"The hotel is just a street away from the Shinkoiwa train station and next to a number of very good family restaurants. In the lobby there are book closets with an insane amount of manga for you to borrow (all in Japanese). The room itself was clean but a bit small (even to Japanese standards), so if you have quite some luggage with you, put your luggage temporarily on the bed if you need to rearrange stuff. One more thing I would like to mention: the incredibly helpful staff at the reception counter. One of the staff members (who stayed in Germany and the US for a while) helped us tremendously with our train connections, and with all sorts of contingency options in case we missed one of the connections. I recommend this hotel to nearly everyone who needs to stay in Tokyo for a few days. P.S.: we did not consume any food in the hotel, so my rating of 4 stars should be ignored. I blame Agoda for not providing a "N/A" option."
