Loved this mountain house!”
We loved our stay at casa de la montana! A lovely family owns the place and they were so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. The shower was a little cold but was ok with us. Breakfast was fantastic. The house is in the forest and we got to see great wildlife including a bunch of monkeys! There are a handful of restaurants and a mini market in walking distance.

I was greeted and was anxious to go on a tour as soon as I arrived. They helped call and I was able to get a tour booked immediately. I was even helped on booking a tour for the next day. They even called and confirmed pick up times for me too. After, I was shown my room which was very clean and cozy. The staff was a family and they all were so nice and friendly. They helped me so much, giving me tips and suggestions on where to go and what to do!

Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sprechen sehr gut Englisch. Wir fühlten uns dadurch wirklich willkommen. Der Gastgeber zeigte uns jeden Tag Tiere im Garten (schlafende Vögel in der Nacht, Affen, Agutis, Nasenbären bei Tag,…) Man darf auch die Küche benutzen. Sie haben problemlos einen Tour am selben Tag für uns organisiert. Unbedingt einen Abend im Restaurant und auf den Trails vom weiter unten gelegenen, benachbarten Econdido Valley verbringen!

Der sehr freundliche Gastgeber gab mir viele Tipps was ich in der Umgebung unternehmen könnte und war stets hilfsbereit. Er buchte für mich einen Nightwalk im Dschungel. Das Frühstück und der Kaffee waren top. Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Es gibt auch einen interessanten Garten mit allerlei wilden Tieren anzuschauen.
