Where to stay in Oslo City Center
Oslo City Center hotels & accommodations

The best thing about Park Inn by Radisson Oslo was its location which was right in the heart of Oslo where everything was walking distance. The buffet breakfast was excellent offering a variety of hot and cold food. The staff were warm, helpful and welcoming. Wi-fi was excellent! The hotel bar opens until 2 a.m.! The rooms were well appointed and contemporary. Well, a...

Although we have booked the room with requested Twin Bed by Agoda, the hotel has not arranged as per requested. We have got the room with double bed when we arrived in early morning. At that time, we have been requested again with the twin bed. However, when we returned to hotel at night, the staff told us that there is never has such request in the morning. After almo...

We stayed in 3 different hotels in Oslo: this, the Grand Hotel, and Radisson Blu Plaza. While Thon Hotel Opera is not the cheapest (Radisson Blu Plaza is 50 US dollars cheaper), but it's clearly the best. The Grand Hotel is way overrated; beaten by the other two not only in price (by a lot), but also in service. Thon Hotel Opera is truly right outside the airport expr...

The location is central for traveling by public transport or walking to shopping centres and museums. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although the room is compact the layout is pleasant and comfortable for a single person. My brief stay was during early autumn and the room was warm and comfortable. I will stay at this hotel again for my next visit to Oslo.

Bristol hotel is an almost historical hotel in Oslo. Its charm remains though we stayed in a later added part. Breakfast included in the room rate was very varied and good apart from the coffee. The lounge is beautiful. Staff was friendly, Bristol hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Oslo. The price we payed was very moderate considering the general price level in...

One of the best hotel I have stayed in so far in Oslo. The rooms have been renovated recently with modern touch. Room is also quite spacious comparing with other Scandinavian hotel. Comparable to the radisson blu the plaza. Staffs were full of smiles always. Mins walk to the city hall, national theatre and airport express train. Highly recommended.

Honestly, travelling as a single footer, it's always a big tackle in terms of reasonable room to find. Thon is a hotel chain company and here is one of them. That means they can put as many choices as customers want per hotel. This led me spend my last day in Oslo, and that didn't betray me. Nicely designed shower booth and all of room facilities were over my expectat...

Compared to other hotels in Oslo, the price for Thon Hotel Astoria was more affordable. We arrived at the main railway station and this hotel was just a short walk away. I stayed one night in a superior room on 12th floor. Good well furnished room, which could even allow self-catering. A bit too in the grey colours on the deco for me but hey this is fashion! Kudos...the staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee bar at the reception makes guest very welcomed, never seen it in any hotels we stayed in so far in many countries. The tea and light evening meal offering are also very good especially in such an expensive city like Oslo.

It was a nice surprise to stay at the Comfort Hotel in Oslo. The Hotel is bright new and very easy to reach. it's located just inside the Central Train Station in Oslo.
