check-in was a little slow as the guest before me had some issues with his booking. but it was worth the wait as the room was beyond my expectation. it was very spacious (of course at 46sqm, it should be), clean and pleasant smelling. the hotel staff were friendly and always ready to render assistance. the hotel lobby and corridors always smelt good from a well chosen air freshener. the hotel is just next door to bcs mall. 24 hours minang eating house is just a 5mins walk away, about less than a 100m distance. behind the hotel there's a seafood place,probably like newton in singapore, offering affordable prices. 3 dishes for 2 pax. although it is located slightly off nagoya hill, it is about 10mins drive to nagoya shopping mall. it is also about 10mins drive from harbour bay terminal to hotel & vice versa. in room dining is also available at somewhat affordable & reasonable price with a decent quality kind of food. in house spa is expensive. you can get way cheaper deals outside. near the hotel area.

I have lost count of my stay at this hotel. It has become my natural choice of Hotel stay. Value for money, location is good, breakfast is awesome as guests are spoilt for choice. Front desk staff remember you once you are the firequent guest. They give personal touch and you feel that you are VIP with the treatment they make every hotel as a experience you will bring home with it. So much so that from now on every review for this hotel will be standard format. So if you see the repeated review of this hotel, I have confidence in this hotel that it delivers.

Definitely recommend Grand I Hotel to others despite it being slightly pricier than the other hotels within the vicinity. Hotel is very clean in general, staffs are very friendly and helpful. No issues with noise or anything, really quiet room and was very happy with it. Also has some free snacks and drinks in the fridge for your consumption, good if you are hungry in the middle of the night. Has a bathtub and a smart TV with some cable channels. Rmb to bring your HDMI cable if you would like to connect your laptop to the TV as the hotel currently does not provide it. Internet/Wifi access is good too. Breakfast is normal in general, cant complain much, except certain foods like the chicken porridge which is surprisingly good. Would be a better option not to eat too much and save your stomach capacity for food inside Nagoya Mall. Hotel is near Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall, with just a 2 to 3 mins walk. Unlike Nagoya Hill Hotel, the walkway from Grand I Hotel to Nagoya Mall is not fully sheltered but both hotels are really close to Nagoya Hill anyway. In all, definitely worth our stay!

Was very impressed with the hospitality and cleanliness of this hotel. If you are in Batam, this an excellent hotel to stay in and feel safe. Though a little bit off from Batam Centre and Nagoya, it is easily accessible and the best part is there is no forceful taxi drivers that dictate your mode of transportation. You can easily book grab with out any fear or reprisal. For the price we paid, the facilities were great - swimming pool, 3 stories of fitness room (with modern equipment), sauna and whirlpool and observation deck and lounge at the 9th floor for a great panoramic view. Breakfast selection could be improved. What I really like about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff and the safe feeling we experience throughout our stay (something we have yet to experience in Batam so far). There are also good eateries within walking distance, minimart to replenish on your essentials and a massage parlour (no hanky panky) just opposite the hotel.Overall, best experience ever!!!!

i believe it was the best hotel in nagoya so far..i stay almost all of them...this hotel is value for its charges ...i love the poolside with many locals crowd around for activities therefore making batam itself more lively otherwise coldly........the room is clean n newer than the others...the food stalls behind the hotel manage by the hotel give us a room of their own without going far...most disco in batam is sleazy except one,,in panaroma hotel....a dance pub...but pacific hotel staff are just great when recently i met an accident in the hotel itself..even to the hospital n after i was well taken care by the staff especially the management sine..namely one p r manager name ryan..i was offered the service even first world hotel might not being obligated to do so...even without this special treatments..overall the hotel beats other 4 star hotels in term of rates cleanliness service n layout....i vote for this hotel in batam.....

Allium is a generally a 3-star hotel in Nagoya which had been consistently 4-star to me. Its service is simple and understated. The staff dont disturb you but are always there to try to make your stay a pleasant and friendly one. Its my go-to hotel to stay for almost 6 years now. I have tried other hotels such as Harmoni, Novotel and a few others but I always return to this little hotel with a heart. Do be careful when getting there as there are some roadworks in front of the hotel due to the construction of a bridge towards the market area. The two-way road in front of the hotel has become a two-way onto a one-way road.

Once again a pleasant stay at Harmony Suites. Pros: 1) Fast check-in & check-out. 2) Sincere friendly staff with smiles. Swift email replies prior to my arrival. 3) Strategically located 15 mins drive from Harbourbay ferry terminal. Situated right opposite Nagoya area, 5-10 minutes walking distance. 4) Complimentary working wifi. 5) Fast room housekeeping. Room was in order when we came back from breakfast in the hotel. 6) Big comfortable room includes king size bed, bathtub, stove with utensils, microwave oven, and over 30 channels on TV. Cons: 1) Doesn't provide complimentary land transfers. 2) Breakfast wasn't exceptional. All in all, certainly more than value for money. Arguably the best hotel in Nagoya. My choice for every Batam trip.

The best hotel in Nagoya because the most liveliest shopping mall is just behind it. You save money on taxis unless you have private transport. Breakfast is good. Variety of food and fruits. Swimming pool is small but okay for kids to enjoy. Do note that transport like grab/Uber not allowed near shopping malls in Batam and even hotels so if you wanna use them, you will have to walk further down n inform them where to pick you up from. We didn't find the things interesting there so hardly shopped for anything but tried out alot of food and stuff. Nagoya hill mall is a food Haven. You can also get massages around that area. Just compare prices. There is also a big hypermart in the basement selling groceries and household stuff plus another section of the mall dedicated to mobile phone and accessories shop in basement itself

Our group of 9 stayed at the Goodway Hotel in Batam. We highly recommend this Hotel for groups - the hotel has everything you need. It’s well-located close to all of the action at Nagoya Hill / NED. Great for shopping during the day and party at night. Nice pool and pool bar with cheap beers and fantastic Nasi Goreng. All of the staff looked after us very well and their number 1 priority was that we were having a good time. The Duty Manager Miss Viant was professional and friendly and went out of her way to help us, suggesting places for us to go as it was our first time to Batam. No doubt we would not have found the popular local places and had such a good time without her help. Hotel wine bar was also very good - it has free pool table, darts, big screen for sports and you get bottles of spirits at duty free airport prices. The room next to the wine bar had a bloody good performance group. Karaoke with a baby grand piano, full midi keyboard and vocalist to make us sound good! Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I had a nice stay at Harmoni. The hotel is situated on the doorstep of the Nagoya Entertainment District and hosts the best live music venue in Nagoya: the expensive NoName Bar. The front desk staff were courteous and went out of their way to accommodate me. The room was surprisingly spacious, though a faint, lingering bad odour (cigarette smoke?) was unfortunate. The only negative I have to say about staff was that housekeeping staff called and knocked on my door even though I had the 'privacy' sign illuminated. Breakfast is decent, not great, but can be opted out for a SG$5 discount on your room. The hotel is located literally across the street from four bars and within two minutes of many more. It is a 10-15 walk from Nagoya Hill shopping mall, or a 5 minute taxi. It's the best hotel in Nagoya but those seeking value for money might consider the second-to-cheapest room at Goodway Hotel, which is not as good but is very competitive and is only a two minute walk away.

A great and wonderful stay i have in this hotel. Big and spacious room. A new and well decorated hotel in Nagoya area. Wifi and Check-In is fast plus the breakfast buffett is great even though it is limited due to Weekdays Peroid. Hotel Staffs at Front Desk need to smile more and be friendly upon guest entering the hotel or Check-In / Check-Out. But overall im satisfied and happy with my stay here. Well recommended to all.

i had a 2d1n stay with my bf in their delux room. it was a pleasant stay. the room was so so much better & bigger than i expected it to be. the toilet with bathtub was very clean. everything that you might need are all. however, my advise is that you bring ur own shampoo (especially for ladies). because the shampoo, shower gel provided are all in one. for me, with long hair, i wouldn't want to use the same type of cleanser for both hair n body. other than that, please do try their massage at level 3, 2hrs thai massage for less than $16, i also did an hr body scrub for abt $11. it's super cheap n good. they also have another branch opposite of nagoya hill shopping mall (a&w) entrance. everything treatment provided are the same, except that nagoya hill out have additional hot stone massage. and it's really very very hot stone massage. cheap!! bcs and top 100 are also really walking distance. don't trust the street directory! trust the map provided by the hotel. as for breakfast at hotel, it wasn't a very good one. but still acceptable.

Check in was simple, quick and fast, impressed with how the staff remembered our names and faces, and greeted us personally each time. Room was clean, cozy, and smelled nice. Bed and sheets were average but not world class. Aircon does heat up a little at night. No qualms except that after room service each day, our towels would go missing with no auto replenishment, had to call room service for towels everyday, but not penalising the quality of the hotel as its a small issue. Daily breakfast not the most fancy, medium range, simple local spread, but not asking for more as it is neither Hilton nor Four Seasons. Hotel facilities basic with a small adequate pool at basement overlooking city, slightly scary surroundings if going alone. Table tennis table was a fun surprise. The hotel rooftop is a hidden gem and has great views at night. Had a lovely bbq buffet dinner for 120,000 rp per person (special for that night, so check out the restaurant as they frequently have special dining deals). Location of hotel was, in my personal opinion, great. Neither too far nor too near the hustle and bustle of Nagoya area. Around 10 mins by car (50,000 rp for taxi) to Nagoya Hill and 25 mins to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal (70,000 rp). 15 mins to BCS (60,000 rp). We really appreciated the added convenience of the free shuttle bus to bcs and nagoya. Changing your chosen pick up time can be done via a simple call to the hotel. If you miss the bus timings and would not like to wait for the next, the taxi counter at hotel entrance has a few drivers who are really nice and trustworthy. All prices are in black and white on a little board at the counter. Overall, I would rate the hotel 8.5/10 as it was above expectations for me and is a simple hotel that is good enough for my needs. Will definitely return to the same hotel during future visits. Hope this review helps future potential visitors.

The location is consider convenient, Not difficult to go to the nagoya mall, just go right turn 2 times, follow the path no need cross the road and you will see nagoya mall about 10 mins. If you going or coming back to hotel by taxi will be about sgd 4-5 standard fare. Overall stayed 2 nights is okay, hotel room looks the same as their pictures in agoda. The breakfast quite variety beside the small swimming pool. It is a hotel that combines with the residence, from 17th floor to 21 floor is for visitors as hotel, If i rmb correctly 11th to 16th is for their residence. So you definitely stay high floor. The wifi is strong and the cleanness is good, not sure why some review quite bad but mine is fine. Will stay again as the price is very good too.

Clean, comfy, quiet & friendly. Breakfast is Basic but you can ask for fried egg or Omelet. I ate a bit and save my stomach for the good food at the back of the Hotel. 3 Massage parlors near by. The 2 opposite BCS (Batam Centre Shopping) Mall are cheaper and not link to Hotel and Travel agent. So, they are cheaper. There is Bird Nest shop, Herbal Pork Rib Soup (Bak Gu Cha), Very, very good and popular fish soup stall directly opposite BCS Mall, Mixed Vegetables Rice Stalls (Surprisingly, they are better than Mixed Vege Rice stall in S'pore, chicken Rice stall, etc at the back of the Hotel just opposite BCS Mall. In BCS Mall, there are many thing to eat. Massage chair in one of the Games Arcade is IDR 3000 (30 cents S'pore) per massage (massage many times already). On the left side of BCS Mall is an Open Air Food Centre (A2 food centre) opened in the Evening. Plenty of of food to eat, eg. Satay, seafood restaurant, turtle soup, mee, bak got teh, BBQ seafood, Frog porridge (make sure they boil the porridge HOT..Hot), steak, etc.... Finally, buy Kuey Lapis cake at Ferry terminal when going home. You can book the cake at the company chain stall at BCS Mall or Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre. Bring along small change for tips. Taxis to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre is IDR40,000. Save on the Hotel Room price to pay for the Taxis (Hotel near Nagoya Hill are more expensive and don't have much things to eat).

We wanted 2 superior budget hotel rooms and surprised to find Swiss-Inn Batam to be within our budget and meeting a high standard of service. For this competitive low price, we could get clean and well maintained rooms. Hotel windows hidden by thick curtains are usually not properly wiped in most hotels, however Swiss-Inn Batam has sparkling clear windows. The hotel's breakfast was also one of the best amongst the 3-star hotels in Batam we had ever tried as they had many choices in the buffet breakfast. The hotel is centrally located near Nagoya Shopping Mall and A2 Food Court where there is a wide variety of local food there, especially Chinese Vegetarian Food which opens everyday till 8.30pm or 9pm. Taxi at the hotel lobby usually charge Rp10,000 - Rp20,000 more, so many times we took taxis along the main road outside the hotel instead. The taxi fare from this hotel to anywhere around Nagoya Hills/Mall or between this hotel to Batam Centre Ferry Terminal costs only Rp40,000 (lowest we ever negotiated, while some taxis may charge up to Rp80,000!). We are very satisfied with the location, service and cleanliness of this hotel. We will definitely visit this hotel again and recommend to friends.

#1. There is no bathtub in the entire hotel even though agoda states there is. Pros: cross the carpark (1min) to enter nagoya hill mall via Ace hardware. Save on plenty of taxi fare. Clean hotel. Friendly staffs. Zen wellness Spa next door, convenience store next door. Hot and cold water dispenser near lift area. Good food (porridge, fried rice, fried mee, bread station, egg station, 2 types of fruits and jelly). Travelled with 3 toddlers so it was super convenient location for nap times or any messy situation that needs a change of clothes and bath. Disney junior channel available for their entertainment on top of plenty cheap toys from nagoya hill mall. Cons: no kettle, no fridge, no hairdryer, no bathtub, no pool. But even with 3 toddlers, we can getby all this as we are very near to nagoya hill mall for loads of fun and great food. My children loved the arcade and shopping. Recommended hotel for nagoya hill mall lovers. Cheap and good location. Minimal facilities. No view.

5-10mnts walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall or Nagoya city walk. Surronding are full of restaurants and shops too. Elders will love to go to Avava wet market which located not really far from the hotel. Service is the most perfect in this hotel. Staffs all very attentive and friendly. Traveller should try their lai ka tong massage which really good and absolutely value for money. I heard from their staff that a sky bar will going to open soon, really can’t wait for my second staycation in this hotel! Besides that, I really enjoy myself during the new year celebration. The firework scene is really beautiful. I will sure come back again, well done Paragon Nagoya Hotel 👍🏻

the best budget hotel in Nagoya area, the hotel looks new, clean fancy room, the location is great,u could find everything around u, and theres even a laundry next to the hotel, its like 10 min walking to Nagoya hill mall, the breakfast was good enough,... for budget travel as my self it would be just the perfect hotel for u, as i kinda suffered with other budget hotels in the area! before i found Hana hotel. (thump Up)

Upon arrival, it was a breeze check-in and room (Superior 505) was ready for immediate occupancy. Room was very clean and well-maintained. Wide range of TV channels (sports, English movies, SG) via Indosiar. All staff (reception, dining, maintenance) were all very pleasant to interact with. Several things that can be improved are: - Mini-fridge could be set to colder (guest cannot change this setting) - Window latch must be more secure. - Better sound-proofing (we could hear the adjacent rooms & corridor, was awakened between 2 - 4 a.m. because other guests were too noisy. This may not be a problem if you're a deep sleeper or during off-peak periods) Potential off-putting for other travelers: - As the overall space of the room is limited, there is not much space for a wardrobe but we were alright with using the hangers; can ask for more if needed. - Toilet uses bidet system so one who has never used this before may have some issues getting comfortable with it. - Average size shower stall which may be a bit inconvenient for larger or taller guests. - Same breakfast menu for the period (4D3N) we stayed. - Small swimming pool and sky lounge Room service is one of the best we have ordered, compared to other hotels in Batam. From the point of order (very fluent in English) to the point of change return, everything was speedy (less than 20 minutes) and showed efficient service. Food quantity, taste and price were very reasonable e.g. IDR30k for 7 banana fritters & 1 scoop of ice cream/ IDR40k for a bowl of Tom Yum Goong & Rice. Great location in the middle of Nagoya Hill Shopping & Batam City Square (BCS). Convenience store is right beside the hotel entrance. Other tips: - Try epok-epok (1 for IDR3000) at Swee's Coffee Shop located beside the hotel. - We wanted to try the BBQ Dinner Under The Stars (IRD150k per pax on saturday night) but it was fully booked. If you'd like, call and book beforehand.

Vanilla Hotel is located is center of Nagoya area. You can reach Nagoya Hill Mall and Nagoya Citiwalk easily. The best thing from this hotel is its food court that is located on the first floor. Once you arrive, you will see the food court first, and then you have to go the second floor to meet the FO staff. I really like the food court. All stalls are clean, and the foods are delicious. The price is fair. A cup of tasty black coffee is only IDR 6,000. You can have your breakfast in the food court, because some stalls open at 7.00 AM. At night, you will have more varieties of food to enjoy. Across the hotel, there are many food stalls selling fresh sea food and other kinds of Indonesian dishes. It only takes about 30 minutes to Mega mall where you can buy ferry tickets to Singapore. If I return to Batam again, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Value for money. Plenty of amenities nearby - coffeshops, money changers, massage palors, hair saloons, mini supermarket (Top100). Very near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall (6-8 mins walk). Wifi is strong and accessible in most locations within the hotel. Only setback is lack of electric kettle, would be good to provide one especially for guests who want to make their own hot drinks. Breakfast is chargeable now (SGD2/pax), used to be inclusive of room. Cleanliness is superb in the room as well as the lobby area. Recommend for group with families.
