep out any street noise. the staff were able to provide excellen...

We stayed in 3 different hotels in Oslo: this, the Grand Hotel, and Radisson Blu Plaza. While Thon Hotel Opera is not the cheapest (Radisson Blu Plaza is 50 US dollars cheaper), but it's clearly the best. The Grand Hotel is way overrated; beaten by the other two not only in price (by a lot), but also in service. Thon Hotel Opera is truly right outside the airport expr...

The location is central for traveling by public transport or walking to shopping centres and museums. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although the room is compact the layout is pleasant and comfortable for a single person. My brief stay was during early autumn and the room was warm and comfortable. I will stay at this hotel again for my next visit to Oslo.

Stay was made pleasent by friendly staff and I presume the value for money was good because of the free upgrade (from single room to double). Otherwise, the rooms need refurbishing and the bed comfort is far below the standard I'm used to when travelling to the US (Marriott for instance). But having tried a few different hotels in Oslo it's not bad compared to other ce...

One of the best hotel I have stayed in so far in Oslo. The rooms have been renovated recently with modern touch. Room is also quite spacious comparing with other Scandinavian hotel. Comparable to the radisson blu the plaza. Staffs were full of smiles always. Mins walk to the city hall, national theatre and airport express train. Highly recommended.

Honestly, travelling as a single footer, it's always a big tackle in terms of reasonable room to find. Thon is a hotel chain company and here is one of them. That means they can put as many choices as customers want per hotel. This led me spend my last day in Oslo, and that didn't betray me. Nicely designed shower booth and all of room facilities were over my expectat...

Compared to other hotels in Oslo, the price for Thon Hotel Astoria was more affordable. We arrived at the main railway station and this hotel was just a short walk away. From this hotel, it is very easy to walk or take public transport to all the places of interest. The breakfast was also good probably because it is the first time I'm getting a taste of Norwegian salmo...

OK, I must get the bad point out the way, and it isn't even the hotel's fault. The local area is FULL of alcoholics and druggies. Although we never felt threatened, some people might, and it is such a shame because this hotel was great. The Oslo police should be ashamed and sort themselves out and clean the place up!! Anyway, we were checked in quickly and headed to o...

I stayed one night in a superior room on 12th floor. Good well furnished room, which could even allow self-catering. A bit too in the grey colours on the deco for me but hey this is fashion! Excellent view also. Very good bedding! And the crew is nice. Anything more to ask for? Situation is adequate, the center of oslo is small anyway, even for nightlife. TV is ...

Kudos...the staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee bar at the reception makes guest very welcomed, never seen it in any hotels we stayed in so far in many countries. The tea and light evening meal offering are also very good especially in such an expensive city like Oslo.

It was a nice surprise to stay at the Comfort Hotel in Oslo. The Hotel is bright new and very easy to reach. it's located just inside the Central Train Station in Oslo. In other words you new only to take the express train from the airport and you will never need to go outside the train station at you arrival. The rooms are smalls but very nice, clean and Modern scand...

I am very happy to stay at Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station, It is my first time in Oslo and you are one of my happy moment. It is opposite of the train Central Station and just about 20++ minutes from the airport. So it is very easy to explore Oslo or connect with other amazing destination in Norway. The Room is very clean and Nice. The Staff can communicate in E...
