Nongsa hotels & places to stay

A great place to spend a relaxing stay, really are a captive audience, the Resort has everything that you need in house. Free shuttle service to & fro the Nongsa Ferry Terminal. This my second stay (my first stay was in Tirta Wing) but my second stay room is Rianie Deluxe with beach view The room was very comfortable and clean, entranceways/balconies were situated facing sea and windy. A lot of privacy even though it was crowed by weekend tourists.Quite pleasant and relax. Every service staffs smiles and greet on seeing you. I had connecting room with my children. My children enjoyed their fun in sea sports activities. On my request, the resort book transport service to Mega Mall and Nogoya Mall at a reasonable price for half a day tour. We did enjoyed the family massage recommended the driver. The driver speaks English and was so accommodating who was so kind to give us the best that we need to have. We sure to return again and do recommend to others who wants peace and quiet stay at Turi Beach Resorts.

On arrival at Nongsa, look out for the Batam View personnel who will hand you an 'express card' that will allow you to skip the immigration queue. We were upgraded to a room with a lovely sea view and that does lift the holiday mood up a notch or two. Dinner has to be either at the poolside (I think only on holiday eves) or buffet at Wangi Melati Coffee House, or at the Kelong which is a short walk down the slope near the front of the hotel. At 830pm, the live band entertains at the Islander Lounge. I am no music talent scout but I think all the instrumentalists were really quite good. Vocals was also fine except for the more challenging songs. But the IDR50K beer more than adequately made up for this. For guests who wish to visit the malls in the city, the one way fare for a 4-seater car is IDR200K for the 40 mins ride. I think it would be good for the hotel to consider a cab pooling arrangement or some sort of cheaper transport arrangement to the city.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days, from 28.12.14 to 30.12.14 to celebrate an anniversary. We booked the sea view room. We have been to the sister resort, Turi Beach, in 2012 and knew about Nongsa Point Marina when we explored the paths along the beach. Compared to Turi, NPM is way more relaxed and quiet. Turi seems too 'busy' at times and there's constantly a lot of people which is why we prefer NPM. It felt peaceful and the clear waters at the yacht berthing area was a surprisingly good spot for fishing. You cannot fish at the yacht area of course and we fished more to the right which was very convenient as we were given a sea view room on the ground floor - easy access with a great view ;) The room, toilet were clean and the bed was super comfy. No issues with the room except a busted light at the balcony. Informed the counter and in less than 5-10mins, their technician came over to replace the light bulb. Food wise - it was good but pricey which is expected at Nongsa area. On the saturday night, they had a bbq steamboat buffet but there weren't a lot of people. We may have arrived late for the buffet, at about 8pm, as there were only 3 tables occupied including ours. The other tables soon cleared and we had a 'private dining' in the open space with a sea view under the stars with a live band. Food was good but we weren't big eaters. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. They even gave us a call when we did not turn up for breakfast on day 1 but we were still way too late and did not get breakfast. One of the female staff did offer to give us some bread which was a thoughtful gesture. Felt embarrassed though as we were 30mins late so we politely declined. For us who prefer lesser human traffic, NPM suited us more than Turi. We are already planning our next trip to NPM ;)

I just wanted to drop a review to inform everyone that my stay in Montigo Resort is one of the best birthday staycation ever. I wasn't expecting to be treated like a real boss HAHA! First of all, I would like to thank all the staffs who dropped by at our villa just to sing me a happy birthday song. T'was very flattering. Thank you so much also for the complimentary birthday chocolate cake (it was my FAVORITE!). I was amazed how all the staffs treat every guests very special. Upon arrival from the ferry terminal till reception area and sending to our villa, every single thing is awesome. I travelled a lot and this Batam, Montigo Resort experience is one of the best. I definitely rate the villa with 5 awesome stars. The private pool is perfect. The breakfast buffet spread is fantastic. The view is astonishing and the whole experience is breath-taking. I would like to especially give thanks to Ms. Windi, she assisted us from the very beginning of our stay. She's definitely one of the best asset of the Montigo Resort. I totally salute her. Aside to that, the rest of the staffs always serve every guests with a huge smile. They're all very friendly and polite. Very attentive in all our requests. There's nothing I can ask for more. My whole stay in Montigo Resort, Nongsa is PERFECTION. I would definitely recommend the resort to all of my family, relatives and friends who's going to visit Batam in the near future. We were a group of 12 friends looking to go someplace not too far from Singapore for a quick weekend getaway. We found Nongsa! Its only about 40 min from Tanah Merah, and then 5 min to this villa. Somehow, it's situated in a very obscure place. There are no eateries around, and not close to towns (unlike Batam View Hotel). That said, it was the ideal place for us. We had planned a full menu and brought in things to do and ingredients to cook with that would be our meals for the next 3 days. There is no restaurant within the compounds of Nongsa Village. The nearest one is Nongsa Marina Point. To get there, you need to ask the office for transport in advance. They charge per person to go there, which is accumulated and you pay at the end when you check-out. Ferry transfers costs $1. The amazing thing is that when you reach your hotel upon check-in, you just need to let them know you need to catch a ferry back to Singapore. They will plan EVERYTHING for you! Leave the open ticket with them, and they will get the seats for you according to the time you want, pick you up from your villa doorstep, send you to the office to check out and then send you straight to the ferry terminal. There, the driver will even get out and help all of you check in. Perfectly worth the $1 we pay per person! The villas are very clean. Upon check-in, we noticed they had taken the effort to clean the house and de-bug it. Because the villas were made of wood, they were squirted with liquid insecticides to prevent the bugs from coming. They even fumigated the whole compound really thoroughly on Friday afternoon. That said, mosquitos there are crazy, so come prepared. We brought mosquito coils. If you are planning to hang outdoors often or leave your veranda entrance open, then this is a good thing to bring. Overall, love this location. The price is totally reasonably, and the villas look much better than they do in the photos on their website! We will definitely go back aga
