This was my first experience in a Dorm. I'm 194cm tall and I just barely fit inside bunk I was given. With earplugs I was able to sleep without much issue. The facilities and room are cleaned daily and I was very impressed with how clean everything was in general. For what you pay, this is an excellent value compared to a normal hotel room. Staff is very professional and helpful. They will answer any questions you have and explain how things work very clearly. You are right next to the subway station which gives you access to pretty much everything in Tokyo and even beyond. Family mart is close by and plenty of restaurants as well.

Amazing hotel close to Morisitha station ”

Hotel was surprisingly clean, receptionists very helpful all the time. Comfortable beds, kitchen with microwave, hob, utensils for cooking, fridge in the room, complementary coffee and tea offered, rent (for free) of iron, hair Iron, etc,,,. 1 minute walking to metro, very very convenient for family as well because of nearby groceries 24/7. If you travel with family I would recommend to book triple room as double beds are smaller than in Europe. All in all perfect hotel to stay in!

Solid location, facilities, staff and price”

- Morishita Station is just beside the hotel and has access to both the Oedo and Shinjuku lines. So you can easily get to places like Ueno, Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. easily. Can also easily get to the Tozai line at Monzennakacho Station (2 stations away) to easily get to the Nakano or Kasai areas which are also attractive. - Facilities themselves are new. Probably the newest hostel/capsule-style place I've stayed at in Tokyo. There are bidets at every bathrooms and showers are stocked with both conditioner, shampoo and body wash. Stuff like towels can be rented at the reception. - There is a small lounge/shokudou in the 3rd floor. There you can microwave stuff, watch TV, eat on the terrace balcony which has tables and chairs, or even cook. They have an induction stove and cookware. Lounge is open from 6 am to 10 pm only though. - Unlike many hostels/capsule-style places, they don't care if you wake up late. Most capsule hotels make you leave by 10 am. Due to jet lag, I kept waking up almost 12 nn due for the first few nights. They didn't bother me and beauty sleep. - The bunk beds are also fairly spacious and the provide keyed lockers for small to medium sized bags. Large bags won't fit. But you can either keep your luggage at the reception or beside your bed in your room. I kept mine beside my bed. They've got CCTVs manning the doors exiting the rooms anyway. - As for the bathroom situation, both showers and toilets are located outside the rooms. So when you sleep at night, you'll have to keep your RFID card on your person at all times just in case you need to use the loo. I look forward to staying here again for my next solo trip.

"Orc Hotel Edo"”

For a long period of 14 nights and 15 days, three people stayed in a place called Standard Triple Room. First, let's talk about the infrastructure. There are a whopping six bus stops in Morishita. If you come out of Morishita Station A6, where the Oedo Line and Shinjuku Line intersect, and walk for about a minute, you will be there. And if you want to use the Hanzomon Line, you have to go to the next station, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, but since the subway companies are different when transferring from the Oedo Line or Shinjuku Line, you have to pay an additional fare if you use a Suica card. If you want to buy a subway pass on-site, you must buy it at the airport. Also, for those who use travel blogs or withdraw money from cards, there are Seven ATMs near the station, so don't worry. Anyway, the transportation infrastructure is very, very, very, very accessible. And there are more places to eat than you might think nearby. First of all, Matsuya Gyudon restaurant next to the A6 gate of the subway is cheap and frequently used. And Kitchen Origin, located on the corner, is also cheap and delicious. Especially when buying water, it costs only 55 yen, so buy it there instead of at a convenience store. And there are many places to eat near the taco-yaki restaurant and ski-ya across the street from the accommodation. And there is a public bathhouse called Tokiwa Yura nearby, which is highly recommended. You can enjoy a great bath for only 520 yen by bringing a large towel provided by the accommodation to the bathhouse. All Japanese bathhouses are well-maintained, so the water is always clear. I highly recommend it, but if you don't bring a towel, you have to buy one separately there, so be sure to bring a towel if you're going to the bathhouse. Next is the accommodation. The bathroom itself is narrow, which is unavoidable due to the characteristics of Japanese buildings, but other than that, everything was satisfactory. Air conditioning is provided, and there is a small monitor TV with various channels, so I was satisfied. However, since there is one double bed and one single bed, if you need a private space in bed, check separately for three single beds. And it was on the 7th floor, and the view from the veranda was very good, so I was satisfied. There is a shared space on the 3rd floor, which is surprisingly pleasant and satisfying. In conclusion, infrastructure 5/5, restaurants 4.5/5, accommodation 4/5. Anyway, it is the best accommodation in terms of cost-effectiveness, so I recommend it.

Two adults.”

The location was convenient for transportation and meals, and it was in a safe and secure area. The distance between the staff and the guests was just right and very comfortable. They provided information quickly and appropriately, which was helpful. The staff were polite and kind in their responses. The facilities were clean and had everything necessary. There were no excessive services that were not needed, but at the same time, it was not just the bare minimum. It was a perfect balance, which made the stay comfortable. Overall, I am satisfied that all of these things were provided at this price.
