Ok hotel if you are looking for a bed to sleep in and then move on to the next stop. ”
The hotel is 2 kilometers from the city center (~25 minute walk). The rooms were older and the hot water in the shower would go from hot to cold and even stopped coming out of the shower head. It's an ok hotel to just grab a few Z's and then travel on to the next destination. Not suitable to relax and enjoy what Galway has to offer.

Although it was not close to town, it was only a 20-30 min. walk away. The staff were professional and helpful. The room was really big and the bed was comfortable.

Outstanding Accommodation ”
I have been travelling internationally for work,sport and pleasure since 1978 and extensively so between January 1991 and December 2007. I have stayed in every level of accommodation from 3 to 5 star in USA, Europe, Australia, NZ and S E. Asia. Menlo Park may be the best hotel I have stayed in for comfort, service and value in accommodation, restaurant, bar and breakfast room. I can't recommend it more highly to anyone come to Galway and only 6 minute bus ride to city as well.
