"It was a beautiful holiday, much more than imagined, without the noise of a lot of tourists, the quiet and beautiful fishing village was next to it. I was worried that the nearby mosque would wake me up very early, but not, the bed was very Comfortable, clean and space very comfortable too, the furniture is super good, it is a best value of accommodation. The staff loves to clean and clean at any time. It is really comfortable and relaxing. The fishing village is not far from the front, and can directly buy the freshest and cheapest seafood for the best dinner. The staff directly helped the barbecue.. It’s super good~~ The nearby seaside is quiet and can run for kids... I’ve already started planning the next relaxation trip to stay longer with it~~"

"a hotel with a good villa concept, beach front location, next to it there are still lots of beautiful green rice fields, friendly staff, good good food, delicious banana pancakes, good lobster, delicious spaghetti. Even though the beach has black sand and rocky, the view is good, it happens to have a good sunset."

"Puri Dajuma sits on an unspoilt western coast of Bali - facing a pristine beach. This is not a touristy area - so come here if you want to get away from the tourist trail. The hotel is beautifully designed - winding paths surrounded by flowering plants and trees create an atmosphere of a secret garden. There are hanging swing chairs and hammocks to sit/lie in facing the sea, two pools - one very long with jacuzzi & water slide down to a plunge pool. The Indonesian food created by the hotel chef is fantastic - try the vegetarian ristaffel. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Five of us stayed here in August 2017 - 2 teenagers, 3 adults - and regard this hotel as one of the best we've been to. One reason why is the owners' (Swiss and Balinese) approach to their staff, of which I need to say only that, of the 52 who work here, just 3 have left since it opened about 15 years ago. They all know each other very well and their smiling countenances make their guests feel very welcome."

"It was very nice to be there for three days, that were the most wonderful days during my visit to Bali with friends. The room was much greater than expected. You will be hearing all the time the sounds of big waves. Easy to access. Welcoming fruits and drinks are very nice. A day trip to western Bali is also recommendable. Breakfast was great. The best part of this accommodation is the staff. I got hives on my legs but thanks to the staff I was able to get medicine for it. The waves are good for surfers with intermediate level or above as my friend, a beginner, wasn't really able to enjoy surfing as the waves are very strong and big for her level. If you don't like hearing all the time sounds of waves, then I think this accommodation might not be for. you. I am very sorry that I have forgotten the female staff in the reception but she was really nice and friendly. Also, the manager was the best. I will for sure like to visit again in the future. "I recommend this hotel for those who need to find low cost hotel in Negara. Hotel room does not equipped with hand wash basin but surely better than the $6 home stay in this west part of Bali. Negara itself a small town that nothing special to be seen. "

"We went for lunch at Umadewi and were so impressed by the staff and the location that we decided to check in for the following night. Our bungalow was in great condition and overlooked the main surf spot (you could literally see people surfing from the bed). The pool was quiet and well maintained. The restaurant is fine (perhaps a little overpriced) and the manager went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Big thumbs up!"

"Kelapa Retreat & Spa Review Pekutatan, Jembrana. Bali, Indonesia. Overview Remote, sublime location. Nine, 5 star, architecturally designed luxurious villas. Owner operated, with enthusiastic warm Balinese staff. Great beach - For walking, swimming, learning to boogie board or surf. Very quiet THE DETAIL Not having stayed at Kelapa Retreat previously, I initially booked four nights. By the end of day two, I had booked an additional seven nights! I had found what I was looking for. Having first visited Bali in the mid 1970's, and then again on average once every ten years, it had been twelve years since I my last trip to the island. Unsure if it still existed, I was after a genuine Balinese experience, combined with solitude in comfort (perhaps even luxury) to provide myself the opportunity for personal rejuvenation. The Kelapa Retreat experience provided this and then some. The Kelapa Retreat is located in Jembrana district, Bali's least populated region, adjacent to the village of Pekutatan. It is approximately 2 hours driving time west from Kuta/Legian, with this distance being precisely the reason the region remains remote, and yet to be touched by Bali's mainstream tourism. Kelapa means coconut in Indonesian, with the nine stunning villas (designed by the owner & architect in residence -Gordon) being set in a beautiful coconut grove, right on a thirteen kilometer isolated beach. During my stay (July/August, 2011) the beach (with black, graphite fine sand so highly revered by the Balinese) had excellent waves for bodysurfing or learning to boogie board/surf : sandy bottom, relatively slow wave compared to popular Bali surf spots, and gentle currents, combined with complete solitude! A keen bodysurfer, most days I was literally the only one in the water! (Note: If the salt water and waves are not to your liking, the 15 meter pool within the grounds is sure to please.) The nearest tourism development of any form is a 3-4 star small resort approx 3"
