We have booked one room but when we arrived the hôtel was busy with one group, I guess. And the owner move us in the great cottage. It was a great upgrade service.

All you need in Munduk”

We stayed two nights in Meme Surung in Munduk where we did some hikes to the nearby waterfalls and villages. The staff was very helpfull as all guides were booked but they were able to appoint another staffmember as a guide and he did a really good job showing us around several villages and small paths between the rice paddies. The hotel has basic amenities but it's all you need when visiting Munduk: good, clean rooms with comfy beds, hot showers, decent breakfast and cold beers when you return from hour daytrip. The hotel provides an overview with possible hikes in the surroundings. Within a few minutes walk there are a few restaurants and local warungs, including one with an awesome sunset view (forgot the name, has 2 open floors)

Nice basic hotel”

there aren't many hotels in munduk so your choices are slim. meme surung homestay offers nice basic rooms which are quite adequate for most travellers. breakfast was also pretty basic. there is no airconditioning, but considering in munduk it gets rather cold at night you will certainly not need it. the dirty and dusty mosquito net is all you need although we didn't encounter any critters in our room.

Nice budget hotel, good rooms”

We stayed for two nights in Meme Surung Homestay. It is a nice family hotel, with a great view, good rooms with nice place to relax, sit, gooed mosquito net. You can use the bar in Puri Lumbung Cottages, about 20 minutes walk uphill. Puri Lumbung and Meme Surung belong together. Halfway to Puri Lumbung is a great relaxed restaurant, perfect food, free wifi. I forgot the name.

We enjoyed our two nights at Meme Surang, staff were really friendly and helpful in arranging a local guide, map to local waterfalls and onward transport. The meals were the best we had in Munduk. Only negative was the open air room (shutters that did not close) and open air bathroom. Mozzie net provided was a must.

Good, clean accommodation and helpful staff, who can provide information about trekking in the area and a guide (the walk to the local waterfalls is recommended). The restaurant has a lovely view over the hills and reasonable food.

Hôtel de passage sympathique”

Le séjour s'est très bien passé, même si les prix pratiqués pas le resto de l'hôtel sont un peu excessifs pour le pays. La chambre était propre mais la construction faisait que l'on entendait tout ce qui se passait chez le voisin (et vice versa)

nous avons passé deux nuits avec nos deux enfants dans cet hôtel. un endroit sympathique pour s'immerger dans l'ambiance douce et typique de munduk. les chambres sont très sommaires, et petites, mais c'est une ambiance très authentique et agréable.

Petit hôtel très sympathique. Confort simple mais propre.Situation dans Munduk parfaite. Vue magnifique sur la montagne et coucher de soleil splendide de la terrase de l'hôtel. Le petit geste à la fin du séjour est la cerise sur le gâteau !
