We travel around three weeks in Costa Rica and this was the best accomodation we had( the others were very well too, but this was a special one). The owner is a pretty woman with a smart and helpful daugther, which speaks fluently english and had organized for us a tour and gave us worthy recommadations about the area and activitis. We appreciate the cleany and tidy aparment. The owner offered us a good breakfast( some fruits and very delicious coffee). We can highly recommend this place - it is worth the money.

Hideaway overlooking the valley”

Decor is beautiful. Apartment is well equipped Lidia and daughter Sofi are wonderful Cleanliness Location Peaceful This is a lovely hideaway at the end of a short street which overlooks the valley and forest beyond. Their is a lot of attention to detail which makes this studio apartment so beautiful and comfortable. It is a short walk to town. The bus to puntarenas goes by the main street. The photos do not even do it justice.

Wonderful stay”

We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and welcomed us with a large rainbow the first day. It is equipped with everything you need, spacious and very clean. The host family was so kind and helped us out with information on how to see the attractions and recommendations. Thanks to that we saw probably the most beautiful sunset ever just 20 min walk from the apartment.

Sofía is the kindest and most helpful host you could wish for. She helped organize all of my tours based on my wishes and likes (and all tours were SO amazing; zipline, hanging bridges, guided night tour). All customers were given a large plate of fruits each morning (complimentary). The view is wonderful, from sunny with a clear view to mystical as the mountain side is covered by clouds. This place is truly great value for your money.

Lidia, Sofia and her sister (so sorry can’t remember the name) were very welcoming and friendly. We also loved the dog and got to see a family of monkeys in the garden! They were always on hand if needed and gave recommendations, on our last morning gave us a lovely fruit plate.
The bed in the main bedroom was a little small for us, other than that very comfortable.

Lidia provides fresh fruit plate every morning with a smile and Pura Vida. Absolutely lovely lady and her daughter Sofia who was our concierge setting up tours. Sofia helped me many times with her excellent English resolving some problems we were having. we’re sending everyone we know their way. incredibly affordable price. they could charge twice as much since they offer such personal attention & service.

Lydia and her family were very hospitable and made sure we were well looked after. Her property is a great find and just a few minutes walk away from restaurants and shops, with an amazing view of the mountains. They were very helpful in terms of organizing transport and tours for us. Perfect place for 2 couples and great value for money.

Such s lovely place to stay at! Sophia and her mother Are super nice and welcoming. They give you a big platter of fruit every morning and help you with tours and activities. The WiFi was the best we had in Costa Rica. Everything was so great. The little apartment is just what you need.
It was windy these days so we really heard it at night. However that is nothing they can influence.

The place is nice, the rooms are cozy but the best thing are the hosts: best I have ever seen in years. They are more like travel agents than b&b hosts. They arrange experience, transport, tips, you name it. And cherry on the cake the complimentary fresh fruit brought in the morning. Totally recommended.
One very minor detail: a mirror in the bathroom would help :-)

The host showed up with a huge fruit platter every morning between 7:30 and 8:00; on one occasion they also shared with me a traditional hearty breakfast- delicious!
This is not a critique but they are right when they say the wind is strong. On my second night the howling wing made it difficult to fall asleep.

Greats views, and an amazing stay. Lidia and her family were really attentive hosts, who were always on hand to help and would often go above and beyond…they even took us to a great spot where locals watch the sunset, and gave us a heads up that some monkeys were in the garden. I would definitely stay here again.

Great fruit platter for breakfast, Super delicious welcome smoothie, shops are very near (less than 10 min walking). If we had wishes or questions we got best answers
Full equipped kitchen, but no useful knives in our room, you had to ask once for the host to open the gas pipe and after 8pm shower is cold.

Amazing view”

You have an entire house to yourself and it has an amazing view of the mountain. Sophie was super helpful when I needed medical assistance and brought us a plate of fruits one morning.
As you are in the mountains and in the nature - expect to see some bugs around the house. But this is normal
