It didn't live up to my standards for its pricing”
The good.. location.. near eateries and the sea.. short walk to good views.. there's a pub on the first floor with live music and lounge on the top floor too. So u don't really need to go elsewhere for entertainment. I know there's a ktv room for the karaoke enthusiasts but I didn't go The not so good... The hotel superior room is a no go.. it faces a building which is old and dirty. The moment I step into the room and look out the window I had to get out. And to add salt to injury, staff says all superior rooms are like that, facing the exact same thing. Hence I upgraded (paid additional 800k idr for 3 nights) to a bigger room. This room is decent. Partial view of the sea. Another huge turn off for me is there is no free parking. The hotel management haven't been able to get a deal with harbour bay to let guests park for free. Paid an additional 180k idr for parking in total. The bad.. Breakfast spread is bad. I've been to many cheaper hotels in batam with a better spread. Staff attitude and service is dependant on luck. First day I got a good one, second day got one who does the job just because.. didn't clean the room thoroughly enough.. And this next one is unacceptable to me.. called and requested restaurant for plates and cutlery which didn't come at all.. had to get them myself downstairs at the breakfast resto (not a single staff was there!) After waiting for half hour.. so yeah I stand by my 3 star rating this round for this hotel and this is being generous... I won't be back for the hotel stay.

Wifi - mediocre Greeted by two cockroaches. Looks clean but is somewhat dusty if you have allergic reaction to dust. My wife had trouble sleeping at night due to reaction to dust on the bed cover and/or blanket. Breakfast was mediocre. Some food was not warm. We both had to go to toilet within an hour. I had to go twice. There was no soap in bathroom. Only dental kits. The good: Reception lobby, building maintenance is quite good. There is also a musollah. Walking distance to ferry terminal. You could negotiate with porter at the ferry terminal to walk to your hotel and pick up your luggage. Staff also have a pleasant personality. The staff let us checkout one hour later.

Stayed as a solo traveller. Location is near the ferry terminal. Walkable to HW tiger disco. Breakfast nothing to shout about. Have constant warm water with adequate water pressure. Relatively clean rooms with helpful staff. Overall, enjoyed my stay and will recommend.
Disappointed for the Front Office service”
I check in on 30th Dec late evening and was given a twin bedded room as the Front office staff say no more queen bed available. That is fine with me. Next day 31st morning ar about 1150hrs ask them can I change to a Queen bed room, I was told not available, as I am staying on the 4th floor I notice housekeeping already clean up the checkout room which is a queen bed room. When approached Front office staff, they say Queen bed room already taken. As my booking is for single and queen room request I was not given. I told them that you can give me a queen beds abd later when guests check they can say no more queen, which is the same case as I was treated upon check in. I actually wanted to celebrate New Year's Count down with 10 guests but decided to go to celebrate in other facilities due to your hotel staff don't have a customer service. I was given a room which don't have a TV which I can watch due to no signal. I told the Front office staff don't sell an out of order room to your guest. Maintenance have come to check 3 time and only today 31st the maintenance did brief me how to use the remote control. There are no 2 remote to operate TV, if need to use 2 remote kindly explain to guests how to use it. I have been staying at your hotel for more than 5 times but I think I won't be staying anymore and I will let my contact not to use your hotel too. F.Y.I I am a hotelier in Singapore.

The location of M-one Hotel is most convenience, very near the ferry terminal, within short range of the night spots, especially the seafood restaurants by the beach. The hotel provides clean room and the window view is superb. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
