Fantastic Location and staff”
We stayed here 2 nights and the staff let us check in 2hrs earlier than our checkin time. Room was very spacious and most importantly super clean! Felt like home away from home but in uber luxury. All staff knew our names and were super helpful to assist in anyway especially with our daily plans. Special shout out to Wulan at reception and Adi for welcoming us and treating us like gods! Every time we stepped out and came back (even for an hour) we had a clean room with fresh towels, robes and water topped up. It was like someone hit reset! Just blissful and amazing!

If you're heading to Ubud, definitely stay here. My friend and I had the best stay at Komaneka at Monkey Forest. From consistently greeting us by names to our welcome drink, we felt so at home here. Our room was kept clean and refreshed throughout our stay. My favorite part was definitely the big bathtub. The breakfast was delightful. Even though the entrance is on a busy street, the grounds were so peaceful and quiet. I was baffled that this was possible. The pool is so relaxing tucked amongst the trees.

Worth the money”
There was a group of 3 women, and the additional bed was set up in a great space, that didn't feel in the way. Staff were ALL so lovely, the place was clean, we felt very safe; the breakfast options were good and the location I would say is spot on. You feel relaxed here but not too far away if you want "a night", with also a Art studio space shop. I would definitely recommend and also if I am ever back in Ubud, would book again!

Central location, great service and warm hospitality ”
We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at Komaneka Monkey Forrest and a big shout out to the entire team for making our trip a memorable and a pleasant stay. Location wise it's a convenient location right in the middle of Ubud town and easy to get around. We have stayed at different Ubud properties and we tend to avoid properties in Ubud town as it can get busy but this property was peaceful and quiet even though it's in the middle of town and very convenient if you want to stay in town area. This is our second stay at a Komaneka property and we love their focus on local arts and culture which is displayed all across the properties from the paintings from local painters to the sculptures and design of the rooms. Such a great boutique property group and we love what they are doing to promote local arts. We stayed in a suite room which was very spacious, good layout and decorated tastefully. Even though this is their oldest property we didn't feel it's tired. Service in the resort is where I think Komaneka stands out, all the staffs from front desk to restaurant staff to gardeners all have been trained very well and it shows in the smiles you get as you walk by to the greetings by your name. That is simply put FS, Aman or Ritz Carlton standards and you do get spoiled by attentive and warm service all throughout our stay. Kudos to the Komaneka management team for maintaining such high standards. Food at the restaurant is of high standard and al carte breakfast has a wide variety of dishes and comes in freshly cooked to order. Afternoon tea is a everyday treat and it is complimentary, which is again a added treat. For hotels in this mid price range, Komaneka stands out with their dedication to local arts, culture, standards and service and we just love what they are doing.

Great hotel and service”
I loved my stay at Komenika at monkey forest. The staffs are great. The service are first class. The location is great. There are lots of restruant and cafes are near by. One night my internet stopped working, so when I called front desk they had a tech came out to fix the internet in 60 sec. This is amazing service to me. The breakfast was amazing at the hotel.

The fact that we returned to this hotel is already an indication how we liked our earlier stays. However, it is always difficult for a hotel to meet high expectations. Absolutely perfect stay”
The staff really make the stay amazing. Nothing is too much, they go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The grounds are kept impeccably and the location, despite being near the centre of Ubud, is so quite and peaceful. The breakfast is also amazing, with fresh juices and cakes and pastries with freshly cooked meals from a menu that changes slightly each day. We had the pool (which is set at the back of the property set amongst the jungle) almost to ourselves the entire 3 day stay. Would definitely stay it again and recommend to anyone staying in Ubud.

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is located in the center city of Ubud. Many restaurants, cafes and shops around the hotel. We stayed here for 2 nights with half board meal. The food was delicious. It just lack of variety as the served menu was the same for those 2 days. Hotel staff were friendly. The only downside was the TV channel option as it is limited to local programs only. Staying here gave us the forest vibes. We could see the monkeys around the premises from the balcony. Interesting.

Komaneka at Monkey Forest is simply great ”
Komaneka at Monkey Forest is located right at the heart of Ubud. But even though just outside the hotel is the hustle and bustle of the city, you hear nothing inside. It's truly an oasis with everything you can ask for. The staff is friendly and helpfull with what ever you need. the rooms are great. The bed is lovely. Everything in the rooms are exactly what it should be. It's really a peaceful place to stay. I recommend families with small children to find another hotel to preserve the quiet of the grounds. especially the pool area.
