"Orc Hotel Edo"”
For a long period of 14 nights and 15 days, three people stayed in a place called Standard Triple Room. First, let's talk about the infrastructure. There are a whopping six bus stops in Morishita. If you come out of Morishita Station A6, where the Oedo Line and Shinjuku Line intersect, and walk for about a minute, you will be there. And if you want to use the Hanzomon Line, you have to go to the next station, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, but since the subway companies are different when transferring from the Oedo Line or Shinjuku Line, you have to pay an additional fare if you use a Suica card. If you want to buy a subway pass on-site, you must buy it at the airport. Also, for those who use travel blogs or withdraw money from cards, there are Seven ATMs near the station, so don't worry. Anyway, the transportation infrastructure is very, very, very, very accessible. And there are more places to eat than you might think nearby. First of all, Matsuya Gyudon restaurant next to the A6 gate of the subway is cheap and frequently used. And Kitchen Origin, located on the corner, is also cheap and delicious. Especially when buying water, it costs only 55 yen, so buy it there instead of at a convenience store. And there are many places to eat near the taco-yaki restaurant and ski-ya across the street from the accommodation. And there is a public bathhouse called Tokiwa Yura nearby, which is highly recommended. You can enjoy a great bath for only 520 yen by bringing a large towel provided by the accommodation to the bathhouse. All Japanese bathhouses are well-maintained, so the water is always clear. I highly recommend it, but if you don't bring a towel, you have to buy one separately there, so be sure to bring a towel if you're going to the bathhouse. Next is the accommodation. The bathroom itself is narrow, which is unavoidable due to the characteristics of Japanese buildings, but other than that, everything was satisfactory. Air conditioning is provided, and there is a small monitor TV with various channels, so I was satisfied. However, since there is one double bed and one single bed, if you need a private space in bed, check separately for three single beds. And it was on the 7th floor, and the view from the veranda was very good, so I was satisfied. There is a shared space on the 3rd floor, which is surprisingly pleasant and satisfying. In conclusion, infrastructure 5/5, restaurants 4.5/5, accommodation 4/5. Anyway, it is the best accommodation in terms of cost-effectiveness, so I recommend it.
Two adults.”
The location was convenient for transportation and meals, and it was in a safe and secure area. The distance between the staff and the guests was just right and very comfortable. They provided information quickly and appropriately, which was helpful. The staff were polite and kind in their responses. The facilities were clean and had everything necessary. There were no excessive services that were not needed, but at the same time, it was not just the bare minimum. It was a perfect balance, which made the stay comfortable. Overall, I am satisfied that all of these things were provided at this price.
Good Choice for Hotel in Tokyo”
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient, just a short distance from the station, making it easily accessible. It is also close to a 24-hour convenience store and a laundry facility. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially during the process of receiving my luggage delivery from Kyoto. They were able to communicate effectively in English, which made everything much easier. Near the elevator, there’s an information board that provides useful guidance on nearby tourist destinations in Tokyo, which we found very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us, and the housekeeping service was thorough and meticulous. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay near the station and enjoy a comfortable, well-serviced experience.
We picked right”
Basics are all good. Clean and very good location nearby the station. Some food places right outside. Love sukiya was opposite. My fav. So hearty and comfort food. There is a yakiniku place outside and seems popular with locals but I didn’t fancy all the Inards. Oh highlight is family mart is right beside. Our stop every day. Rooms wise it’s a bit small. We took the family room with 3 beds and could only open 1 suitcase xl. But that’s fair for the price and size we paid for. Very convenient to get around. Without having to pay top dollar to be main areas. The laundry place right downstairs is perfect. We had fresh clean clothing to bring to our next destination. If you want to book the bike do plan ahead. It’s limited.
Recommended 👍✨️”
I recommend this hotel for those looking for a budget-friendly option. The hotel is very clean and close to the subway (1-2 mins walk to subway elevator) and bus stop. The convenience store is right next door and there are a number of restaurants around the area. Although the front desk is not open 24/7 but they will give you instructions in case you need to check in / out outside of their office hours. Again, I highly recommend this hotel 😁
