Novotel Palembang memang favorit saya dan keluarga selama beberapa tahun kemarin. Baik saat kunjungan bisnis maupun relax bersama keluarga, lokasi sangat keren, suasana dekoratif dan layout hotel excellent. Hanya kamar mandi sudah perlu upgrade krn tekanan shower kecil dan dindingnya sudah kusam. Staff hotel harus menjadikan senyum tulus kepada siapa saja yang masuk ke hotel (krn terlihat masih pilih2 orang). Tp yg sedihnya point saya selama 2 kali kunjungan hangus krn alasan nya Agoda dan Novotel enggak link?, that is not fair! 😭, that is your problem to fix it for the customer. The security guard just stood there next to me, while I was unloading the bags from the car. He just stood still watching me without helping at all. No cameras are allowed at the swimming pool area, while smartphones are allowed. What a dumb policy

One of the best hotels in Palembang”
The location is actually quite good: not in the center of the city but on the main road, and close to the airport. Traffic in Palembang can be pretty bad (It is one of the fastest growing cities in Indonesia). There is a decent shopping mall (Palembang Town Square) next to it. One of the best features of the hotel is its design. The rooms are arranged in a circle with a beautiful swimming pool in the center. The hotel has a feel of a village but a very modern one. The rooms are very spacious, each with a big bathroom, a sofa and a view to either a very well maintained garden to the pool. The lobby has a high ceiling and open design concept. The restaurant on the ground level has also very open and light design. This is certainly a hotel for those who love big, airy, sunlight-filled open space. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast menu is great!!! Plenty of selection and they taste really nice. The traditional "bubur ayam" (chicken porridge) is delicious. The staff are all very courteous, friendly and helpful. I have stayed here every time I went to Palembang, and will stay here again.

overall novotel palembang is a good hotel, from the services, facilities ..they are good, the only things that makes me wonder is the room key. like other hotels they are suing magnetic card as a key, unfortunately that card is very low quality, it took me several times (more than three time) until to get green light for opening my door. if they can fix this then novotel palembang is the good option to stay.
